A bit outdated interior but very comfy beds and clean
My wife and I stayed at this hotel, booked by a friend, and it completely exceeded our expectations! We usually stay at a nearby four-star hotel when we come to Munich, but it was fully booked this time, so our friend recommended this five-star. The cost wasn't much more than the four-star, but the upgrade in quality was well worth the slight price difference. We were extremely satisfied!
Hotel staff were friendly and the hotel overall was absolutely okay! Good breakfast.
The location is a bit outside the city center but there is a subway station a 5 minute walk away. It’s a solid choice at which to stay, but a few things troubled me. I choose Westin because of its consistent “Heavenly“ comfort bedding. While the mattress was comfortable, the pillows were not standard Westin issue and they were very uncomfortable, not firm or supportive enough. (And I’m not that picky...
As a Marriott Bonvoy member, my expectations are naturally shaped by the consistently high standards of the brand. Choosing Marriott, and especially Westin, usually means attention to detail, care for the guest, and a certain level of excellence — and I must say that this stay fully confirmed it. From the very first moment, the entire staff was exceptional. The check-in experience was warm and professional...
Nice location , nice service . Lounge access and pool were a blast for my 8 year old.

This hotel offers direct subway access, is close to the city center, and the S8 line from the airport goes straight to the hotel. It's convenient for both dining and shopping.
Great size and location - easy to learn after a couple of days. Very close to city centre.
The hotel itself isn't in the busiest part of town, but there are some small restaurants and bars nearby. The metro station and a supermarket are right downstairs, which makes getting around, shopping, and general living really convenient. The price is also quite affordable.
Location is central to Munich City. The hotel is attached to a shopping arcade and train station, which is super convenient. Staff are friendly and responsive. The room was quite small, and the bed could be more comfortable. Otherwise a good stay overall
Hotel staff opened our door twice in the morning at around 8am well before check out timing for no reason. Hotel also did not provide water and we had to buy a bottle of water from th store in the lobby for 4euros????
I had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Munich! The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of the city center, so it was perfect for sightseeing and exploring. There are plenty of great, good-value food options just around the corner, which made dining easy and enjoyable. The hotel itself was very clean and well maintained and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout...

Fantastic stay! Great location, modern rooms, and amazing amenities. I am absolutely thrilled with my stay at H4 Hotel München. Getting to the hotel from the Main Station (Hauptbahnhof) and Marienplatz is very quick and easy. One of the best things is the location—right across the street is Riem Arcaden, a massive shopping center. It has huge Edeka and Rewe supermarkets, and honestly, the choice...
Excellent hotel! We'll definitely come back here next time we're traveling together. It's very close to the exhibition hall, making it a great place for business trips. I highly recommend it to everyone. Had a fantastic experience!
New facilities, excellent cleanliness, elegant environment, and great service. Parking is convenient too. It's much more spacious and brighter than a 4-star hotel in the city center. I'll definitely choose this hotel for future business trips.
We loved it! Walking distance to the mall and restaurants. They provided food and a bed for my furbaby.
Stayed for two nights, and surprisingly, no one cleaned the room. However, there's a kettle in the room, which is a nice touch! The location is indeed excellent if you're in Munich for an exhibition.
I stayed here during a business trip. The hotel's location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the exhibition center, and there's a large mall nearby with plenty of dining options. However, the hotel itself is quite old and the facilities are outdated. Plus, they don't offer any room service, which makes it terrible value for money. If the price were lower during exhibition periods, it would be...

A lot of restaurants near by the hotel. 20 minutes walk to Marian platz Check in and check out is fast
The Hotel is very well maintained. Rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. Location is not too far from city Center, it’s walkable. There is a supermarket right opposite of the hotel, it’s very convenient. Breakfast spread is very good The hotel parking garage is quite expensive. There is a parking space right below the hotel. Standard Hilton style hotel
Great Hotel, Great location, great staff, it has an underground metro station under it with direct connection to the city center and airport. Very expensive parking and no enough amenities. Old hotel buildings
The location is very ground just above metro station
The room is clean and large. The location is near train and city center. It has Lidl supermarket, restaurant, DM, also Chinese restaurant near hotel.

Not bad, good downtown location.
Had an excellent stay! The breakfast was great and the hotel is in a good location for going to Bayern Munich games. Also a special thanks to Marc at the front desk as well as the rest of his colleagues who work at the front desk who helped me alot with an order I was placing to another hotel where I couldn’t overcome the language barrier
Too far from everything. First room smelled of smoke, front desk person got me a new room same floor. Thank you for that. People just smoke like chimneys in this place. You can smell it constantly. House keeping changed over room daily but twice forgot creamer for coffee. Its literally the only thing that really pisses me off staying in hotels 250 nights a year. Balconies are absolutely gross with...
Pros - Excellent location close to tram and U which takes you approximately 20 minutes to city center and Hbf.   - good gym.  - safe and comfortable neighborhood where you can do supermarket and asian food right behind the hotel. Cons - needed to ask for shower room amenities and even wrote on the paper, nobody cared. I lacked the body soap for 2 nights out of 6.  - balcony was dirty. - room was spacious...
New and clean rooms, can't ask for anything more for this price point. Smooth check in as well.
1 of the reception counter reluctant to help to reheat packed food from supermarket nearby. Being told only for staff only. Luckily we try again and another staff assist to reheat the food. Overall stay is quite pleasant and like the location. Able to travel all M zone areas with weekly ticket. Via tram , train and bus.

This was my second stay here. Due to it being winter, it offered better value for money than in China. The breakfast was plentiful and filling, and I appreciated the separate shower and toilet.
Just steps away from the subway station, making your commute incredibly convenient. The breakfast here is absolutely delightful.
The hotel was clean and tidy, and the environment was good, very close to the subway entrance. However, the service at the reception was limited; checking in and dining required long waits in line. As for facilities, the bathroom in the room was too noisy. The elevators were slow, leading to long waiting times. The restaurant also had insufficient capacity, resulting in long queues and waits for meals
The staffs were so kind and they graded up my room up. Because the location was a bit far, transportation costs were unavoidable, which was a little annoying.
Overall is good standard good environent hotel. Just share one point if they can improve their attitude in front desk.
Staff are super nice and helpful, great facility with laundry and a big restaurant, close to subway station bmw museum and park.

The room was clean and very spacious, and it was quiet at night, which made for a good sleep. I always stay here and will continue to do so. Check-in was very convenient, the service was great, and the internet speed was fast.
During Oktoberfest, their prices were really reasonable. The hotel is a bit out of the way, but there's a subway station right outside, which is convenient. However, when we arrived, the parking lot was full and we were told to find our own parking spot, which was really inconvenient. Also, all the restaurants nearby are quite a distance away. Other than that, everything else was fine; the hotel breakfast...
Room and front desk guys are nice. There is one guy in the restaurant that has been extremely rude and requested other two Arab-looking costumers and me (East Asian looking) to wait and queue and then went on to small chat with German costumers. Another Asian looking waitress was really nice and led me to the seat and the two Arab looking guys seemed to decide to leave. I don’t like this at all and...
Location is good, close to subway system. Staff is friendly. Very close to the Olympic Park with a nice view.
The air around the hotel is fresh and it's very clean. It's also super close to the subway station, making it convenient for getting around. Overall, it's great value for money. However, it was freezing cold! I can't believe how cold the room was, and the ventilation system in the bathroom was full of dust.
Great location, right next to bus and subway stations, and very close to Olympic Park. The surrounding buildings are all modern, and the room was clean. However, the bathroom really fell short; it wasn't very good.

The room wasn't big, but the location was good. We stayed on the first floor, and it felt a bit cramped and the interior decor was a little dark.
This is my second time staying at this hotel, and as always, the location is great – right in the city center, making it convenient to get anywhere. The beds are very comfortable, and the rooms are quite spacious for European standards.
The room was big enough for two and clean. We arrived much before check-in time though, the staffs helped us. Thanks to this, we spent time comfortably till check-in time. On the other hands, wifi In our room is quite weak. It is only negative point.
The hotel is located in a quiet area, and I really appreciated how clean the facilities were! The free Wi-Fi speed was also quite decent. However, I stayed for 4 nights, and it was a bit disappointing that only one bottle of water was provided.
The location is quiet yet central, in a safe area, and within walking distance of the city center. Good value for money.
Novotel Munchen City is a well maintained hotel. The room is clean & has everything we need. The sofa bed also already well prepared to a bed for our kids when we checked in. At Hotel Bayerischer Hof, the check-in process was extremely delayed, and I did not receive my room until 3:30 p.m. My luggage was also delivered very late, arriving in the room close to 4:00 p.m. The service lacked professionalism and showed little care for guests. The staff should improve their performance, as this delay caused me to arrive late to the Oktoberfest event.
We really appreciated the service at night. Mr Salim Ouannas was friendly, respectful and helpful. He gave us great tips and made our stay more enjoyable.
Beautiful historic hotel with many amenities and things to do. We throughly enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. Everything is within walking distant of the hotel within a few blocks, dining, cafes, trollers, shopping, even has a theatre. The views from the rooftop bar were the perfect nightcap.
The hotel is amazing! Staff were outstanding, especially Ben Said from Tunisia. They upgraded us to a spacious, classic-style room with a separate dressing room and option for a connected room. They even installed a bidet spray in the bathroom and helped return our rental car. The location is quiet and perfect for relaxation, with very comfortable beds and pillows. Highly recommended!
Service was impeccable, room was very nice. I was impressed with the large size of the room as typically in Europe you encounter smaller rooms. The bathroom was very generous. I had a room that wasn't renovated and the modern colors and wished I did but otherwise the stay was outstanding. Concierge was amazing even arranging a private driver for me at very last minute. Right by the train station, so it's super convenient. The front desk staff were friendly, and even though it's central, it's not on the main street, so it was really quiet. The room was clean and tidy, not luxurious, but cozy enough. I slept really well, and the price was reasonable. Highly recommend!
A decent hotel near the train station with convenient transportation. The room size is acceptable, but the mattress isn't very comfortable. It's a good choice if you're not too picky about your accommodation.
Perfect situation, easy to park your car, large room with classy furniture, easy acces to the swimming pool and view on the rooftop.
Excellence location. Very good breakfast. Staff is very friendly with good services. We forgot mobile phone when checkout, staff helped us.
The hotel is located very close to the train station, but the room (at least the one I had) was quiet as it was facing the inside area. There is a nice small swimming pool included in the room price on the last floor, open from 6 am to 11 pm. The staff was kind and fast

Very Clean and nice rooms but unfortunately stripped bare of any amenities. Didn't even have coffee in the room.
I saw reviews mentioning the shower water temperature fluctuating between hot and cold, and I experienced it too. It seems to be a common issue. Everything else was fine.
The room facilities themselves weren't really an issue, but the soundproofing was terrible. I could hear everything from the next room, especially doors opening and closing. To make matters worse, the guests next door were incredibly noisy at night. They'd come back at 3 or 4 AM every day, talking loudly, singing, and banging on the door. I barely got any sleep.
The rooms are clean and tidy, suitable for both business and leisure travelers.
This room type is very close to the elevator, so the constant opening and closing of the elevator was quite noisy. The room itself, however, was quite good.
Someone knocked on our door in the middle of the night. I had no idea who it was, and they weren't speaking German. After I loudly asked who it was, they just said "towels." It was really scary. After we reported it to the hotel, they gave us a drink voucher.

Feels great, very convenient for getting around, and the breakfast was excellent too.
The hotel itself was fine, no issues there. However, the description on Ctrip is misleading. This hotel is definitely not within walking distance of the city center or any exhibition halls; it would take well over an hour to walk.
The location is really good for getting to places shop 2 minutes walk and gym and spa was really good
Facilities: Brand spanking new! Cleanliness: Decent. Location: Pretty convenient, there's a Lufthansa bus to the airport and the subway to the city center is very close by! Service: Quite similar to what you'd find in China, really excellent!

Overall the hotel was great. The room was nice and clean, reception and restaurant staff were great. Breakfast was amazing. Paeking is super. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The only thing that could be improved is the reception staff—they could be a bit more friendly and welcoming socially at first. With that improvement, it would be an even better experience.
The hotel industry in Germany is not very developed at all, and I consider this hotel in this category also, but I dont blame the industry it is because of the regulations and other factors. The location is good, about a 1.5-kilometer walk to Maria Square, a 20-minute walk. The surrounding area is quiet. The rooms are small but very clean. I stayed for three nights and it was quite nice.
It was a very good experience staying here. Clean, comfortable room, excellent service, a great kitchen for preparing meals, close to the metro station, and for those who like to walk, you could reach Marienplatz on foot. Check-in and check-out were super easy. We recommend it.
Overall, everything is fine. The hotel isn't new, but the rooms are clean and cozy. The beds are comfortable, as is the rest of the furniture. There are outlets next to the bed and interesting nightlights that can be directed in any direction. The kitchen has an interesting design, including a folding faucet. It's compact and functional. The ability to leave luggage is also useful.
Clean, well-equipped, everything you need is available in a very small space, friendly welcome, €18/night/car in the very narrow, winding underground parking garage – SUVs should be careful. We would love to come back.

It is located in a quiet area. The rooms are very spacious with modern design. The hotel is very clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. I paid a special price, but it really is worth the money. However, the hotel is away from city center and there are no restaurants nearby.
