Reviews
From a design standpoint, the property is everything a Relais & Châteaux hotel should be. The aesthetics are rich, moody, and executed with an incredible attention to detail. I typically avoid staying right off the Champs-Élysées area due to the traffic and noise, but this hotel felt like a quiet oasis completely removed from the chaos outside.
What really made our stay memorable, however, was the service recovery. Upon arrival, our room wasn't quite ready. While this could have been a frustrating start, Enzo handled the situation flawlessly. He was attentive, deeply apologetic, and did everything he could to make up for it; ultimately upgrading us to a spectacular suite. His professionalism set a wonderful tone for the trip and he checked in with us on multiple occasions throughout our stay!
If I had to note one area for awareness, it's that the property seemed a bit understaffed at times; we noticed some minor operational friction, like delayed coffee at breakfast, and could tell the team was working hard to keep up. That said, it didn't disrupt our experience or cause any real issues for us.
We only wished we could have stayed longer. We had a lovely time and will definitely be back!
The service was excellent throughout our visit, and the breakfast was delicious with a lot of options. We truly felt welcomed and well taken care of.
From the very first day, there was a serious leak from the bathtub that flooded the bathroom floor. Staff came to remove the water and informed us it would be fixed immediately. Later, maintenance explained that the bathtub curtain was too short and needed replacement. Shockingly, the issue was not properly resolved until THREE days later — almost half of our entire stay, which was only one week.
What upset us even more was the security issue. We had cash stored inside the room safe, protected with a password, yet we later found the safe open and cash missing. This completely ruined our sense of trust and safety during what was supposed to be a special honeymoon trip.
For a hotel presenting itself as a luxury 5-star property, this level of maintenance delay and security failure is simply unacceptable.
We are deeply disappointed with how this experience affected such an important moment in our lives, and we truly expected much better from this hotel.
The most frustrating part is that after reporting the missing cash, management informed us they would conduct an investigation. However, we have still not received any meaningful response or update.
For such a serious issue, the lack of urgency, professionalism, and care shown toward guests is honestly shocking for a 5-star hotel.
However, the breakfast experience was extremely disappointing and significantly let the hotel down.
Day one:
We weren’t given a menu and had to take one from another table. After waiting around 20 minutes with no service, we had to ask how breakfast worked. The server was rude and unhelpful. Loud arguments from the kitchen were clearly audible to guests. After 45 minutes without being served any food, we left. We did not eat at all.
Day two:
Service was quicker from a pleasant young gentleman, but the breakfast itself arrived stone cold.
Day Three:
After raising our concerns, Charles handled the situation professionally and we were told breakfast would be complimentary on the final day in light of the issues.
Despite this, the charge has since been applied to our card — even though our final bill at checkout showed no such charge.
We have also had no contact from the hotel manager, which is disappointing given the circumstances.
A beautiful setting and some excellent staff, but poor management and an unacceptable handling of the breakfast experience overall.
We’ve had a terrible experience at one of our breakfasts and making it the reason for not giving 5 starts.
Nevertheless , we would definitely recommend and come back as well.

Overall, the whole hotel had an incredible luxury feeling, with attention to detail and beautiful Art Deco design elements throughout. Everything from the lobby to the room felt thoughtful and elegant.
I'm already looking forward to the next time I get to stay here.
