I ended up choosing this particular hotel in Nation, Paris, after seeing recommendations in other posts [crying emoji]. It's a bit further from the main attractions, but Paris public transport is so convenient that taking the metro for 3 stops or 10 doesn't feel much different. Plus, Nation metro station is right nearby, so it's quite handy.

My colleague's room was broken into and hundreds of euros were stolen, but surprisingly, their pounds weren't touched. Quite ironic! Everyone, please be sure to keep an eye on your belongings when you're out and about to avoid theft.

The guy at the reception on the first day charged me for the hotel without checking my reservation schedule, which left a bad impression on me. The two ladies who helped me later brought me a stove when I said the heating wouldn't turn on, and when I asked for a kettle they found one and brought it to me.

The facilities are a bit old, but everything else is excellent! The location is very convenient, and the room is very quiet! I would definitely consider staying here again!

During my four-night, five-day stay, the bathroom water flushed smoothly, and the staff were friendly. The air conditioning was so bad it was almost freezing. However, I'd have to question the cleanliness. The carpet was stuck to the floor, so the smell was no joke. The breakfast was almost convenience store-quality. However, the location is really great. It's convenient no matter where you go.

Great location, nice hotel, but I recommend sleeping upstairs, as the metro noise downstairs is blasting through you and it's also noisy in the courtyard if you want peace and quiet.
