The room are quite okay and has private bathroom and toilet. The breakfast is quite terrible though. I will recommend taking breakfast somewhere else. The walls are quite thin so you can hear others if they are noisy or watching TV.

I had such a pleasant stay here. The owner and his mom are super friendly and nice. The breakfast was also satisfying. They really made me feel like I am home. Hope to be back one day :)

Excellent accommodations - my room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The hotel features fast wi-fi, cable tv and a fantastic breakfast. The owner is extremely helpful and friendly. This may not be the biggest hotel in town but I am convinced it is the best!

Can’t recommend Hotel California enough. The rooms are lavish and spotless; the location is great—very close to the center of town, restaurants, etc. The proprietress is an absolute sweetheart—kind, knowledgeable, fun to talk to! Good facilities but the owner seems to think she is doing you a favour by letting you stay and pay her. She warmed-up by day 2 but I was ready to cancel my booking after her 'welcome'.

Have to rate at 5 - cosy, fantastic atmosphere at place, good rooms, nice, tidy with every accessory provided for the stay. Location is good - near the city centre, 5/7 minutes walk. It is family run, so they really know how to treat and serve the guests. Free wifi, spacy area, terrace with fantastic views, coffee and tea service. And most importantly, they do not hurry guests for the early checkout

Excellent location, tidy rooms with a plethora of beds (we had a double and a bunk bed ;-)). Bathroom is modern and clean, check-in and out was easy and uncomplicated. The host unfortunately did not speak any english, but we had no trouble communicating regardless! Would definitely recommend when staying in the centre of Kutaisi, everything is easily accessable on foot!

Madame Maia is the super star! You will be taken care of like you are her child. I highly recommend Chveni Qalaqi. The room is like a 4 star hotel and its clean. Well done and thank you for a great service.

Hotel was in good location to old town, rooms are spacious and have everything what you need. Our request was met to have rooms close to each other with our kids. Stayed for one night only, but I would definitely come back to this hotel. The view across the river, at the White and Red Bridge and the cable car are nice. In walking distance to city center and central bus station. Breakfast was ok, not a big selection, but enough to fill your stomach.

The balcony viewed the cable car and the Rioni river. Quite place to stat. White bridge is just 5 mins walk away. The staff was welcoming, kind , friendly and helpful. Recommended to stay with family. Morning view over the river was wonderful.

It's a big bungalow house. Mike is super helpful and ever ready to serve. It's like staying in a rich friend's house. The location pinpoint in Google is not accurate and you need to have a car to stay here. Other than that, it's lovely to stay at Mike's place
