The space is far too small. The staff is unfriendly, rude, and doesn't explain anything. They charge a much higher city tax than a 5-star hotel... and it's neither luxurious nor 5-star. The only good thing is its location.

Do not stay at this hotel even though it’s located near all attractions. First of all you have to leave your key everytime you go out. Secondly there is a rude old man working at the hotel who has no customers service experience.
The room was on 1st floor narrow steps and the interior was very poor. Needs to be refreshed. Inside is basic but no kettle no fridge. Disappointment to be fair. Our room curtains come off the rail, walls dirty looks horrible and lots of unfinished work. No heating or lack of heating. Dust everywhere and the bathroom was clean but to be honest if you’re not worried about any of this and want a place to lay your head.

Honestly I was nervous bc of all the negative reviews, but I guess maybe some people expect more out of a hotel than I do. The staff was very friendly, and spoke English. The location is amazing! Yes the rooms are small but I’m just sleeping at a hotel not hanging out. The room was clean and yes the stairs are annoying but it’s an old hotel, they aren’t claiming to be the Hyatt. For what you pay it’s worth every penny. I ended up arriving to Paris way earlier than I thought and the staff let me check in early and take an empty room, they then offered to move me the next day to the room I was supposed to have, no need. The room was just enough. Also a plus is they have usb ports so you don’t need to bring an adapter!! If you’re looking for an affordable stay, this is it. Don’t let the bougie 1 star reviews scare you!

Prices compared with the benefits. Hotel a bit outdated. Decor old France and old bourgeoisie : carpet thick red, bedding rattan.

Hotel is in a great location, with a Metro station at its doorsteps. However, the rooms feel old and used. Generally the hotel could benefit from a renovation. The breakfast was also rather modest (1 croissant, half a baguette, gem and coffee/tea) and not worth the asking price even by (poor) Paris standards.
