Hotel Residence Foch in Paris

We stayed at this hotel for several nights and were disappointed; we expected much better based on the photos online.

Let's start with the positives: excellent location, with Porte Dauphine metro station a 10-15 minute walk away. The staff were very kind and attentive, with a special shoutout to the breakfast attendant who went above and beyond to please guests. The breakfast itself was varied and comprehensive, even offering halal options for those who require them (first time I've seen that in a hotel). Coffee and tea in the room were included in the price.

Now for the negatives: the hotel definitely doesn't deserve its 4-star rating. We booked a superior room, which was no different from a standard room. The common areas and elevator were very cramped, and the breakfast room was also tiny (you'll be practically dining with your neighbors). The room had terrible soundproofing; I could hear the neighbor snoring and people talking. The decor and furniture were old, and there was an odor on the carpets. The bathroom wasn't very clean.

We visit Paris regularly, and unfortunately, we won't be returning to this hotel. It's not worth the price paid.

The location is very good, clean and quiet. You can walk to the Champs-Elysées and the Arc de Triomphe. The service staff is also very nice. If you are traveling for business, the price is actually very suitable. The 16th district is a very good area.

It’s a small boutique hotel, so I don’t expect too much about the facilities.

But I book my room with balcony which is cute. I had my own breakfast here everyday. The shower room was not working well. But after I reported it to the concierge then it was fixed immediately. So i will come back again for sure !

The room is on the inner courtyard side so it was pretty quiet.
Location was great, close to many metro stations and good restaurants.
The staff on our arrival day was so nice.
Only downside was that the bed could be a bit more comfortable.

I want to say that Algerian receptionist Gave us amazing experience and precious travel memory for us. Thank you. Sorry that we didn't get your name. We appreciate your assistance and professionalism. I witnessed a middle-aged man treating him very rudely, but he handled it very well :)
