Very good hotel

A very nice hotel, located right on Lake Tegernsee.
We spent a few days there with the kids. Schnitzers Dahoam was our base for several excursions. The owners are very friendly and gave us great tips. And the "golden autumn" is simply beautiful.
There were several guests with dogs. We don't have a dog ourselves, but the dogs were friendly and didn't bother us at all. Our little one was even allowed to play with one of the dogs in the garden and clearly enjoyed herself.
We had originally planned to try the local restaurants in the evenings, but then spontaneously decided to eat at the hotel... Absolutely delicious!
We did this on 3 out of 5 evenings.
We will definitely come back in the summer.

A very nice dog-friendly hotel. We had an all-around wonderful stay at this hotel. The restaurant also impressed us: both breakfast and dinner were excellent. The location is quiet and idyllic, and all major attractions are easily accessible.
We really enjoyed it and will definitely return. We would happily recommend the hotel to anyone.

Very nice location to the center, very good hotel facilities; Both recommended for hikers as well as for families.

Food absolutely great. The wellness area is getting old and will certainly not be maintained due to the planned new construction in 2020. Location is great and for a holiday with dog, the house is very accommodating. Will certainly stop by after the conversion.

The hotel Schnitzer was already a bit old and will definitely be renovated in the near future. Room 21 is not suitable for persons over 1.80cm. Thanks to the many sloping roofs have hit my head several times. Everything was clean, the mattresses of the beds were good. The breakfast is very good. The boss is very friendly and personable.
