Great breakfast room! Outstanding!!

Good management .. everyday fresh fruits waiting for you in room .
Clean .
But don't change towel daily , you need to reuse the towel as much you can . it's just to stop overuse of detergents to protect the environments.

Some old stylish typical German Hotel, clean rooms, slightly old fashioned. Needs refurbishing but price is good.

Great hotel with awesome breakfast buffet. Maybe select the new wing which is quieter.

Friendly helpful staff, were shown to our room, amazing choice at breakfast buffet, rooms, bathrooms and hotel itself are spotlessly clean. Good location to walk into town. Parkhaus 150 metres away. Good value.

Very nice welcome. And not just in German but in English so non German speakers would find it easy as well. Rooms are cozy. Bathrooms need shower curtains and may be a provision of a fan (but again this summer could be an exception), these two things can be considered for little improvement. Breakfast is good but still think a vegetarian or vegan people have less options as everywhere else.

A family owned hotel a few minutes walk from Wernigerode Railway Station. It is regularly visited by people who want to travel on the Hartz steam trains (HSB) and want to be able to walk into town to eat in the many restaurants in the evening.
Wernigerode is easy to get to from the UK either by flying to Hannover or Berlin Tegel airports and then travelling by train with one or two changes along the way. Eurostar and regional trains are options too.
Breakfast is a buffet style with most tastes catered for and is very extensive. Smoking and non smoking rooms are available and WiFi is available in most areas of the hotel, although the signal is not consistent on the top floor. There is limited parking in front of the hotel but there is a public multi storey car park about 50 yards up the road. The area around the hotel is usually very quiet. There are a lot of repeat visitors to this hotel.
