"Liva Hotel" in Tbilisi

This is a family-run guesthouse. I booked two terrace rooms, but upon arrival, I realized they didn't actually have terrace rooms; they only had balcony rooms. Balcony and terrace are completely different words. The hotel claimed they received a standard room booking. Ctrip agreed to pay an extra $20 per room for a balcony room, making it over $400 per room. For that price, I could have booked a better room in Tbilisi. I wasted a lot of time and energy, and since there was no terrace, I didn't want to argue anymore. The room was extremely small; two 0.8-meter single beds filled the room. I had to take my suitcase to the balcony to open it. Unfortunately, it rained that night, and the roof leaked, soaking my luggage. The bathroom was tiny; showering was either against the wall or behind a shower curtain, barely enough to rinse off. It's incredibly close to the Holy Trinity Church, offering the best view of the church. The church bells will definitely wake you up at 6 am. The soundproofing is very poor. The stairs are wooden, and there's no elevator. Elderly people or those with heavy luggage should be cautious about booking here. The breakfast was average, and there were two power outages during my stay. I must commend Ctrip's customer service for their dedication and professionalism, providing strong support for travelers abroad.
