Hotel Anata in Tbilisi

My stay at Sonata Hotel was absolutely perfect!

I truly cannot say enough good things about this hotel. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, respected, and genuinely cared for. The staff are incredibly kind, professional, and always smiling — they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home.

The room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable. Everything was well organized and clean, which made my stay extremely relaxing. The facilities and services were excellent, and every small detail was thoughtfully taken care of.

What impressed me the most was the hospitality. The people working here are not just doing a job — they genuinely care about their guests. They were always ready to help, answer questions, and provide anything I needed with a warm and positive attitude.

The location is also great, quiet and peaceful, yet very convenient to reach everything in the city.

I stayed in many hotels before, but Sonata Hotel truly stands out. I felt safe, comfortable, and very happy during my stay. I would absolutely choose this hotel again without any hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Georgia.

Very warm guests and I totally recommend coming to them, they are very friendly and welcoming and amazing breakfast !!

My friend and I had a lovely experience at the hotel:

1. Budget-friendly
2. Clean rooms
3. Free breakfast - for vegetarians like me we could get bread, butter, cheese, jam, some fruits, milk, tea and coffee which was good enough to kickstart the day
4. Closer to the airport. 30 odd minutes
5. Rooms are on the first floor (no lift)
6. Metro station is 8-10 minutes walking

However, the best part about the hotel is the owner (Maia). She is absolutely amazing. Speaks good English, is extremely friendly, helps out with all the stuff that a new visitor needs to know about the city and the country, and does all of it with a big smile. Equally sweet is her Mother who helms the kitchen and ensures the guests are well taken care of during the breakfast time. All in all we had a pretty good time.

This is nice and very cost effective place to stay their staff is very friendly and nice people. They try to provide you almost homely feelings. And importantly they give u only breakfast no lunch and n dinner. But some nice hotels are nearby they will give you all best and cost effective options for food.... And they can also provide you cab service to visit all the georgia in good price... Or can pic you from airport...

It is no easy task reviewing the Anata Hotel because they are so ridiculously cheap that any criticism seems unwarranted. It gets an extra-star for it’s insane value ratio. And it is a great little establishment. But there IS room for improvement. First off let’s get their location out of the way. They are not in the best of areas, but taxis are dirt cheap and quick to arrive. So for me that is not a big issue. But you will not be walking out of your hotel into a charming street in the old-town by any means. You will have to look twice to discover the Anata tucked in amongst old ramshackle houses in a rundown neighbourhood. Personally I feel they need to position themselves just a smidgen higher. By charging a small amount more it would justify little things, like having pepper, and some sauces, at the breakfast table. Or an anti-slip mat in the shower (Room 3 is potentially lethal and there are no hand-rails to assist your precarious entrance to the shower). These small things would massively improve an otherwise good place to stay, and cost very little. The staff are absolutely great and go out of their way to assist you (Especially the well-spoken and knowledgeable Arman), the rooms are sparkly-clean and everything works. So yes it is a good hotel, but it is a short-step away from being great – despite its location. Highly-recommended if you need a safe and clean base to explore Tbilisi on a tight budget.

Kind staff will greet you and will take you up to your room. They are very helpful could answer all the questions we had. The rooms are clean and cozy and there's a wonderful breakfast in the morning.
