Nice hotel, nice rooms. Only downside was the check in process which took over 20 minutes. We were in a bit of a rush so this was a little stressful.

Overall a very good stay, but a few details were disappointing for a five-star hotel: no toothbrush or toothpaste in the room, no bottled water (only tap water), and a very small and poor equipped fitness area.

Located very near the train station and within walkable distance to Marienplatz

The in-room kettle was faulty. I reported it to the front desk as soon as I checked in, but it was never resolved, even up until my departure.

At Hotel Bayerischer Hof, the check-in process was extremely delayed, and I did not receive my room until 3:30 p.m. My luggage was also delivered very late, arriving in the room close to 4:00 p.m. The service lacked professionalism and showed little care for guests. The staff should improve their performance, as this delay caused me to arrive late to the Oktoberfest event.

We really appreciated the service at night. Mr Salim Ouannas was friendly, respectful and helpful. He gave us great tips and made our stay more enjoyable.

Beautiful historic hotel with many amenities and things to do. We throughly enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. Everything is within walking distant of the hotel within a few blocks, dining, cafes, trollers, shopping, even has a theatre. The views from the rooftop bar were the perfect nightcap.

The hotel is amazing! Staff were outstanding, especially Ben Said from Tunisia. They upgraded us to a spacious, classic-style room with a separate dressing room and option for a connected room. They even installed a bidet spray in the bathroom and helped return our rental car. The location is quiet and perfect for relaxation, with very comfortable beds and pillows. Highly recommended!

This was a very nice property, the rooms were clean and the service, from the moment we arrived was excellent. The breakfast was fantastic but you will pay 45 euros if you don’t get the room package.

It was a lovely hotel and the staff was very courteous. The food was very good. The only problem we experienced was our inability to regulate the heat/temperature in our room. One minute we are sweating, so we opened the door and the next it was freezing. The staff was not able to help with this issue.

I was not expecting to stay in a room that appeared to be for an ADA guest.

A beautiful hotel close to the Isar River and an easy walk to the Altstadt. The River has a very nice running and biking trail next to it which is great for exercising no matter the season.

Very few shops be aware of the details there write up on their location is misleading it is not close to most things if you walk taxis are very expensive. The Frebch restaurant fell down on delivering quality food ie the french onion soup was a disaster The front of hotel staff were great

Wonderful staff—extremely helpful and welcoming. We woke up on St. Nicholas day with a bag full of treats outside our door. Great location, away from the touristy, crowded areas but close to lovely restaurants and shops. The bus and tram stop all within one block and you can use them to get to any location in Munich.

The Mandarin Oriental never disappoints, and its service is particularly outstanding. From the front desk to the restaurants, housekeeping, and concierge, every aspect is impeccable; feeling at home is a true experience. There's a bakery downstairs that opened in 1703—the prezels with butter are absolutely delicious! The Barn café on the corner is great and very popular in Berlin.

Breakfast eggs not delivered as ordered and were on the rubbery side. Disappointing.

The hotel's location is excellent because it is in an important area in Munich, two steps from the famous Maximilian Street. The hotel staff and workers are very friendly, the place is comfortable and quiet, and the service is excellent.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and as always, the location is great – right in the city center, making it convenient to get anywhere. The beds are very comfortable, and the rooms are quite spacious for European standards.

The room was big enough for two and clean. We arrived much before check-in time though, the staffs helped us. Thanks to this, we spent time comfortably till check-in time. On the other hands, wifi In our room is quite weak. It is only negative point.

The hotel is located in a quiet area, and I really appreciated how clean the facilities were! The free Wi-Fi speed was also quite decent. However, I stayed for 4 nights, and it was a bit disappointing that only one bottle of water was provided.

The location is quiet yet central, in a safe area, and within walking distance of the city center. Good value for money.

Very Clean and nice rooms but unfortunately stripped bare of any amenities. Didn't even have coffee in the room.

I saw reviews mentioning the shower water temperature fluctuating between hot and cold, and I experienced it too. It seems to be a common issue. Everything else was fine.

The room facilities themselves weren't really an issue, but the soundproofing was terrible. I could hear everything from the next room, especially doors opening and closing. To make matters worse, the guests next door were incredibly noisy at night. They'd come back at 3 or 4 AM every day, talking loudly, singing, and banging on the door. I barely got any sleep.

The rooms are clean and tidy, suitable for both business and leisure travelers.

This room type is very close to the elevator, so the constant opening and closing of the elevator was quite noisy. The room itself, however, was quite good.

Someone knocked on our door in the middle of the night. I had no idea who it was, and they weren't speaking German. After I loudly asked who it was, they just said "towels." It was really scary. After we reported it to the hotel, they gave us a drink voucher.

Feels great, very convenient for getting around, and the breakfast was excellent too.

The hotel itself was fine, no issues there. However, the description on Ctrip is misleading. This hotel is definitely not within walking distance of the city center or any exhibition halls; it would take well over an hour to walk.

The location is really good for getting to places shop 2 minutes walk and gym and spa was really good

The hotel's location is super convenient, right outside Nordfriedhof U-Bahn station. It's really easy to get to Allianz Arena or Marienplatz on the U6 line. The hotel facilities are very modern, there's a water dispenser in the lobby, and the rooms come with a capsule coffee machine.

Stayed 7 nights. Business hotel type. Expect minimum service. Full of people in breakfast room everyday. (One staff was particularly rude. One time, she scolded me for bringing the water bottle to my table because my hands were full and was not capable of pouring water.) It was very small room for family. Very bad smell from room.

- Family room is too small, no refrigerator, location is not good but ok, room service also is not good + Reception employees are very helpful, we had a medicine that requires a refrigerator and they helped us with that, also water boiler was not working, they helped us and send a new one. Room service didn't change dirty cups, but reception guy provided clean cups very quickly.

Very accessible from the station with McDonald and grocery store at ZOB. Tram station right next to the hotel. The breakfast place is very spacious, with plenty choices. The room itself is also quite spacious compared to other hotels with similar prices.

The service was excellent, and the room was soundproof, very comfortable, beautiful, and spacious. It was also very clean. The breakfast offered a great variety. It's just a short walk to a station where you can catch a train to the airport and the city center, making transportation very convenient. It's also not far from the main train station. The hotel is great. The lobby is very clean, and the front desk staff speak English and are very patient. They even specifically noted our request for twin beds. The lady at the front desk also helped us with our transportation questions. The room is spacious, and the breakfast offers a good variety.

Stayed there for the New Year’s Eve and a few days before that. It was clean and tidy, rooms a bit dated but could live with it. Near to train station but needed to walk up the slope a bit. Lift not working at the station for 2 days out of the 4 days when wewere in Munich.

Excellent hotel! It's conveniently located near the train station, perfect for inter-city travel. The city center is a pleasant 2km walk away. The hotel itself is very nice!

Just a five-minute walk from the train station, which is super convenient if you're catching a train. There are also plenty of cafes nearby for breakfast, so you don't really need to opt for the hotel's breakfast. Plus, they give you two free bottles of mineral water when you check in.

My experience at this hotel was very good! The room was immaculate and most of the service at the restaurant/bar was very pleasant. The welcoming staff at the counter were very helpful as well.

Excellent stay! The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly, and the location was perfect—close to shops and public transport. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel.

Very near munich hbf, room is spaceous.. however, toilet amenities were not sufficient. Housekeeping told me that shower gel was out of stock.

The only real negative is the distance from the airport and the expensive cab ride. Also getting to the centre of the city from the hotel is far away. Also no overnight laundry service is a nuisance. And there isn’t a laundromat anywhere near. The staff, cleanliness of the facility, breakfast buffet is exemplary.

I like the location of the hotel, bus stop is right in front and there’s a supermart within short walk.

Excellent! Just the breakfast was mediocre.

Not far away from the tram station which can lead you to central railway station and all the tourist spot( but I take 30 mins to central bus station which is quite far) . The service is good and provide still water daily

We stayed here for 3 nights. Our room was not cleaned, despite having informed the reception counter a night before. Room is basic, do not feel like 4 star hotel

The front services was great and friendly. Mattress is comfortable and clean. Only few mins from train stop, convenient to travel from airport

Clean rooms, good breakfast. Staff always available to help. They have real benefits for members of the loyalty program. Cleaning only upon request. Temperature is hard to manage. Tends to get overheated in the room, especially the bathroom. Maintenance staff could improve attention to detail: if you’re cleaning the room, you need to restock toilet paper, not just the towels / linens. Odd incident...

It's worth the price. Very close to the train station and the staff are nice although we were staying during the new year eve.
