We stayed at the hotel for four nights. Lovely room, great location at the top of Sommelberg, next to funicular, so getting into town and back up is easy. Lovely hiking and biking trails, great food, great hospitality.

The food prices are very reasonable considering just how large the servings are. For example, the pepper steak came with fries, potato salad hidden under a veggetable salad (that’s right, two sides of potato) as well as a huge knob of herb butter. Very good value for money! The hotel is not the most modern, but it is well maintained and clean. The breakfast buffet offers a classic selection and the quality of the products is impeccable. Slightly dated hotel but helpful staff Only stayed one night so experience was limit. A slightly strange layout as reception on top floor but parking at bottom. This country hotel is a real gem! We felt comfortable from the first minute. The friendliness and courtesy of the staff impressed us every day. Perfect hotel. Well above most 3* hotels and even cheaper. Great rooms great food and great service.

We have just toured the Black Forest on our bikes all the way from the UK We stayed here so we would be at the start of the B500 What a great place , spotlessly clean, food 100% and the Chef & team were absolutely spot on .. Anyone who leaves a 1 star review clearly hasn’t worked in hospitality .. We had a 1700 mile round trip and stayed here for 3 nights .. We will be back for sure 🏍🏁🍺

I did not stay in the hotel so I cannot talk about the rooms or hotel part of Waldcafé. However, the restaurant is brilliant. There is a really nice outside eating area which is very pleasant when the sun is out. The food is very great, the service very quick and the people were very nice. If you're on your way to Merkurberg or even on your way down, make sure to make a stop !

This is one of my favourite hotels in the Black Forest, have stayed here several times now while I’m touring Europe. The food in the restaurant is great and the staff are friendly, the rooms are comfortable both the double rooms and the bijou single rooms. I am planning on returning next year for my 6th time of staying here.

Great experience We had a 3 nights stay at Hotel Lamm, during our 3 weeks tour around Germany, this was honestly the best 3 nights. Room was spacious, it was very clean & the service was top. We ate in in the onsite restaurant all nights and food was good, breakfast was equally amazing.

Lovely, intimate, excellent space. What a cute inn to start our trip in Germany. Absolutely loved the town of Baiersbronn and the hotel staff were very kind and helpful. Cons: limited space for serving food in the restaurant, always crowded. No pre-cut vegetables and a limited selection of sweet pastries (only croissants and biscuits). The hotel is average at best and I feel once we go to Baden-Baden realised there were many better places to stay. The best thing about the hotel was the massive room size and its balcony. But there were many problems - the water temperature in the showers was not consistent, there no acs so the rooms are very hot, etc During our stay there was also construction nearby so it was extremely.
