The hotel is situated in the heart of the theatre district next to the cabaret the Folies Berge, the Opera and Grands boulevards in the white building with wrought iron balconies. Stylish modern hotel interior was developed by designer Argirelin, which took a dominant place bright red.

Unfortunately, that prime location comes with significant drawbacks. The hotel sits surrounded by restaurants and nightlife, which creates substantial noise well into the night. This wouldn't normally be a major issue, but my air conditioning was broken during my stay. I had to rely on a small fan and keep windows open for fresh air, which meant I couldn't escape the street noise.
The room itself is quite small, which is expected in this area, but cleanliness was disappointing. I encountered a clogged sink that wasn't properly maintained, and the carpet appeared dirty and worn.
While I appreciate the central location and the staff's efforts, the combination of noise issues, broken AC, and cleanliness problems made for an uncomfortable stay. The hotel has potential given its location, but basic maintenance and noise management need attention before I could recommend it to others.
Would I stay again? Probably not, despite the convenient location.
But based on the information and pictures, the hotel didn't match our expectations. The room was rather small and it was difficult to move around. The safari theme in the bedroom was rather dated. The bathroom needs some repair works as could see some tiles coming off. The air conditioning as reported elsewhere wasn't working and they provided a very nosy portable unit.
The breakfast option didn't look very inspiring so we went out to the local cafes which were better.
I just don't think this was good value for the money we paid.
Think we would have been better off next door at the Maxim Opera.
Room was quite big for Paris, electric heater needs update and hair dryer wasn’t working and they didn’t have a spare one which is needed specifically on winter.
Receptionist on our check out was very friendly and helpful.
