As lovers of peace and nature is us, this hotel exceptionally good. Excellent beds, a kitchen, a finger-licking good, beautiful location, service is surprisingly good and quickly, and as a bonus a flat screen and free Wi-fi. In short, a must.

Loved staying here. We had a family room for 2 adults and 2 teens. Room was a great size and had a comfortable dining area and kitchenette with all you needed. We dined here and food and service was excellent.

Simply great. We stopped over for a late lunch after hiking and it was an amazing choice. For Kürbis (pumpkin) season they have special dishes and they are very tasty. Coffee and cakes were also very delicious. Portion sizes are generous and prices are reasonable as well. The service is attentive and nice. All in all an amazing place. We ate at restaurant. Service and food was great. Waiter was friendly and helpful as we do not speak German. We had spatzel and schnitzel and both dishes were tasty as well as reasonably priced compared to other very average restaurants we have experienced in Black Forest region.

We have had dinner at alte linde. The food was good the service was fine as well. What was a shame is when entering the building, all you smell is sigarets.

This country hotel is a real gem! We felt comfortable from the first minute. The friendliness and courtesy of the staff impressed us every day. At the breakfast buffet there was everything your heart desires. A place to unwind, at least that's what we did every day, for example in the cozy pavilion on the terrace.

You’ll notice that in the Black Forest most restaurants are likely to be situated inside a hotel that’s not always what a traveler wants. So it was pretty cool to find this restaurant catering for different tastes with a good service and the prices are still very competitive. It’s worth a visit when in the area.

This restaurant was one of the few open at 15.00 on Monday in this small town, so we decided to give it a try after a long hike. The staff was kind and served as immediately. The food was very delicious, especially the dish with regional mashrooms.

A very nice chalet-style hotel, 10 minutes from the charming center of Baden-Baden, in a quiet location at the foot of the forest. The room had a terrace, and there was parking right outside. The breakfast was excellent with an extraordinary selection. We highly recommend this hotel.

Very pleasant hotel, very friendly, for the carpet, 1 star deduction. Other: Note, important, if you want dinner and don't have a reservation as a hotel guest, you can't eat here. I didn't know that because it isn't written anywhere either. I arrived at 7:30 p.m., so I had to look around first in the closer area.

Friendly and trained staff, excellent dinner when booking half Board, the Breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired, large indoor pool, small Sauna. We have just toured the Black Forest on our bikes all the way from the UK We stayed here so we would be at the start of the B500 What a great place , spotlessly clean, food 100% and the Chef & team were absolutely spot on .. Anyone who leaves a 1 star review clearly hasn’t worked in hospitality .. We had a 1700 mile round trip and stayed here for 3 nights .. We will be back for sure 🏍🏁🍺

Traditional restaurant a short walk from the funicular base station. Full of locals it seemed which is always a good sign. We stopped for some cake as our accommodation host recommended it. I also had a goats cheese salad which was excellent.

I did not stay in the hotel so I cannot talk about the rooms or hotel part of Waldcafé. However, the restaurant is brilliant. There is a really nice outside eating area which is very pleasant when the sun is out. The food is very great, the service very quick and the people were very nice. If you're on your way to Merkurberg or even on your way down, make sure to make a stop !

Amazing food average prices great value for money

Very nice staff, and excellent food on mornings and on evenings. Some places were bit hot, with a lack of ventilation, but it doesn't feel like a deal breaker. This was a very nice surprise that we can recommend.

This is one of my favourite hotels in the Black Forest, have stayed here several times now while I’m touring Europe. The food in the restaurant is great and the staff are friendly, the rooms are comfortable both the double rooms and the bijou single rooms. I am planning on returning next year for my 6th time of staying here.

Great experience We had a 3 nights stay at Hotel Lamm, during our 3 weeks tour around Germany, this was honestly the best 3 nights. Room was spacious, it was very clean & the service was top. We ate in in the onsite restaurant all nights and food was good, breakfast was equally amazing.

Had a wonderful visit to Hotel Lamm. We stayed one night at the hotel and had an overall very good experience. The staff were really friendly and happy to help with any questions. It was great that we could have dinner at the hotel restaurant. In the morning, the breakfast was also perfect, with a variety of options. Rooms can be booked either in the hotel (with a private bathroom) or in the hostel section (with a shared bathroom).

Lovely, intimate, excellent space. What a cute inn to start our trip in Germany. Absolutely loved the town of Baiersbronn and the hotel staff were very kind and helpful. The balcony in each room is a wonderful touch. Bathrooms are very compact, but have everything you need. Excellent accommodations for the price.

Cons: limited space for serving food in the restaurant, always crowded. No pre-cut vegetables and a limited selection of sweet pastries (only croissants and biscuits). Room cleaning was average; bed linens were not changed during our 9-day stay. Pros: spacious rooms with balconies, air conditioning, refrigerator, coffee machine, excellent pool and saunas, and beautiful interiors.

The hotel is average at best and I feel once we go to Baden-Baden realised there were many better places to stay. The best thing about the hotel was the massive room size and its balcony. But there were many problems - the water temperature in the showers was not consistent, there no acs so the rooms are very hot, etc During our stay there was also construction nearby so it was extremely.

This hotel is a wonderful place to stay with great views, an attentive staff, and excellent breakfasts. The rooms are a nice size and the balcony is a perfect place to relax. It is close to downtown with the town center just a short walk away. Went back 6 months later for dinner and as always was a very enjoyable experience. Food and service were excellent.

Great room and location. It is on a hill so walking may be difficult for some people. I liked the quiet and the view. Wifi worked and parking was free.

Great location. Amazing views. Nice room. Slept super well. Only complaint was the shower was very hard to get to the right temperature—it was either cold, or scalding hot.
