A bit outdated interior but very comfy beds and clean
My wife and I stayed at this hotel, booked by a friend, and it completely exceeded our expectations! We usually stay at a nearby four-star hotel when we come to Munich, but it was fully booked this time, so our friend recommended this five-star. The cost wasn't much more than the four-star, but the upgrade in quality was well worth the slight price difference. We were extremely satisfied!
Hotel staff were friendly and the hotel overall was absolutely okay! Good breakfast.
The location is a bit outside the city center but there is a subway station a 5 minute walk away. It’s a solid choice at which to stay, but a few things troubled me. I choose Westin because of its consistent “Heavenly“ comfort bedding. While the mattress was comfortable, the pillows were not standard Westin issue and they were very uncomfortable, not firm or supportive enough. (And I’m not that picky...
As a Marriott Bonvoy member, my expectations are naturally shaped by the consistently high standards of the brand. Choosing Marriott, and especially Westin, usually means attention to detail, care for the guest, and a certain level of excellence — and I must say that this stay fully confirmed it.
From the very first moment, the entire staff was exceptional. The check-in experience was warm and professional...
Nice location , nice service . Lounge access and pool were a blast for my 8 year old.

This hotel offers direct subway access, is close to the city center, and the S8 line from the airport goes straight to the hotel. It's convenient for both dining and shopping.
Great size and location - easy to learn after a couple of days. Very close to city centre.
The hotel itself isn't in the busiest part of town, but there are some small restaurants and bars nearby. The metro station and a supermarket are right downstairs, which makes getting around, shopping, and general living really convenient. The price is also quite affordable.
Location is central to Munich City. The hotel is attached to a shopping arcade and train station, which is super convenient. Staff are friendly and responsive. The room was quite small, and the bed could be more comfortable. Otherwise a good stay overall
Hotel staff opened our door twice in the morning at around 8am well before check out timing for no reason. Hotel also did not provide water and we had to buy a bottle of water from th store in the lobby for 4euros????
I had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Munich! The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of the city center, so it was perfect for sightseeing and exploring. There are plenty of great, good-value food options just around the corner, which made dining easy and enjoyable.
The hotel itself was very clean and well maintained and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout...

Fantastic stay! Great location, modern rooms, and amazing amenities.
I am absolutely thrilled with my stay at H4 Hotel München. Getting to the hotel from the Main Station (Hauptbahnhof) and Marienplatz is very quick and easy.
One of the best things is the location—right across the street is Riem Arcaden, a massive shopping center. It has huge Edeka and Rewe supermarkets, and honestly, the choice...
Excellent hotel! We'll definitely come back here next time we're traveling together. It's very close to the exhibition hall, making it a great place for business trips. I highly recommend it to everyone. Had a fantastic experience!
New facilities, excellent cleanliness, elegant environment, and great service. Parking is convenient too. It's much more spacious and brighter than a 4-star hotel in the city center. I'll definitely choose this hotel for future business trips.
We loved it! Walking distance to the mall and restaurants. They provided food and a bed for my furbaby.
Stayed for two nights, and surprisingly, no one cleaned the room. However, there's a kettle in the room, which is a nice touch! The location is indeed excellent if you're in Munich for an exhibition.
I stayed here during a business trip. The hotel's location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the exhibition center, and there's a large mall nearby with plenty of dining options. However, the hotel itself is quite old and the facilities are outdated. Plus, they don't offer any room service, which makes it terrible value for money. If the price were lower during exhibition periods, it would be...

The Hotel is very well maintained. Rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. Location is not too far from city Center, it’s walkable. There is a supermarket right opposite of the hotel, it’s very convenient. Breakfast spread is very good

There is a parking space right below the hotel. Standard Hilton style hotel
Great Hotel, Great location, great staff, it has an underground metro station under it with direct connection to the city center and airport. Very expensive parking and no enough amenities. Old hotel buildings
The location is very ground just above metro station
The room is clean and large. The location is near train and city center. It has Lidl supermarket, restaurant, DM, also Chinese restaurant near hotel.

Not bad, good downtown location.
Had an excellent stay! The breakfast was great and the hotel is in a good location for going to Bayern Munich games. Also a special thanks to Marc at the front desk as well as the rest of his colleagues who work at the front desk who helped me alot with an order I was placing to another hotel where I couldn’t overcome the language barrier
Too far from everything. First room smelled of smoke, front desk person got me a new room same floor. Thank you for that. People just smoke like chimneys in this place. You can smell it constantly. House keeping changed over room daily but twice forgot creamer for coffee. Its literally the only thing that really pisses me off staying in hotels 250 nights a year. Balconies are absolutely gross with...
Pros - Excellent location close to tram and U which takes you approximately 20 minutes to city center and Hbf.
- good gym.
- safe and comfortable neighborhood where you can do supermarket and asian food right behind the hotel.
Cons - needed to ask for shower room amenities and even wrote on the paper, nobody cared. I lacked the body soap for 2 nights out of 6.
- balcony was dirty.
- room was spacious...
New and clean rooms, can't ask for anything more for this price point. Smooth check in as well.
1 of the reception counter reluctant to help to reheat packed food from supermarket nearby. Being told only for staff only.
Luckily we try again and another staff assist to reheat the food.

The hotel has a great location, excellent facilities, and comprehensive services.
I had booked it in advance, so I couldn't change it.
The staff is extremely professional, helpful and polite. Our stay was amazing courtesy the amazing services of the buffet at breakfast and the housekeeping.
We would love to come back to Munich only to experience the hospitality of Le Méridien. Great location and accessibility.
Stayed at Le Meridien Munich 2 years ago, and we had a very good experience and sweet memory while staying there. And in this holiday we came back to Munich, bring our whole family to explore more about Munich, and decided back to this hotel, because of the previous experience.

The room wasn't big, but the location was good. We stayed on the first floor, and it felt a bit cramped and the interior decor was a little dark.
This is my second time staying at this hotel, and as always, the location is great – right in the city center, making it convenient to get anywhere. The beds are very comfortable, and the rooms are quite spacious for European standards.
The room was big enough for two and clean. We arrived much before check-in time though, the staffs helped us. Thanks to this, we spent time comfortably till check-in time. On the other hands, wifi In our room is quite weak. It is only negative point.
The hotel is located in a quiet area, and I really appreciated how clean the facilities were! The free Wi-Fi speed was also quite decent. However, I stayed for 4 nights, and it was a bit disappointing that only one bottle of water was provided.
The location is quiet yet central, in a safe area, and within walking distance of the city center. Good value for money.
Novotel Munchen City is a well maintained hotel. The room is clean & has everything we need. The sofa bed also already well prepared to a bed for our kids when we checked in. Nice hotel, nice rooms. Only downside was the check in process which took over 20 minutes. We were in a bit of a rush so this was a little stressful.
Overall a very good stay, but a few details were disappointing for a five-star hotel: no toothbrush or toothpaste in the room, no bottled water (only tap water), and a very small and poor equipped fitness area.
Located very near the train station and within walkable distance to Marienplatz
Lovely hotel! Lots of great amenities. Very business orientated hotel. Lovely front desk staff (especially Alexander).
The in-room kettle was faulty. I reported it to the front desk as soon as I checked in, but it was never resolved, even up until my departure.
Very well thought out room design. Love the location as well!

The renovation works on lobby area are extensive and inconvenient. Entrance to hotel further along and via side door. Up a flight of stairs to a temporary reception. Took ages to check in. At Hotel Bayerischer Hof, the check-in process was extremely delayed, and I did not receive my room until 3:30 p.m. My luggage was also delivered very late, arriving in the room close to 4:00 p.m. The service lacked professionalism and showed little care for guests. The staff should improve their performance, as this delay caused me to arrive late to the Oktoberfest event.
We really appreciated the service at night. Mr Salim Ouannas was friendly, respectful and helpful. He gave us great tips and made our stay more enjoyable.
Beautiful historic hotel with many amenities and things to do. We throughly enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. Everything is within walking distant of the hotel within a few blocks, dining, cafes, trollers, shopping, even has a theatre. The views from the rooftop bar were the perfect nightcap.
The hotel is amazing!
Staff were outstanding, especially Ben Said from Tunisia.
They upgraded us to a spacious, classic-style room with a separate dressing room and option for a connected room.
They even installed a bidet spray in the bathroom and helped return our rental car.
The location is quiet and perfect for relaxation, with very comfortable beds and pillows.
Highly recommended!
Service was impeccable, room was very nice. I was impressed with the large size of the room as typically in Europe you encounter smaller rooms. The bathroom was very generous. Very Clean and nice rooms but unfortunately stripped bare of any amenities. Didn't even have coffee in the room.
I saw reviews mentioning the shower water temperature fluctuating between hot and cold, and I experienced it too. It seems to be a common issue. Everything else was fine.
The room facilities themselves weren't really an issue, but the soundproofing was terrible. I could hear everything from the next room, especially doors opening and closing. To make matters worse, the guests next door were incredibly noisy at night. They'd come back at 3 or 4 AM every day, talking loudly, singing, and banging on the door. I barely got any sleep.
The rooms are clean and tidy, suitable for both business and leisure travelers.
This room type is very close to the elevator, so the constant opening and closing of the elevator was quite noisy. The room itself, however, was quite good.
Someone knocked on our door in the middle of the night. I had no idea who it was, and they weren't speaking German. After I loudly asked who it was, they just said "towels." It was really scary. After we reported it to the hotel, they gave us a drink voucher.

Feels great, very convenient for getting around, and the breakfast was excellent too.
The hotel itself was fine, no issues there. However, the description on Ctrip is misleading. This hotel is definitely not within walking distance of the city center or any exhibition halls; it would take well over an hour to walk.
The location is really good for getting to places shop 2 minutes walk and gym and spa was really good
Facilities: Brand spanking new!
Cleanliness: Decent.
Location: Pretty convenient, there's a Lufthansa bus to the airport and the subway to the city center is very close by!
Service: Quite similar to what you'd find in China, really excellent!
The hotel's location is super convenient, right outside Nordfriedhof U-Bahn station. It's really easy to get to Allianz Arena or Marienplatz on the U6 line. The hotel facilities are very modern, there's a water dispenser in the lobby, and the rooms come with a capsule coffee machine.

I'm using the hotel for a meeting with a business partner from Munich. Here's a brief summary: It's not possible to drive directly to the hotel, as a Christmas wine stand seems to be more important. Waiting for a free parking space took more than 5 minutes. The service there was excellent.

An amazing HOTEL! A real Palace! The best location in Munich! Very well renovated! An exceptional breakfast, a unique atmosphere at the lobby bar and an unbeatable service!
The rooms were comfortable and well maintained, offering a good standard of quality. Nothing ultra luxurious, but they do a good job.
What really affected my stay, however, was the constant issue with the key cards. Almost every day during my week-long stay, I had to return to reception three or four times to have the cards reactivated. It became tiring and frustrating, especially when returning to...

We only stayed one night at the hotel. Our room was on the first floor and was very quiet. I don't like showers with bathtubs, but unfortunately there was one. Stayed 7 nights. Business hotel type. Expect minimum service. Full of people in breakfast room everyday. (One staff was particularly rude. It was very small room for family. Very bad smell from room.
- Family room is too small, no refrigerator, location is not good but ok, room service also is not good
+ Reception employees are very helpful, we had a medicine that requires a refrigerator and they helped us with that, also water boiler was not working, they helped us and send a new one. Room service didn't change dirty cups, but reception guy provided clean cups very quickly.

We had an amazing family stay here. The room was very clean, modern, spacious and comfortable — it really felt like home. The beds were excellent and everything smelled fresh and well cared-for.

First time to stay in a 5 star hotel that doesn’t offer toiletries. Excellent location nearby to the train station
Around 40min by underground to city centre. But, at least close to an underground station. The station is unmanned so you'll have to use the machine to get tickets. The location is fantastic! There's so much to do around here, and you'll find a supermarket, breakfast shops, and pharmacies nearby, which is super convenient. It's affordable too, offering great value for money.
Great value for the money.
We really liked the breakfast, there was a wide variety of foods, something different every day.
The rooms are a little small, but enough for 2 people.
The WIFI was surprisingly good.
Great location, very close to the metro station and just a few stops away from the city center.
Considering the hotel’s price range, the television in the room felt unacceptably outdated. I have stayed in considerably cheaper accommodations that offered far better TVs, so this came as a real surprise. In 2026, a smart TV should be a basic expectation. Additionally, I would also recommend adding clear signage at the balcony door to indicate the raised step, as it is easy to miss and could pose...
