Inexpensive hotels in Munchen

Proper sized rooms for a 1 person long term stay. Clean and well kept on arrival. Air conditioning controls are not intuitive. Kitchenette sufficient for whatever small amount of cooking is done in the room

If you leave the garage during that time to run errands and then return later in the evening, you are charged another €20, even if you have already paid for that period. I found that a bit disappointing

Great hotel. The rooms are comfy and nice. The showers are the open style, which can get water on the floor. The breakfast is one of the best ones I've had. I recommend staying here.

All the staff were exceptionally friendly and clearly explained all the important details upon arrival. We had booked a room with a kitchen. The room was very clean and well-equipped

A great size room with a sitting area and a small kitchenette. Also a large shower and bathroom. We also really enjoy the breakfast buffet every morning

Lovely, spacious and luxurious apartment with views of the city away from the chaotic touristy areas but conveniently accessible by bus or train. Surrounded by nice cafes for your morning cuppa. Definitely recommended

Hotel was very new and everything was perfect. It’s very near to the train and subway from airport or to the city. Nearby there is a DM and REWE to buy your daily need and you can cook in the room

We went to Munich to enjoy the Euro 2024. The hotel is very well located. The WestendStrabe metro station is only 200m away, allowing easy access to all part of the city. The room was of very good quality, clean

The bathroom had days with really bad smell coming from the pipes. The breakfast is very basic but good. Nearby the hotel there are not so many restaurants but there is grocery stores and shops to buy in

The room and bathroom were clean and well-maintained. However, I did notice a couple of minor issues: the soap dispenser in the shower was empty, and there was a stain on the pillowcase

The use of space in each room allows just a bit of space for a human to move freely. But if your needs are simple, it could work. Could be cheaper if you ask me but my bet is the market drives that more than ergonomics

Very centrally located. And with a direct bus connection to the main train station. Generally very clean. However, the hotel could definitely use a renovation. The facilities were fine, but very dated.

I live near the Leonardo hotel and my parents and grandparents always stay here when visiting. The employees are very friendly and accommodating and the location is great as well

For a solo traveler - the room was great ! Bed and pillows were comfy, room was very clean in a nice quiet area. The walk to old town is lovely and fairly quick, same to the parks and train stations

Good hotel, seamless check in and polite staff at reception. The rooms are air conditioned and the bathrooms were clean. Enough towels were also given. :) Will recommend without a doubt

Great location, relatively clean – but the air conditioning was broken, the toilet lid was extremely wobbly, the shower head holder was also unsteady, and the shower temperature setting was unavailable because the right outer cover of the knob was apparently broken or missing

Only negative point; the parking in front of the hotel looks like a construction site in the late afternoon, the parking fills up with buses and vans. A lot of builders, who probably work in the area, stay the night here

The hotel is quite standard and clean. The water in the shower is too small and there is basically nothing else provided in the room except towels. The biggest attraction is the supermarket downstairs

Stayed here for 2 nights during Oktoberfest and it was great. So close to the Moosach station and so quick to get to the centre of Munich, so many bakery’s and shop nearby. I would come back

On a positive note, the staff were exceptionally kind and upbeat, which really enhanced our experience. Despite a few minor design issues, the hotel met our basic expectations and left a good impression

Awesome location, a terminal station for tram and U-Bahn, making you always have a seat. Room is compact as expected, since it's good for its price. Staff provided a new one which is even better

The location is very close to the tram and the Moosach interchange. The room was quite clean, but the carpet smelled like urine.

The water pressure in the shower was quite low, and the toilet being separated from the main bathroom area felt inconvenient

Next door to the hotel is a student apartment with a small kitchen and kitchenware for simple cooking. There are Aldi and APZ supermarkets within walking distance, as well as a Chinese restaurant The room has a balcony

The access to the city was not very convenient, and the free Wi-Fi connection was unsatisfactory.

The room is clean and tidy, but there is no washing machine. Those who need to do laundry will have to go downstairs to the washing machine (at their own expense).

Late check-in after 10pm was no problem due to their convenient key-safe system (I requested this per Email). Parking in the area was easy enough to find (I believe they also have paid parking available)

We stayed here for 4 nights, went to Switzerland for 10, then returned here for another night before flying out. The staff was extremely friendly & allowed us to keep a bag there while we were gone

I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again when visitng Munich

Very clean, very comfortable rooms, very friendly staff, convenient location ascoutside the hotel is the undeground/subway/train station !!!Honestly this unit is a top choice when visiting Munich!!! The extra thing that made lour staying at this hotel even more special was the all day self service open bar (bottled water, snacks, coffees, soft drinks) free of charge...

I loved everything about being inside! + Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are free. Not even the cheap stuff, but Ritter Sport and Kettle Chips! + Water pressure and temperature in the shower were top!

I didn't think I could ever get so excited about a hotel, but MOMA 1890 was a delight in every way! + Friendly staff that instantly makes you feel welcome + Great location in Munich East, a lovely alternative to Munich Central (honestly, the area around Munich Central is STRESSFUL and overrated

We ate at Saigon Deli, a Vietnamese restaurant, Erbil’s, a small, casual, vegan, Turkish place, and Taverna Paros, a vibrant Greek restaurant a bit further afield that was frequented by locals

Relatively cheap hotel almost next to the main train station. Rooms and the whole interior look nice and clean, staff is nice and helpful. Great price-value ratio.

We had a fantastic stay at Boutique Hotel Atrium München! The rooms were extremely clean and the bed was super comfy. It’s located right in the heart of Munich, walking distance to any attraction

We booked this hotel out of fluke, last minute as we missed our train connection. It was a great hotel and close to Munich Hbf. Staffs (especiallyTugce) were great and helpful

📍Location: located 10 minute walk from the main station, in the middle of the Afghan district (if this is a thing, as all the shops and restaurants were marked as Afghan)

The hotel is 5 min walking from the train station, so it’s perfect if you arrive by train. The staff was really welcoming and the hotel seemed to be renovated recently. It was a great stay.

The room wasn't as big as it looked in the photos. It's not far from Central Station, there's a supermarket nearby, and it's close to the city center and pedestrian street, so the location is good

I asked her about the possibility of changing our rooms to the other side of the hotel where there is a working elevator and where we could have all three rooms on the same floor

The hotel is just one U bahn station away from Munich Hbf. The room was clean and the staff was friendly.

They have an all in one body wash/shampoo so you may want to bring your own products. The hotel does not use key cards but instead has codes to unlock the doors. The beds were comfy and the linens were clean and new

They had a closet area, two stools, a table, side tables by the beds, and a small TV. The wifi was pretty strong during our stay too. The bathroom was good too with good shower pressure and temperature

Guys at lobby were very friendly I would say the only disadvantage was poor sound insulation between floors - you could hear people walking upstairs. Also, there is no kettle and fridge in the room

The pillow was thin but it was fine for what we needed. The temperature is pretty easy to control in this room with an AC unit and radiator but we didn't need either in December

I love the gigantic bear at the entrance. It sparks lot of joy, the location is extremely dog friendly with a huge park next to them. The gym is rather small with some dumbbells, a treadmill and bike

I would rate the hotel itself a 4. You can feel its age here and there — a sheet with a little hole, a curtain with a story of its own

Reasonable and convenient large family rooms The mattresses are foam, so you may hurt your back a bit, but the rooms are bright and airy, the bathroom very clean and the toilet is separate, which is great when you stay there in a group! The location is quite good, with public transportwithin walking distance

I really enjoyed staying here because the rooms were nice, clean, and big at a reasonable price. it is about a 10 minute walk to the underground metro but its a nice and pleasant walk around a beautiful residential area.

Spacious and with excellent facilities. Everything was of high quality, from the beautiful bathtub to the separate shower. The toilet and washbasin being in separate areas was also a great touch.

I booked a room for my visiting family. It was literally in the building next to where I live. It was spotless, modern and the bed comfortable

The cleanliness and interior were very good. I thought it would be close to the center of Munich, but it was a little inconvenient compared to what I expected. The service desk closes early, so I hope they improve that.

But didnt leave any pen there for me to sign and didnt ask for the form at the check out. Its not nice that the guest has to sort it out for them. The kitchen was fully equipped but there was no exhaust above stove

The wear and tear was visible in the room. The sink in the bathroom was damaged. The leaflet in the room states have to take the rubbish ourselves which I did but found it a bit strange

Our recent stay at Brera Serviced Apartment was truly a five-star experience. The self-checking and making your own room card was a nice new experience. The room was impeccably clean, and offered a stunning city view

The location was perfect for us both the night of the concert and the next night when we went to the English garden and caught a bus that dropped us off across the street

I also requested champagne upon check in but didn’t end up drinking it until the next day or so and when i asked for fresh ice they offered to exchange the bottle for a fresh cold one instead! It was the little things of their service that made such a difference

Our room was very nice, although I do wish there was a dresser to unpack our clothes. The service was attentive and everyone there was very nice. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning, and a drink in the car each night

  The neighborhood around the hotel had supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants and pharmacies, all within an easy walking distance.  We came for the Christmas Markets and there is a large one right in front of the hotel

Located 10mins walk to Hackerbrucke station. A lot of shops/supermarkets (Aldi, Lidl, Edeka) nearby the hotel. According to staff, all bedrooms have different theme, and mine was "rock star" theme

I would like to thank the receptionists for their kindness and help, to find doctors, taxis, medicines… and provide all that we needed for our pupils, during a two days gastroenteritis attack! By the end of our sickness, they cleaned thoroughly all the rooms so that the kids would stay to a healthy environment! The area is secure for school groups and not far from Munchen center

The hotel was great overall with a parking garage. The staff was nice on someday also some kitchenware was not clean enough and some amenities was not stocked in some room. We noticed it since we book couple room.

May have problem with light sleepers cos this room is facing the street but with windows closed it’s bearable! We still able to sleep thru the night soundly cos the bed is comfortable! Complimentary & unlimited coffee @Reception and it’s great for coffee lovers! Lidl supermarket is just a short walking distance away

I would recommend walking the slightly longer way along relexa hotel to get to Hauptbahnof for all the train tram buses to avoid the little streets Mitterstrasse Goethstrasse, those can be really busy and grungy

We LOVED our stay at Adagio Aparthotel, the little kitchen is everything. Clean, modern, receptionists were really friendly and helpful and we liked the kiddy area at the lobby with foosball

Huge and clean room only set back is if you facing the street always can hear siren either by police or ambulance but if you closed your windows is still bearable

However, the pillows were too soft and not filled enough. The Wi-Fi in the room was excellent. The room cleaning every three days was perfectly acceptable to me. Disadvantages: No slippers, no refrigerator

This hotel is close to the station and has convenient facilities. The reception staff and luggage storage allowed us to travel around the area first. The room was a good size and made our stay very pleasant!

The breakfast was standard, however not very special. The S1 from the airport or from the central station is close. The rooms are quiet and have air-conditioning, this is not a standard in Germany
