Deva Hotel Alpenhof in Bayrischzell

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️We are very happy that we stayed in Hotel Alpenhof for 4 nights :), and would like to come back again!

- first of all it has a great location, just 15 minutes driving distance to Sudelfeld skiing center.
- and, my kids (ages 2 and 5) were extremely happy about our stay there, as the playing room was bigger than they expected, and had attractive games to them. After dinner and breakfast, playing room was a “must” activity for them for every day.
- additonally, the swimming pool with snowy mountain view was also nice and relaxing activity :)
- the meals (we had halb-pension) were well prepared and always delicious, exceeding our expectations from an “already paid” amenity. The food was always fresh, very tasty therefore we felt like being in a good restaurant, not a halb-pension prepaid hotel.
- last but not least, everyone working in the hotel was extremely polite, helpful and they always had a big smile in their faces. We even thought that they are the owners of the hotel, not the employees. They are the reason making us feel eating in a fancy restaurant and enjoying whole 4 days in the hotel.
- the building& decoration does not seem to be brand new, I must admit. But it never bothered us, as we did not have such kind of an expectation from the hotel and the positive aspects I mentioned above made us extremely happy&satisfied about the hotel.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Family Stay at Hotel Alpenhof – Perfect for Kids!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Alpenhof near Tegernsee – it’s truly a fantastic choice for families with children. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and everything is thoughtfully designed for families.

Our kids loved the indoor playground and the indoor heated pool, which were perfect even on rainy days. The staff is friendly and always attentive, making sure everyone feels at home.

The food is very good, with a nice variety at breakfast and dinner. When the hotel is full, it can sometimes take a bit of time for the buffet to be refilled, but the quality and taste definitely make up for it.

Overall, Hotel Alpenhof offers a perfect mix of comfort, family fun, and Bavarian charm. We would definitely come back!

Having stayed in many hotel-casino resorts in Las Vegas, I was pleasantly surprised to discover this 5-star +++ hotel and spa in Bavaria!! The accommodations are  fantastic! The room is clean and equipped with modern updates, and it has spectacular views! The all-inclusive breakfast was stellar! The lobby was clean. Our hostess went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed with an inviting atmosphere!

The spa includes a heated swimming pool, wet and dry saunas, and cave-like showers. Awesome views of the surrounding mountains. Even though we didn’t travel with infants, I noticed cribs for them to rest while parents enjoy the spa facilities. The play room in the bottom floor was a lot of fun! I includes a jungle gym, an air hockey table, a basketball game, a sub-soccer footsie game, 2 foosball tables, and a ping-pong table. Many loungy bean bags surround the room. It's truly an area for of all ages to play. The outside green spaces were well kept and inviting.

The resort itself in conveniently located in the area. There are stylish touches in every corner. I feel like I got a slice of Las Vegas luxury and hospitality right here. All in all, I’d definitely stay at this place again. 😊 Enjoy!!

A lovely hotel in a superb location for access to Lakes and mountains. It is fairly remote so good for peace and quiet but not much in the way of nightlife. Some staffing issues meant that the dining service was slow and the bar wasn't attended to properly. However, the quality of food and drink was very good. Our room and all public areas were very clean and well provisioned.

Lovely place to stay.
We decided to choose this hotel because it fits very well with our MTB tour.
The location is surrounded the mountains with beautiful nature. The hotel provides wellness facilities to relax after a very tiring day of travelling. There is sauna and a large swimming pool. The dinner menu is delicious, the menus and dessert are quite tasty.
Service people are very helpful and friendly.
The room are very comfortable with a "goodnight's" free of charge pillow menu as an additional service that promises healthy sleeping during staycation.
In the backyard there's a garden to enjoy the view. Also a safe place to store bikes with lock.

If I were to only rate the people and the service, I would have given it a five star review. The food was great, the service too.

If you get a chance to get the pasta with steinpilz (a type of mushroom) - just do it. Oh-my-god.👌

The only thing I didn’t like, was that there was no air condition in the room, and since our room was on the ground level, we couldn’t sleep with the window wide open. The room became really warm during the night, making it impossible to get a good nights sleep. But then again - how often is Bavaria as hot as it were when we were here? I don’t know.

The location, the people and the food makes this a great stop. I’d do it again (and hope for a room on a higher floor).
