A bit outdated interior but very comfy beds and clean
My wife and I stayed at this hotel, booked by a friend, and it completely exceeded our expectations! We usually stay at a nearby four-star hotel when we come to Munich, but it was fully booked this time, so our friend recommended this five-star. The cost wasn't much more than the four-star, but the upgrade in quality was well worth the slight price difference. We were extremely satisfied!
Hotel staff were friendly and the hotel overall was absolutely okay! Good breakfast.
The location is a bit outside the city center but there is a subway station a 5 minute walk away. It’s a solid choice at which to stay, but a few things troubled me. I choose Westin because of its consistent “Heavenly“ comfort bedding. While the mattress was comfortable, the pillows were not standard Westin issue and they were very uncomfortable, not firm or supportive enough. (And I’m not that picky...
As a Marriott Bonvoy member, my expectations are naturally shaped by the consistently high standards of the brand. Choosing Marriott, and especially Westin, usually means attention to detail, care for the guest, and a certain level of excellence — and I must say that this stay fully confirmed it. From the very first moment, the entire staff was exceptional. The check-in experience was warm and professional...
Nice location , nice service . Lounge access and pool were a blast for my 8 year old.

We had a very good experience here at the le meridien hotel munich! We were greeted warmly by the receptionist, alex miller. I remembered him clearly because of his warm and welcoming demeanor. He gave very good restaurant recommendations ( all were very delicious - attached is the list) and went above and beyond!! Kudos to him. Perhaps the only thing missing was toileteries amenities which were...
The hotel has a great location, excellent facilities, and comprehensive services.
I had booked it in advance, so I couldn't change it.
The staff is extremely professional, helpful and polite. Our stay was amazing courtesy the amazing services of the buffet at breakfast and the housekeeping. We would love to come back to Munich only to experience the hospitality of Le Méridien. Great location and accessibility.
Stayed at Le Meridien Munich 2 years ago, and we had a very good experience and sweet memory while staying there. And in this holiday we came back to Munich, bring our whole family to explore more about Munich, and decided back to this hotel, because of the previous experience. And again we all are very satisfied. All the staffs were again very very friendly, the room was very clean, the breakfast...

Hotel Bayerischer Hof, Munchen1 / 30

Munchen, Promenadeplatz 2-6, Altstadt-Lehel (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The renovation works on lobby area are extensive and inconvenient. Entrance to hotel further along and via side door. Up a flight of stairs to a temporary reception. Took ages to check in. Room ok, but aircond fan noisy. Clean room. Small bathroom. Nightclub downstairs is ok. Live music. How this was still £400 for one night stay I am unsure. The works finish before Christmas, they said. I have...
At Hotel Bayerischer Hof, the check-in process was extremely delayed, and I did not receive my room until 3:30 p.m. My luggage was also delivered very late, arriving in the room close to 4:00 p.m. The service lacked professionalism and showed little care for guests. The staff should improve their performance, as this delay caused me to arrive late to the Oktoberfest event.
We really appreciated the service at night. Mr Salim Ouannas was friendly, respectful and helpful. He gave us great tips and made our stay more enjoyable.
Beautiful historic hotel with many amenities and things to do. We throughly enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. Everything is within walking distant of the hotel within a few blocks, dining, cafes, trollers, shopping, even has a theatre. The views from the rooftop bar were the perfect nightcap.
The hotel is amazing! Staff were outstanding, especially Ben Said from Tunisia. They upgraded us to a spacious, classic-style room with a separate dressing room and option for a connected room. They even installed a bidet spray in the bathroom and helped return our rental car. The location is quiet and perfect for relaxation, with very comfortable beds and pillows. Highly recommended!
Service was impeccable, room was very nice. I was impressed with the large size of the room as typically in Europe you encounter smaller rooms. The bathroom was very generous. I had a room that wasn't renovated and the modern colors and wished I did but otherwise the stay was outstanding. Concierge was amazing even arranging a private driver for me at very last minute. The Spa wasn't at a 5star level...

The environment is very good and the location is excellent. The bathroom's adjustable temperature is a great design.
Great location, but the room is a bit small.
I'm using the hotel for a meeting with a business partner from Munich. Here's a brief summary: It's not possible to drive directly to the hotel, as a Christmas wine stand seems to be more important. Waiting for a free parking space took more than 5 minutes. The service there was excellent. In the lobby, it took a 10-minute wait to get a table for a meeting at lunchtime. The table had to be cleared...
An amazing HOTEL! A real Palace! The best location in Munich! Very well renovated! An exceptional breakfast, a unique atmosphere at the lobby bar and an unbeatable service!
The rooms were comfortable and well maintained, offering a good standard of quality. Nothing ultra luxurious, but they do a good job. What really affected my stay, however, was the constant issue with the key cards. Almost every day during my week-long stay, I had to return to reception three or four times to have the cards reactivated. It became tiring and frustrating, especially when returning to...
Our stay was a highlight of a recent two week trip. One unexpected great moment - we needed a tailor for extensive work on a dress for which we needed a very fast turnaround. The hotel has a tailor on staff and the work was completed in three hours start to finish! Excellent service!

Rocco Forte The Charles Hotel, Munchen1 / 30

Munchen, Sophienstraße 28 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
We just stayed at The Charles Hotel in Munich and honestly had a really great experience. The service was top notch without ever feeling stiff. Every single staff member we interacted with was genuinely kind and helpful. The concierge in particular was incredible — they were able to get us tickets to the FC Bayern match with zero hassle, which made the whole trip even more memorable. The rooms were...
Nice location, great rooms, good restaurant — but some important issues: Room assignment I requested a quiet room when making the booking. At check-in, I was initially assigned a room overlooking a busy street with traffic. When I asked whether my request had been received, I was told: “Yes, but we don’t have any courtyard-view rooms — let me see what we can do.” Two minutes later, I was offered another...
We had a lovely three day stay at The Charles. Amazing team members, large rooms and great breakfast. In-room dining wasn’t the best but the service more than made up for that! Best location in all of Munich.
Excellent hotel a service is top notch from the moment you check in, using the spa, room service, dining, housekeeping, etc. everyone is very helpful an attentive to the needs of the guest. Great location.
We had a wonderful stay at the hotel in Dec 2025. We arrived at the hotel tired from a long flight and they were so nice to have upgraded our room to a suite with a nice view. Following that we had dinner with their inhouse restaurant where the food, service and the ambiance was impeccable. Gulia, our server made us feel at home and made it a memorable dinner. When checking out, their staff was very...

Hotel München Palace, Munchen1 / 30

Munchen, Trogerstrasse 21 (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
This was a very nice property, the rooms were clean and the service, from the moment we arrived was excellent. The breakfast was fantastic but you will pay 45 euros if you don’t get the room package.
It was a lovely hotel and the staff was very courteous. The food was very good. The only problem we experienced was our inability to regulate the heat/temperature in our room. One minute we are sweating, so we opened the door and the next it was freezing. The staff was not able to help with this issue.
I was not expecting to stay in a room that appeared to be for an ADA guest.
A beautiful hotel close to the Isar River and an easy walk to the Altstadt. The River has a very nice running and biking trail next to it which is great for exercising no matter the season.
Very few shops be aware of the details there write up on their location is misleading it is not close to most things if you walk taxis are very expensive. The Frebch restaurant fell down on delivering quality food ie the french onion soup was a disaster The front of hotel staff were great
Wonderful staff—extremely helpful and welcoming. We woke up on St. Nicholas day with a bag full of treats outside our door. Great location, away from the touristy, crowded areas but close to lovely restaurants and shops. The bus and tram stop all within one block and you can use them to get to any location in Munich.

Mandarin Oriental, Hotel, Munchen1 / 30
8.7
Munchen, Neuturmstraße 1, Altstadt-Lehel (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The Mandarin Oriental never disappoints, and its service is particularly outstanding. From the front desk to the restaurants, housekeeping, and concierge, every aspect is impeccable; feeling at home is a true experience. There's a bakery downstairs that opened in 1703—the prezels with butter are absolutely delicious! The Barn café on the corner is great and very popular in Berlin.
Breakfast eggs not delivered as ordered and were on the rubbery side. Disappointing.
Construction in-front of hotel, workers start drilling early in the morning.
Construction site across the street made it very noisy. Otherwise a first rate hotel and property.
The hotel's location is excellent because it is in an important area in Munich, two steps from the famous Maximilian Street. The hotel staff and workers are very friendly, the place is comfortable and quiet, and the service is excellent.
Excellent service. By far the best service ever of any hotel. Expect greatness and you will receive the ultimate treatment. Friendly and knowledgeable staff will go out of their way to make this the best experience!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this hotel. A stone throw to many shopping and sightseeing places.
This is just an average hotel. The room is small, but it's in the city center with convenient transportation. For over 3,000 yuan, even the cleanliness is poorly maintained. There was a spider crawling on the sheets, but no apology, just a commonplace attitude. I asked to change rooms, but the front desk told me they didn't have a similarly priced room and I'd have to pay extra. ***This is completely...
The location is excellent and the place is clean. It's located in a building, so it might be hard to find at first. The hotel is small, with few staff, and service can be slow at times. There's no doorbell, so I often hear knocks on the door.
Warm and lovely, good breakfast. Convenient location.
Advantages: The Ctrip details for the single room say the bed is 0.8 meters long, but it is actually over 1 meter long; the location is unparalleled, right next to the grain market, not only close to the Marienplatz subway station, but also only a few minutes' walk to the old and new town halls, St. Peter's Church, Frauenkirche, Holy Spirit Church, Asam Church, and Munich Palace. Disadvantages: As...
The hotel exceeded expectations. Fruits and snacks were given as gifts when checking in. Soft drinks in the minibar were free. The front desk service was also very warm! The bathroom in the room had floor heating. The location was unbeatable. The old town hall at Marienplatz and St. Peter's Church were a few minutes' walk away. The area nearby was very suitable for shopping. Munich was the last stop...
