Hotel Leeberghof in Tegernsee

Exceptional stay! The hotel is very nicely located with an amazing view at Tegernsee, the staff is very friendly specially Frau Schneider and the lovely breakfast staff.
I booked a room with a lake view and it was the highlight of the trip! The view is breathtaking specially at early morning hours. The hotel itself is a charming typical Bavarian house with great facilities and parking possibility.
The breakfast buffet was delicious and they prepared for me different egg dishes.
Everything was perfect, I hope to visit again soon.

Close to 300 Euro’s a night I expected a lot more. The location is fantastic, with amazing viewpoint. We selected a suite to have opportunity to sit and soak in the lake view, unfortunately despite a large terrace with the room the lake wasn’t visible when seated.

The hotel has lots of communal outdoor seating for the restaurant and bar, alas you need to book to dine there, and as a resident we weren’t informed. In fact the staff laughed in my face when I asked for a table, I asked if it was an option to sit outside? (where already a couple were seated) - No! A later time - No! If the restaurant is that successful and with nothing else located nearby they really should advise residents to book.

The room was nicely furnished, a little tired they could fix the shower, invest in more luxurious towels and bedding. The 2 single beds were average. Breakfast is good, the Prosecco a nice touch, service friendly.

In summary, save your money and appreciate the view by taking a drink whilst walking past on the trail.
