Ibis Budget Paris Porte de Montmartre in Paris

The hotel is conveniently located near three subway lines. Entry is via a code, which is handy. The room has heating panels – remember to turn them on, or it'll get chilly. The water pressure is great and the water is hot. The surrounding area feels very safe too. (Before I came, I saw some really bad reviews, but honestly, I think it's comparable to a 300-400 yuan room back home in terms of quality.)

The hotel was very good overall, and the location was also decent. The nearest bus stop was only a 3-minute walk away, while access to the underground metro was around 10 to 14 minutes on foot. The tram stop was also within a 10 to 14-minute walking distance. The building itself was nice, clean, and felt fresh.
Separate lockers were available, which could be used by paying a fee, allowing guests to store their luggage even after check-out.
However, the security was not very good. In case of any incident, the staff does not actively help and usually just provide an email address or ask you to contact the police. It’s important to keep this in mind and stay cautious during your stay.

Ibis room was nice. But the beds weren’t the comfiest. Location was good. Train station just down the road. At night though walking home from the train station did feel a bit unsafe.

The facilities are adequate, I mainly chose it for the relatively low price. It's about 500-1000 meters from the subway station, and the room's soundproofing isn't great.

My recent trip to Paris was absolutely magical and exceeded all expectations! We traveled as a couple and spent three unforgettable days exploring the beauty, charm, and history of this incredible city.

Highlights:

• Montmartre & Sacré-Cœur – Loved the artistic vibes, street musicians, and the stunning view of Paris from the top.
• Food – From fresh croissants and macarons to cozy French bistros, every meal was a delight.

Accommodation & Travel: We booked everything via Trip.com – the hotel was centrally located and very clean, and all transportation options were smooth and well-organized. Great value for money and excellent customer support.

Paris truly lives up to its reputation as the city of love. Highly recommend it to couples looking for a romantic getaway, or anyone who wants to fall in love with history, architecture, and amazing food.
