We enjoyed our stay here, the reception was friendly and the hotel was clean and well-maintained. The shower tool a shower to heat up but perseverance helped. Breakfast was good with a selection of cereals, cold meats, cheese and yogurts. There was no lift to get to the top floor. The hotel was in a really good place for visiting the town on foot and the town itself was lovely. We would stay again.

Clean, spacious room with amazing view up the street and Werningerode Schloss so very close upon the hill. V good breakfast and a lovely small sauna you can reserve a time for private use. We appreciated a break from the larger city hotels in Hamburg and Berlin to stay in a small cozy bnb style environment. You can step right out the door to shopping and food. The staff was v sweet and we wished we had more time here. Highly recommend!

The location was perfect and well within walking distance of the town.
The room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the castle from my window.
The breakfast was absolutely amazing and filled you up for the day

We stay overnight and loved the room. Was corner room, big, clean and bright. However it was terrible cold when we arrived and even after few hours. We recommend to management to pre-heat the rooms during auch cold days to give some more comfort to customers.

Friendly staff. Too expensive, compared to similar properties in German tourust areas. Shower cramped with fittings poorly placed.

Good breakfast, and fine bedroom and bath. The streets on three sides of the building are however quite noisy.

Great location. Easy walking distance to Town center. Breakfast not included..9€ but well worth every penny. Hosts very helpful.. Do not speak English though if you do not speak German.
Very clean. Have a free Sauna if you are interested... Beds comfy. Pets allowed, if you wish.

This hotel was clean and quiet and also provided good breakfast. We mostly appreciated them taking extra time to fulfill our dietary requirements.

Nice view, excellent location to arrive at train station or at Weihnachtsmarkt. Delicious breakfast, friendly personel.
