Confirmation stated fridge, no fridge in the room. Water from the shower flows out of the shower spending an extra 19 minute to clean. No cutlery, no box of tissue. Pokies room. Good pillows & towels. Too expensive. Reception staff were kind. Won't come here again.

The hotel is ideally located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, within walking distance of two metro stations – Place d'Italie and Corvisart. It's also well-distanced from major thoroughfares, so it's quiet. From Corvisart, Metro line 6 takes you directly to the Eiffel Tower. Several metro lines connect Place d'Italie, offering easy access to any part of Paris.

Furthermore, the hotel is practically in the center of the Butte-aux-Cailles neighborhood, a popular spot for street art enthusiasts. Take a stroll through the streets of the neighborhood during your free time – you'll find plenty to discover. Parc Montsouris is also within walking distance, where you can stroll along the green paths or sit by the pond.

The hotel has a 24-hour reception, which is convenient if you arrive early in the morning or late in the evening. Check-in is from 2:00 PM, and check-out is until 11:00 AM.
Friendly reception staff.
My room had a double bed, a wardrobe, a table, a chair, and a stool. The bathroom had a window—the glass was frosted, so you were reasonably private if needed, but washing up by an open window in Paris on a nice day was a treat. The bathroom had a shower, soap, and mini shower gel.
The room also had a kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, and paper cups. A small refrigerator was a big plus. I didn't include breakfast because I knew the shops in the area, so I kept everything I needed in the refrigerator. I could always make myself tea or coffee.
There was a safe, if that was a concern.
There was a mirror above the sink in the bathroom and a full-length mirror on the closet door.
The room was cleaned well.
From my window on the 6th floor, I could see the Montparnasse Tower. If it hadn't been there, I would have had a great view of the Eiffel Tower. But because of Montparnasse, all I could see was the spotlight on the Eiffel Tower. But this didn't spoil my impression of the hotel at all.
The hotel has an elevator, but if you prefer, you can also take the spiral staircase up and down.
Overall, the hotel was a positive experience. I would happily stay here again.

Room was very small, difficult to open 2 large suitcases together. Hotel is close to Orly airport. It's a little far from the city Centre but can be reached there in public transport. The street is pretty lively. Hotel doesn't have too many veg options.

Not a huge room, but excellent by Paris standards, with a standard-sized double bed; minimalist but efficient bathroom. Impeccable cleanliness. Convenient location to two metro lines (6 towards the Eiffel Tower and 7 towards Notre Dame) just a few minutes away on foot. Varied, excellent and plentiful breakfast. Staff always available. Quiet neighborhood, with numerous clubs. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for our stay in Paris. The neighborhood is nice and pleasant, there are no food problems, there are several pubs and little places that allow you to have breakfast, lunch, dinner and after dinner without problems. It should be noted that if you are late remember that in the neighborhood the restaurants close early so after 11pm we were unable to eat!. The hotel is easily accessible and well connected by metro, we moved easily by metro to Place d'Italie and Conversaut. If you feel like walking you can get to the Arc de Triomphe in 1h 40 minutes, by metro you can get anywhere in less than 15 minutes. So great location and price. Nice facility, clean and friendly staff. It was not clear why leaving the digital key at reception every day it disappeared and had to be reprogrammed but these are details. Upon our arrival the room door did not open and within a few minutes we were given a new room. Fast and efficient. The room is equipped with what you need, there is a kettle and herbal teas, but nothing is provided in the fridge so buy the water in any market. Too bad about the air vent which pointed right at the bed, the first night we had some intermittent air during the night but nothing serious (just put the hot option and set the temperature low to prevent the system from throwing air continuously). The bed is large and comfortable as are the various pillows offered for various positions. The sockets are European here and if you come from Italy you don't need adapters and there are several sockets available to charge various devices. In our room, it's a shame that there was no lamp next to the bed with an exposed power terminal, a bit dangerous for those with children. Small bathroom (toilet) without window, while sink and shower overlooking the room, probably typical of Paris, the shower is large and comfortable. To be appreciated that the towels were changed every day (very positive). For breakfast we chose to eat around and only one day in the hotel, breakfast 12 euros each. rich. (Croissants, croissants with chocolate, plum cake, baguette, salami, ham, butter, fruit juice, eggs.... There is no bar for cappuccino coffee but the automatic machine that does everything) For the price paid, it is also worth it for a few days we obviously recommend trying the various pastry shops in the area. We recommend this hotel for your stay, even walking beyond the Place d'Italie there are streets with many bars. Eating and drinking will not be a problem.

This is an excellent hotel, especially if you want to be in the 13th arrondissement near the Gobelins, Musee des Plantes, the lovely community fresh water swimming pool and Place Italie. The 13th arrondissement is the hip place to stay, very young vibe on the Left Bank. My husband and I stayed in a single room on the fourth floor that had a great mattress. My husband is 71 yrs, with a quirky back, 6ft 5, 275 lbs and always had a great night sleep. Plus he was thrilled with the elevator and the superb breakfast. The staff was lovely and all the conveniences (toiletries, hair dryer, etc) were included. I am returning to France in May to pick up medications (much cheaper that in the US) and to visit the Canal du Midi and the Riviera. We'll be in Paris for a couple days, and Hotel St. Charles is our "to stay" place.

Stayed in hotel in Jan 24, with my 8 female family members. It's is very clean, well decorated and in the lovely area of Butte Aux Calles.. The price was very good. Rooms a bit small but well laid out and probably bigger than most rooms in Paris. It's about 25/30 mins to Eifel tower but Metro is just 5 mins walk. There are lovely little bakeries, bars and restaurants in the surrounding area.

This hotel is very homely staffed with nice people. Must paris icons only 12$ by taxi away. Typical French restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are a bit small but are clean with adequate bathrooms. Did enjoy stay and would be happy to return.

If evilness and rudeness was a hotel this is it. Worst experience in my life. First of all we booked three rooms but at arrival the hotel staff says we have four rooms, took at least 20 minutes to solve this and instead of giving us one bigger or connecting rooms as it was described in the booking we get four small rooms. Secondly by unknown reason one of our cards for payment didn’t work so we decided to pay half in cash and half by another card. When I offered during daytime to pay with the card the staff says we can do it later. Upon coming back after the day our rooms are blocked and the new staff says it’s blocked because we didn’t pay (?!I even offered to pay during day time), of course I paid immediately but as this whole situation is unacceptable we wanted to talk to the manger who next day lies to me and tells me that rooms get blocked by itself from time to time. In the room one lamp wasn’t working. Third thing is the breakfast buffet, not much to offer and a very rude person working here and checking how much one and each is eating. Feel extremely uncomfortable, to that point that I didn’t even want to ask for more coffee. He even asked my once why I’m taking too many croissant. Later when I asked manager why he asked me he says because people take food along with them. Of course we all know that, but to openly suspect your guest is the worst or worst. Would never ever recommend this hotel to anyone, and as the cliche at it may sound not even to my worst enemy!

Lovely simple hotel but in great neighbourhood! The hotel room was very small as was our bathroom but it was clean and bed super comfortable! Friendly staff. Loads great restaurants and bars nearby. A fair distance from most attractions but well worth it as quite peaceful at night.
