Had a lovely stay this weekend at Hotel Balmoral. We were able to check in early and Anne-Claire gave us an upgrade to a beautiful room overlooking the Parisian streets. Anne-Claire was at our disposal the entire time, at check-in, breakfast and with renting their bikes (for free! and a great way to visit all the touristic spots in Paris), so thank you for your great hospitality. Other ++: Bed very...
I miss Paris already however I could not wait to return home to write a review about the wonderful Hotel Balmoral. There is no better hotel to stay in when you visit Paris than this one. my husband and I stayed in France for 2 weeks and while we were in Paris we stayed here. The location is unbeatable as it is close to transportation and tourist attractions but most importantly the service was SUPERB...
My wife and me really had very enjoyable and lovely stay in the hotel. The reception has welcomed us in very warm and kind manner. The entire team showed great effort to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The location is also awesome in the "heart" of Paris - metro station and car park effectively next door. We would come again any time. Thanks for your great hospitality.
We stayed here for four days last July/August. It's a small hotel just walking distance to the Arc de Triomphe and to the Champs Elysées. Christian from the Reception was very accommodating. Anne Claire was so welcoming that we got the impression of 'staying' in a relative's place : ) She had made it sure that we would have all the transfers needed (to/from hotel, we were four and it was not easy...
Beautiful place and not as small compared to other hotel rooms in Paris, but somehow we found flies in the room more than once as well as other tiny insects. Also if you're not out of your room by 10:30 am they continuously call to ask when the housekeepers can clean. I thought a Do not disturb sign meant do not disturb. But maybe not in this hotel. This happened each day. Also they lock the lobby...
We really enjoyed our weekend stay at Hotel Balmoral. It's a lovely, well presented hotel with fantastic, friendly staff. We're looking forward to returning soon!

Loved the overall stay yet there is a strong smell of mold in room and hallways. Had to keep windows open due to this issue.
I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times while looking for a convenient option near the Montparnasse train station. The rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast is excellent, and the bar is very nice as well. I would easily rate it at the top if it weren’t for one recurring issue - the restaurant. It’s frequently closed — whether due to holidays, private events, or other...
This was my second visit to Paris and my second stay at this hotel. There is something very relaxed about the neighborhood. The rooms are decent sized - not large and the staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is very nice quality. If I were to go back to Paris third time I may stay here again.
Karine went above and beyond helping us get checked in and settled. Very valuable to have employees that dedicate their time to help guests. THANK YOU Wonderful amenities and great location for walking. Will stay again!
Good experience over all. Walkable to nearby restaurants etc and not in too busy of an area.
We arrived early, reception staff allowed us early check in which is greatly appreciated.Room was spotlessly clean, quiet and comfy beds. The restaurant was amazing and there was 5-9pm happy hours. Highly recommended!!

Check-in was good. We were asked to give a credit card for 50 euro deposit for the mini bar, which would be refunded on departure. On departure, we were asked about the mini bar, and we had said that we did not consume any items. The gentleman said thank you all.is taken care of. Five days later, we checked our credit card account and noticed that there were 2 items charged to our account for the...
My stay at Hôtel Mayflower Opéra Paris was nothing short of delightful! From the moment I arrived, the staff's warm welcome and attention to detail made me feel instantly at ease. The hotel’s location is absolutely perfect—nestled in the heart of Paris, just a stone’s throw from the iconic Opéra Garnier and the bustling Grands Boulevards. It’s also within walking distance of world-class shopping destinations...
very good hotel clean, the staff is nice, specifically the Mrs.Asma At the reception and Mrs. Chef Amal. The price is flawed against the size of the rooms as well as the lack of parking, but it provides debit cards for parking near it.
The service from most of the hotel staff is extremely great, especially ASMA and JAMES! ASMA always treats people with a warm smile and attentive service! Her service attitude is impeccable! JAMES went out of his way to help us, even though it was a very small request, he still tried his best to help us fulfil it! He also took the initiative to warmly ask if we wanted tea or coffee as we arrived...
Pros: Friendly Staff: The staff here are incredibly welcoming and go above and beyond to assist, even helping us with an event booking that wasn’t their responsibility. Spacious Room: The room is generously sized, with a large bed that’s more comfortable than those in similar hotels we’ve stayed at. Relaxing Décor: The room’s interior is soothing and modern, with cool colours and a light, airy feel...
Even though the room is relatively small, you can’t beat the price and the view in 8th district like this hotel! The bed is extremely comfortable, we actually rank the bed 5/5 compared to all of other hotels. The staff is okay but the services they provide are standard so nothing to complain about.

Cons: The hotel is quite old overall. They still use old-fashioned keys, which you have to hand in every time you leave. The room was very small, soundproofing was terrible, and all the facilities and equipment were dated. Pros: It's very close to the metro station and the Arc de Triomphe. I booked a room with a view of the Arc de Triomphe, but the outdated facilities and equipment really made it...
Always a pleasure l to come back here The stuff are very nice and the place is good
The hotel is a bit old, but it has a very Parisian feel to it. I've stayed here twice now. The staff downstairs collect the keys every day, so it feels quite safe. It's right next to the metro exit.
We are disappointed that there is instruction next to the hotel, the view of the Arc de Triomphe is totally blocked. Also, strong smell of **** in the hotel room from our next door during our stay. However, the reception was helpful enough to help us arranging airport shuttle during peak times.
The bathroom is newly renovated, the location is great, right next to a subway station, and the front desk service is very thoughtful.
The hotel boasts a charming European vintage decor. The service was excellent! They use traditional keys, and you can leave yours at the front desk when you go out. It's right by the Arc de Triomphe and very close to the Eiffel Tower. Breakfast was a bit simple, though.

Staff were super friendly and gave us a nice room with balcony that we can sit and chill. Most days were very cold but managed to enjoy the balcony when the sun was out. Location was great, just a short walk from the metro or bus stop. Otherwise, many food options around
Nice and beautiful hotel, perfect location. There is a bar with wonderful cocktails and a good restaurant. The staff is pleasant and professional. It was a lot of fun and we will definitely be back
Loved the hotel. Location was perfect. Service was friendly, the rooms were clean (small, but that’s Paris) and stylish. Would definitely stay again. My only comment would be that we would have loved some snacks (olives, crisps) with our drinks in the bar ;)
The location is perfect for a first time visit to Paris. It was central and close to the big famous museums. I’m not happy with the quality of the room however. The room badly needed maintenance and renovation. The bathroom especially (the cold water faucet was impossible to turn).
I tried the restaurant and it was absolutely amazing! The new Chef, Ohad Amzalleg, truly spoiled us with his delicious creations. Every dish was a treat. The menu is varied and full of great options. Special mention to Ray, the manager, who took great care of us and made the experience even more memorable. And for all the Lebanese out there: if you’re craving the famous “Doudou shot” (vodka, Tabasco...

We loved our stay. Staff takes pride in their work. Great location right next to several metro stops that make the whole city easily accessible. Rooms were small but that’s normal for Paris. AC was a god-send on hot days. Great vibes in the lobby to hang out with free croissants and such. Would recommend!
We had a great stay here! The room wasn’t huge, but it was super modern, stylish, and even had a bit of an artistic vibe. Absolutely perfect. Very clean and very quiet. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Paris.
Forget ideas of the Holiday Inn chain in N. America. This unassuming, little hotel was clean, quiet, well situated and didn't break the bank. Staff allowed us to check in early. There was a bar fridge - so we could stock some fruit to counter all that pastry - and complimentary coffee - so we could sip while we got ready in the morning. I would stay here again.
I liked the location of this hotel in Montemarte area. There's a lot you can see within walking distance. The room was perfectly fine and comfortable with everything in good working order, though it was unseasonably warm when I visited and I couldn't adjust the temperature other than open the window. An old hotel with a great location. The bustling Champs-Elysées is just 200 meters away, and the Arc de Triomphe is a few minutes' walk away. The rooms are very large, clean and comfortable. There is a small garden on the first floor of the hotel, and coffee is provided free of charge. I stayed in Paris for a few days and it was great.

Needless to say, the location is right next to Xiang Street. There is a Chinese restaurant opened by an old Hong Kong couple to satisfy the Chinese appetite. The breakfast in the hotel is also good.
