Reviews
We arrived in Tbilisi on a Sunday night without a reservation and found this hotel while walking around the center. The receptionist was very kind, polite, and helpful — she even allowed us to check the room before making a decision, which I really appreciated.
The room was clean and organized. There was a light smell, similar to smoke or maybe just a closed room, but nothing serious — once we opened the window, it was fine. I’ve stayed in many different hotels around the world, and for me this was totally normal.
One important detail: the hotel has an elevator, which was very convenient, especially with luggage.
What I really liked is the location — very central, close to everything, which was perfect for us. We paid 100 GEL per night, which is honestly one of the best prices in this area since most other hotels were much more expensive.
My advice: don’t rely only on online reviews. If you have the chance, ask to see the room first. If you like it, stay; if not, just move on. For us, it was a good experience overall and great value for money.
I was told that Room 203 is a 'good room' when I checked in.
The room lacked basic amenities that should be provided. There was no complimentary bottled water, coffee, or tea bags available. Additionally, there were no slippers and no bath mat outside the shower. When I asked the reception about these items, I was simply told that they do not provide them.
Furthermore, the wall outlets have serious connection issues. As you can see in the video, the electric kettle turns off immediately. Even when the reception kindly lent me a smartphone charger, it had the exact same issue. I had to place a handkerchief over the air conditioner remote control to prop up and stabilize the charger just to keep it connected.
While the cleaning lady was incredibly kind and helpful, the lack of basic amenities and the unstable electricity made the stay very inconvenient.
We paid around 1700 GEL for 8 nights and did not stay there. The hotel was in really damaged condition. There was mold, the sink was dirty, and the room smelled very bad. Nothing looked clean or taken care of.
We booked a bigger room, but it was not available when we arrived. They told us we could move to our booked room the next day, which we refused because the conditions were already unacceptable. After that they said no refund.
In the end we only got 31 GEL back from booking.com which is ridiculous compared to what we paid. Totally unfair and unprofessional. Do not recommend at all.
We even offered to pay for one night only and leave, but they did not cooperate at all. Very unprofessional and disappointing experience. Avoid this place.
Bad wasn't comfortable at all, very hard.
Breakfast was also bad, sour milk, very basic.
