Guest Houses in Munchen

This is my new favorite hotel in Munich. A kind of hotel you don’t find in many places anymore. A small, welcoming and authentic, family run hotel in a beautiful building with rich history. The rooms are simple but spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast excellent and the service very friendly and accommodating for their guests.

the location is good - near the university and a train station on the corner. downtown is just 2 train stops away. the room itself is comfortable because the weather was good. There were 2 single beds that are pushed together. It has a private bathroom and shower. The bathroom is recently tiled and is clean. No air conditioning but we didn’t need it. Under the bed and in the corners were a bit...

Absolutely FANTASTIC hotel! I almost never write reviews on Google, but Tanja and her team deserve it. The building had such character, in a wonderful area with beautiful views of LMU and the Siegestor. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, and the free breakfast was outstanding. Plus, the team went above and beyond to be helpful, with flexibility on check-in and check-out and little extras that...

Clean rooms, great location. Multiple toilets/showers per floor, more than enough for the rooms. Delicious breakfast and great service. The location can't be beat - 5 minutes from the English Garden, 2 minutes from the subway, easy access to the old town. The only issue was the parking, I had to search a bit for a spot, ended up a couple of minutes away from the hotel. That said, there are many spots...

Pension am Siegestor is a great base for exploring Munich. The room was large and comfortable, and we were made to feel very welcome. The breakfast was the icing on the cake... a large spread of breads, cheeses, meats, yoghurt, cereals as well as lots of delicious homemade jams, and more that we were too full to try! We'll definitely stay here again next time we are in Munich.

I’m an Italian student who came to Munich for a three-month work placement. Finding a good place from Italy was not easy, but then I discovered Pension Belo Sono, and everything went perfectly. Martina took care of everything and made me feel at ease from the beginning. The apartment is fully equipped, very comfortable, and spotless. Martina is always available and incredibly helpful. I highly recommend...

My partner and I stayed at Pension Belo Sono in a one bedroom apartment in July 2023. The location is perfect, it’s close to the central bus station and many eateries. The apartment is modern, spacious, comfortable beds, extremely clean and light filled. Martina was very friendly on our arrival and provided recommendations for dinner spots. We had an issue with a parcel of souvenirs we were trying...

Really spacious room with shared kitchen, balcony and bathroom. However, we never saw anyone else! It was really quiet too. The street had a great bakery, shop, restaurants and bars. We really enjoyed our stay.

location: close to metro station. very quiet area. surprise: room upgraded for free is really a big surprise! room: clean, big enough(with kitchen and separated washroom) wifi: really quick speed

Clean room, bathroom shared but maintains very clean. Good location with lots of restaurant and breakfast.

Great place to stay in a nice location The Pension Belo Sono it was a good option to stay in Munich. We got the local neighborhood feeling and we are few minutes from the metro that was really helpful. We could find good coffee places, restaurants and small groceries stores in the area so we were not worried to go back after a long walking day and still try to find a place to eat. The bedroom was...

Okay, let's start with the positives. The location is really good. The Viktualienmarkt is practically around the corner, and the city center, English Garden, Eisbach – everything is within walking distance. The breakfast is good and can easily compete with larger hotels. Unfortunately, the coffee machine broke down on the first morning, so there was no coffee during my stay. The hotel has no elevator...

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding. My only complaint is, I wish they had blackout curtains. The curtains were thin and an opaque white which I'm sure someone at night could see our shadows looking in if we had that light on. That's not the main problem. Our room was in some sort of alley that had a motion sensor floodlight. That light would go on constantly...

The hotel is in a great location if you are looking to attend christmas markets. The listing does say there is no elevator, however it says there is only 2 floors. However, when we arrived we had to walk to the 4th floor with our bags and no elevator. This would have been fine if we had been expecting it. The hotel is quite dated but the rooms were very clean. The tv in our room didn't work, and it...

Room was clean. Nice breakfast. You get what you paid for. Location was great. We arrived around 7pm, the key was left for us taped to the outside door of the building. Would stay again, except for the fact if the same and only key opens the building door for everyone and your room, so it can open any other room. I wouldn't feel safe, if someone stumbles in your room after trip to Hofbräuhaus (only...

No elevator and many stairs to climb to room And no amenities in room. Eg. shampoo , soap. No hair dryer

Excellent location. Three blocks from the main square. The metro stops right on the corner of the hotel. The beds are very comfortable. The room is exactly as it appears in the photos.

Great location and cozy pension. Rooms are neat and clean; staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, and always provided a great start to the day.

Location is unbeatable, right off of Marienplatz. Christoph is the friendliest German I've ever met, and so helpful with recommendations of places to eat and things to see. Absolutely recommended!

Absolutely wonderful! Christoph is a very pleasant and helpful host. The rooms were very well-kept, and the location can't be beat.

Very friendly owner and staff, good breakfast and service, within walking distance of station Marienplatz, which is on the direct line (S8) from the Airport.

I had such a wonderful time during my visit. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, and Mr. Amar Nath provided the best service with a great smile. Thank you!

We had an amazing time. The staff was super friendly and would answer any question we had. The rooms: spacious and clean with a/c. Food: 5/5 stars. Safaris amazing, the guide hired by the hotel was really good (ask for Balaram if you can)! We were perfectly happy and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Had an excellent stay here. Thank you Pension Mona Lisa for having me - I hope to be back next year! Be sure to visit Sitar down stairs! Excellent Indian cuisine.

We really like that hotel. We defenetly recomend you visit if you stay in Munich. Staff was very kind to us. The hotel is located very close to the English garden and also river. Room and also the bathroom was clean. Check in and check out process was very quick and smooth.

Wifi was a little spotty, and the entrance was a little confusing (there's not a typical reception desk, just the Indian restaurant). However overall, the room was what we wanted, a bed, bathroom, some Internet access for navigating and review lookup. We had some issues because we accidentally booked a single room but had two people, make sure your reservation is correctly booked everyone.
