Services and facilities
There was plenty of choice at breakfast and kept us filled until our evening meal.
The only thing missing was tea and coffee making facilities in the room. It would have been nice to make a cup of tea on returning to the room.
Only one little niggle... We left our towels on the rail to indicate that we were happy to use them another day, however these were changed every day. Just seems to defeat the point of asking us to do this to help the environment if they're going to ignore the request.
It was a true pleasure ! I will be back.
The welcome drink on arrival should be at least for the couple and not for a single person. A late check-out was obtained with difficulty. Finally, it should be noted that, the reception staff has been a great recourse for us to explain our orientation to the city.
The kitchen does not suffer from the attendance. Special Mention to the kitchen which has managed to maintain a cooked fish to the heart and the head of restoration that took 4 to help me out my key HS
Upon arrival we were told that the parking is for a FEE! A rate of 20 euro for the night! Pool access is subject to extra charges of 5 euro/ person and only from 10h to 14h !! Come to the client on a lie is unacceptable. Jacuzzi out of order! Sauna out of order! Jet in the pool down! And it for 15 days! State of the premises deplorable, cleanliness really decevante! (Mosissure, peeling paint, holes in walls, hair, dirt) a black spot in our weekend getaway in "the most beautiful city of France"
We enjoyed our stay here and would come again, but hope the rooms have been spruced up a bit by then.
Team very attentive to the clean room , it is certain I will come back with pleasure .
Has taste of the coffee vienois breakfast
Hotel at a few minutes from the metro, nice Welcome, quiet room, very clean, good bedding and the shower room modern and clean, TOILET integrated.
regrets : - hours access to the swimming pool ( 5 €) very limited up to 18h Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 14 h . Disappointed with the breakfast yet paid 10,50 € per person : with little choice, at least 10 minutes without the fruit salad and orange juice without ANYONE noticing it, I had to claim ... unpleasant !! ! and the evening meal : a buffet with a few dishes cooled and without diversity ( 4 main dishes, difficult to qualify for "buffet" in comparison to many of the competitors ! )
the right choice may be to take advantage of the restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
Firstly, I found the desk service rather unhelpful and lacking in some areas. We were there in summer and on a couple of nights when it was particularly hot we asked to have the air conditioning turned on. There was one in the room but it was off. The desk attendant simply informed us that the air conditioners were "seasonal" and refused to reason any further. It was summer so we were curious to know when air conditioning season would be. Other guests took to propping their doors open to let some air circulate through their rooms from the hallway. Also, there were no coat hangers in our room so I went to the desk to ask for some and they replied that they "don't supply coat hangars." This was a surprise because even the most budget hotels I've stayed in before at least have coat hangars.
Secondly, I found the breakfast rather bland, consisting mostly of croissants, breads, cheese and cereals. The hotel was filled with tourists so I can't see why they can't afford to provide decent food. What small items of hot food came out wasn't very good. Also, one morning when my sister-in-law was walking out, she was approached by a staff member and rudely accused of stealing food; that she had been seen doing it every morning. She had been doing nothing of the sort and invited the staff member to inspect her bag. When it was found she had nothing the staff member walked away without acknowledging her error or offering any kind of apology. It was obviously a case of mistaken identity. We find this quite unacceptable and unprofessional. I think the staff need some training in customer service. My sister-in-law often visits Paris but vowed not set foot in an Ibis again.
I was instructed how to catch the local bus to move around town and they were helpful with
every question we had. The room was neat and clean.
I would recommend to anyone traveling to the area. An excellent hotel with great rates posted,
although my stay was part of a package! Love the facility. Beautiful ...
