Hotel was nice. Lobby and interior felt lovely and historic. Our room was large and comfy. It was hot but we just opened the window. The towel warmer didn’t work.

We ate in La Cours Brasserie and enjoyed an excellent meal with very good and friendly service. Breakfast was extra but gave us a fantastic choice it was hard to choose. We highly recommend Le Grand Monarque Hotel

Did not book parking, which was annoying as hotel valet parking was €15 a day vs €25 in Q parking opposite, not a big issue but their parking did look empty when we drive past. Highly recommend hotel and location

Hotel overall was great, with an exceptionally comfy bed. Shower and bath needed upgrading as bath floor was bouncy when showering and the shower faced the wrong wall (not into the bath)

Do not miss the scrambled eggs for breakfast. The very exclusive indoor swimming pool is also worth a visit

It is a small hotel with friendly atmosphere. The staff are very helpful indeed and make my stay perfect. There are a number of restaurants nearby and you may find your food easily

Excellent hotel in the center of Tours. They have an inhouse parking for 11 euros a night but usually parking is free on weekends and holidays on the street in front of the hotel.

Convenient The room is very clean and the breakfast is a typical Western breakfast The disadvantage is that there are not enough charging ports, or it is in a place where it is difficult to plug in

Just around the block from the train station and less than 20 minutes walking from the Chateau de Tours and the rest of the historic locations

Early on, we required some medical assistance  and the front desk was incredible in not only quickly contacting a taxi and navigating us through this unexpected situation, but since our plans changed and we required a longer stay in Tours, the staff promptly made arrangements to accommodate us

Only because i was able to show a invoice from the Travel agency there did not double charge us. Update: We are now a second time here and the service is amazing, room is very clean and the bed is very comfortable

However my room had a tub w rainfall shower head in its own room, which I much prefer to the open floor showers I kept seeing at other hotels that were part of the room w the bed

SUNDAY OVERNIGHT STAY It was our third stay at this hotel and once again we were not disappointed. The hotel is in a quiet area with free parking and there is a riverside walk nearby. Staff were friendly and welcoming

this venue is located at a junction and it was so easy to walk to get things from food to the supermarket to an Art supply store (yes you read correct) or to the post office and the laundrymat

This was a fantastic Ibis and the service was amazing. Very quiet lobby to get work done as well. Audrey at the front desk was a lifesaver! Lots of outlets if you run out of battery

We stayed for one night during road trip through the Valley. It's a budget-oriented place but we expected that. What makes a budget hotel great is the staff and cleanliness and both were excellent

To have a small moveable table like the ones they use in hospitals on which they put your meals, is not necessarily a good look in a hotel!

It’s outside of Bourges center - which suited me for the purpose of my stay and made daily commutes much more easier and convenient not needing to contest with busy traffic periods or hustling for a car parking space

30 hours but we found a spot just round the corner that cost 1 euro 20 that lasted until 0930 hrs. all the staff we met were most helpful and we would happily stay there again if need be

Decided to stay in a chateau, this looked nice, felt pampered and has a lovely pool. This was a 8 minute taxi from the train station, we did walk to Amboise one day (and taxi back that night)

Great hotel to stay for a night to visit the chateaux in the area

History and Beauty Amboise is a lovely little town that really deserves to be visited and enjoyed. The hotel is a little out of the way, but easily served by Uber.

On our first night, the AC wasn’t working. The staff was very accommodating in changing the room for us very quickly. The staff also gave great restaurant recommendations and even helped us send some post cards back home

Super place to stop, we arrived later than expected and had planned to go for dinner in Amboise. However we ate in the hotel’s Italian restaurant, it was very well priced and lovely food, a bonus.

The building is historical and has a wrought-iron elevator. Rooms are small but tidy, comfortable and clean. Parking possibility in a public garage close by

Great price, great location. Had a Carrefour nearby and is right in front of a bus stop. The only downside is that you can hear the street noises so if you prefer silence, I wouldn’t recommend.

There was also tableware and a kettle. There was no air conditioning, but there was a refrigerator and a fan, so it was not uncomfortable to sleep even in the summer. There were towels, body soap, and welcome water

Ask for the little cart to move your luggage from the car to your room. Rooms are ok, some spacier than others, #306 for example. We had meals around 2 tables -inside - for 10 people… so you have space in that room

Location wise, it’s close to the main attractions in town (Amboise) on foot and it’s calm. If you can’t walk well, take a room close to the entrance/parking

You get a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker (drip, bring your filters), fridge size is decent. Bring your swimsuits (the official French piscine ones)

At the time of visit, we could charge our electric vehicles (gratis) at Chenonceau chateau parking while visiting

Great place to adventure into the city of Nantes Although it is an old building in the center of Nantes, the place have been reconditioned to match the theme of the city: Jules Verne, and it creates a cute atmosphere for the guests

The room is clean, has a balcony, and the price is reasonable. The bed was very comfortable and the room had lots of lights. The location of the hotel is very close to the Cicada Tavern

We had an issue with the shower and we were immediately moved to another room. The heating in the room was not great though. The breakfast had very few options and it was not worth it
