A bit outdated interior but very comfy beds and clean

My wife and I stayed at this hotel, booked by a friend, and it completely exceeded our expectations! We usually stay at a nearby four-star hotel when we come to Munich, but it was fully booked this time, so our friend recommended this five-star. The cost wasn't much more than the four-star, but the upgrade in quality was well worth the slight price difference. We were extremely satisfied!

This hotel offers direct subway access, is close to the city center, and the S8 line from the airport goes straight to the hotel. It's convenient for both dining and shopping.

Great size and location - easy to learn after a couple of days. Very close to city centre.

The hotel itself isn't in the busiest part of town, but there are some small restaurants and bars nearby. The metro station and a supermarket are right downstairs, which makes getting around, shopping, and general living really convenient. The price is also quite affordable.

Hotel staff opened our door twice in the morning at around 8am well before check out timing for no reason. Hotel also did not provide water and we had to buy a bottle of water from th store in the lobby for 4euros????

1 of the reception counter reluctant to help to reheat packed food from supermarket nearby. Being told only for staff only. Luckily we try again and another staff assist to reheat the food. Overall stay is quite pleasant and like the location. Able to travel all M zone areas with weekly ticket. Via tram , train and bus.

This was my second stay here. Due to it being winter, it offered better value for money than in China. The breakfast was plentiful and filling, and I appreciated the separate shower and toilet.

The staffs were so kind and they graded up my room up. Because the location was a bit far, transportation costs were unavoidable, which was a little annoying.

The room wasn't big, but the location was good. We stayed on the first floor, and it felt a bit cramped and the interior decor was a little dark.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and as always, the location is great – right in the city center, making it convenient to get anywhere. The beds are very comfortable, and the rooms are quite spacious for European standards.

Nice hotel, nice rooms. Only downside was the check in process which took over 20 minutes. We were in a bit of a rush so this was a little stressful.

Overall a very good stay, but a few details were disappointing for a five-star hotel: no toothbrush or toothpaste in the room, no bottled water (only tap water), and a very small and poor equipped fitness area.

At Hotel Bayerischer Hof, the check-in process was extremely delayed, and I did not receive my room until 3:30 p.m. My luggage was also delivered very late, arriving in the room close to 4:00 p.m. The service lacked professionalism and showed little care for guests. The staff should improve their performance, as this delay caused me to arrive late to the Oktoberfest event.

Beautiful historic hotel with many amenities and things to do. We throughly enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. Everything is within walking distant of the hotel within a few blocks, dining, cafes, trollers, shopping, even has a theatre. The views from the rooftop bar were the perfect nightcap.

The hotel is amazing! Staff were outstanding, especially Ben Said from Tunisia. They upgraded us to a spacious, classic-style room with a separate dressing room and option for a connected room. The hotel is in a very convenient location, close to the subway and supermarkets. The staff were welcoming, and the rooms were large and clean. However, the room lighting felt a bit too dim, and housekeeping was not included during our stay—cleaning services were available only for an extra fee.

This hotel is more like an apartment-style accommodation, with cleaning services only provided for stays of seven days or more. The room was well-equipped with a washing machine, a small kitchen, and a refrigerator. There are also shops and restaurants downstairs, making daily life and dining very convenient. Finding accommodation with a washing machine while traveling in Europe can be a hit or miss...

Hotel was perfectly located for train and bus stations. Staff were friendly and helpful. Piano bar was a really relaxing place after days sightseeing. Gym could have had been better-didn’t have enough free weights for my like - didn’t use the pool. Overall a lovely stay and will recommend.

The rooms were really nice and clean the design of them was also very modern and easy on the eyes. The location seems far away from the city centre; however, it is very easy to navigate with the public transport. But of course it takes more time rather than staying somewhere close to the centre.

Clean room, loved the layout. Would have been nice to have a small fridge but oh well. Slept very well, it was nice and quiet. Hotel has a little "store" with snacks, drinks, and other knick knacks. My husband lost his toothbrush and had to purchase one at this hotel. He said it was a fair price and the best toothbrush he's ever used! I would stay here again.

Our stay was a highlight of a recent two week trip. One unexpected great moment - we needed a tailor for extensive work on a dress for which we needed a very fast turnaround. The hotel has a tailor on staff and the work was completed in three hours start to finish! Excellent service!

Very Clean and nice rooms but unfortunately stripped bare of any amenities. Didn't even have coffee in the room.

I saw reviews mentioning the shower water temperature fluctuating between hot and cold, and I experienced it too. It seems to be a common issue. Everything else was fine.

The room facilities themselves weren't really an issue, but the soundproofing was terrible. I could hear everything from the next room, especially doors opening and closing. To make matters worse, the guests next door were incredibly noisy at night. They'd come back at 3 or 4 AM every day, talking loudly, singing, and banging on the door. I barely got any sleep.

This room type is very close to the elevator, so the constant opening and closing of the elevator was quite noisy. The room itself, however, was quite good.

Someone knocked on our door in the middle of the night. I had no idea who it was, and they weren't speaking German. After I loudly asked who it was, they just said "towels." It was really scary. After we reported it to the hotel, they gave us a drink voucher.

The hotel's location is super convenient, right outside Nordfriedhof U-Bahn station. It's really easy to get to Allianz Arena or Marienplatz on the U6 line. The hotel facilities are very modern, there's a water dispenser in the lobby, and the rooms come with a capsule coffee machine.

The hotel is not so far from the train station and easy accessible to supermarkets and restaurants. Bed was comfy however the air-conditioning wasn't working very well and very light blowing. We have to open the windows to sleep at jight because the aircon wasnMt strong enough
