Holiday Inn Munich City Centre, Munchen1 / 15

Munchen, Hochstr. 3, Au-Haidhausen (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Great hotel, close to city centre and S-Bahn. Breakfast was excellent, so many different food choices. Large lobby area too with lots of relaxed seating and well-stocked bar. Plus a great view from the upper floors!
This hotel offers direct subway access, is close to the city center, and the S8 line from the airport goes straight to the hotel. It's convenient for both dining and shopping.
Great size and location - easy to learn after a couple of days. Very close to city centre.
Location is central to Munich City. The hotel is attached to a shopping arcade and train station, which is super convenient. Staff are friendly and responsive
Location is super convenient, train directly from airport to hotel, just about 5mins walk in underground passage. The room is spacious and clean. The breakfast is highly recommended with lots of choices
The metro station and a supermarket are right downstairs, which makes getting around, shopping, and general living really convenient. The price is also quite affordable

The Hotel is very well maintained. Rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. Location is not too far from city Center, it’s walkable. There is a supermarket right opposite of the hotel, it’s very convenient
The room is clean and large. The location is near train and city center. It has Lidl supermarket, restaurant, DM, also Chinese restaurant near hotel.
Great Hotel, Great location, great staff, it has an underground metro station under it with direct connection to the city center and airport. Very expensive parking and no enough amenities. Old hotel buildings
The hotel is conveniently located with direct connection to the airport and main sightseeing sights. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The hotel breakfast was great with plenty of hot and cold selection
Breakfast spread is very good The hotel parking garage is quite expensive. I asked the staff whether there is any other parking garage nearby the area and he told me there is none
I really liked the room, very satisfied with this stay. The location is excellent, perfect for a base to host and relax in Munich. The front desk service was also good.

Le Méridien München, Munchen1 / 30

Munchen, Bayerstrasse 41 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
One of my favorite hotels nearby the central station, well connected to all attractions in town
We had a very good experience here at the le meridien hotel munich! We were greeted warmly by the receptionist, alex miller. I remembered him clearly because of his warm and welcoming demeanor
We had a wonderful stay at Le Méridien Munich. The majority of the staff were friendly and helpful, particularly the Asian girl staff members at the check-in counter, who made us feel very welcome
Perhaps the only thing missing was toileteries amenities which were not in the room, but if you request for them they will give you. Bottled water is only given 1 per day
And in this holiday we came back to Munich, bring our whole family to explore more about Munich, and decided back to this hotel, because of the previous experience. And again we all are very satisfied
All the staffs were again very very friendly, the room was very clean, the breakfast super, and the location right in front of the train station. Thank you for making our journey more enjoyable

The location is quiet yet central, in a safe area, and within walking distance of the city center. Good value for money.
This is my second time staying at this hotel, and as always, the location is great – right in the city center, making it convenient to get anywhere
The staffs are very polite, nice, attentive & so helpful for us, especially when the rozenheimplatz train station nearby was under construction when we stayed, they help us to find the fastest & nearest way to our destinations that we need
The heater, AC & hot water works really well the room so make us really comfortable to stay. It is near to Aldi & HIT supermarket & also asia store. Besides, many good food and bakery near the hotel, in walking distance
The facilities are complete and well-maintained, the room is quite spacious, and everything is clean. There's a small river next to the hotel with fragrant flowers and birdsong
The room was big enough for two and clean. We arrived much before check-in time though, the staffs helped us. Thanks to this, we spent time comfortably till check-in time

How this was still £400 for one night stay I am unsure. The works finish before Christmas, they said. Here once a month or 6 weeks. I’m back in Munich in two weeks but won’t be staying here ‘til 2026
The renovation works on lobby area are extensive and inconvenient. Entrance to hotel further along and via side door. Up a flight of stairs to a temporary reception. Room ok, but aircond fan noisy
Everything is within walking distant of the hotel within a few blocks, dining, cafes, trollers, shopping, even has a theatre. The views from the rooftop bar were the perfect nightcap
The hotel was in a great location; very central. Access to transport was great with tram right outside, e-scooters parked across the road, and a short walk to the train stations
The hotel is amazing! Staff were outstanding, especially Ben Said from Tunisia. They upgraded us to a spacious, classic-style room with a separate dressing room and option for a connected room
They even installed a bidet spray in the bathroom and helped return our rental car. The location is quiet and perfect for relaxation, with very comfortable beds and pillows

Location is the best almost in front of central station of Munich. The hotel staff is very friendly and professional. You can drop your luggage before checkin and after checkout
Right by the train station, so it's super convenient. The front desk staff were friendly, and even though it's central, it's not on the main street, so it was really quiet
The room was clean and tidy, not luxurious, but cozy enough. I slept really well, and the price was reasonable
A decent hotel near the train station with convenient transportation. The room size is acceptable, but the mattress isn't very comfortable. It's a good choice if you're not too picky about your accommodation.
The room is clean and spacious but too many of furnitures that make it too small. All amenities are good and breakfast is delicious. The location is the best.
Excellence location. Very good breakfast. Staff is very friendly with good services. We forgot mobile phone when checkout, staff helped us.

The location is in the city center, convenient to go everywhere, good
The rooms were comfortable and well maintained, offering a good standard of quality. Nothing ultra luxurious, but they do a good job. What really affected my stay, however, was the constant issue with the key cards
I opened the door to a birthday surprise. The Lady in Red team was so thoughtful. After breakfast, I ran into Zheng Qinwen at the hotel entrance. Turns out we were staying at the same hotel
I'm using the hotel for a meeting with a business partner from Munich. Here's a brief summary: It's not possible to drive directly to the hotel, as a Christmas wine stand seems to be more important
An amazing HOTEL! A real Palace! The best location in Munich! Very well renovated! An exceptional breakfast, a unique atmosphere at the lobby bar and an unbeatable service!
Overall, while the hotel has strong points in comfort and location, the repeated key card issues, small gym, underwhelming sauna, and lack of late-night dining options made the stay more frustrating than it should have been

Great value for what your paying especially during Octoberfestival. Walkable distance to the center. Its clean and like the cozy design. They gave us 2 bottle of beer every morning along with bottle of water
It was a very good experience staying here. Clean, comfortable room, excellent service, a great kitchen for preparing meals, close to the metro station, and for those who like to walk, you could reach Marienplatz on foot
Clean, well-equipped, everything you need is available in a very small space, friendly welcome, €18/night/car in the very narrow, winding underground parking garage – SUVs should be careful. We would love to come back.
The hotel isn't new, but the rooms are clean and cozy. The beds are comfortable, as is the rest of the furniture. There are outlets next to the bed and interesting nightlights that can be directed in any direction
Very satisfied! The hotel in Germany is clean, has good service attitude, has kitchenware, complete and new facilities, simple and elegant decoration style, good quality, and no smell!
Good service (for a B&B), the hotel is located next to the lake, quiet, beautiful, and inexpensive. Walking might be a bit difficult, but if you have a car, it's not too difficult.

Location was great and easily accessible to most tourist districts! Slight concern would be some seemingly homeless that would hang loose around the central station
Conveniently located opposite Munich main train station and walking distance to key sites in Munich.
The location is great, near the central station, can take subway, tram and bus, and have convenient store nearby. The staff are very friendly, and the hotel provides apples and chocolate. The room is clean.
Hotel was super convenient right outside of Hbf. Cleaning staff was efficient in cleaning the room daily.
Good location, friendly staff, but the room was still dusty and got some hairs on the floor
The real disappointment: water policy. The hotel only provides ONE small bottle of water per day per room. On my first day, I asked reception for an extra bottle — they told me to go to the bar

It is across the street from the main central station, it is where the airport shuttle bus stops at, all of the tour companies are within a one block radius, there is a tram stop outside the front of the hotel, every tram and underground/subway depart from Central Station so they are also all within one block
Lufthansa Airport Express drops you off directly in front of the hotel at Munich Main Station. Super convenient for your flight schedule
Close enough to city center, but is kind of pricey uber compared to other European cities. Hotel staff and amenities were solid. Will be our go-to hotel anytime we stay in Munich
Excellent experience! Room was extremely central and I was worried about noise but the windows were very effective and there was no noise in the room at all! Staff were very responsive
Everything was in working order and the entire hotel as well as my guest room was extremely clean. Showers were amazing with great water pressure. Very comfortable bedding, linens, and towels
The only opportunity for improvement was the gym. Adding free weights and another mat and removing one of the cardio machines would make a huge difference

Overall a very good stay, but a few details were disappointing for a five-star hotel: no toothbrush or toothpaste in the room, no bottled water (only tap water), and a very small and poor equipped fitness area.
However, my mom found a little dirty stuff in the shower when she first got into her room. Overall, the hotel is quite good
In some minor details you can notice that the hotel is already existing for 20 years, but the staff makes up for it in every possible way: super friendly, attentive, very caring, I always feel welcome when staying here
Lovely hotel! Lots of great amenities. Very business orientated hotel. Lovely front desk staff (especially Alexander).
The hotel's location is pretty good. It's closed by most tourist spots in Munich. The staff is quite nice & helpful. The spa and gym is quite nice, and breakfast is good too

Munchen, Paul-Heyse-Straße 24, Ludwigsvorstadt-Isarvorstadt (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel's location is convenient enough to quickly reach the city center or the trade fair, as in our case. Being in a residential area, parking isn't easy to find, but fortunately the hotel has one
When parking in Germany, it is best to download the app in advance (you need to register in advance for handyparken. Using the app to park is very convenient. Otherwise, you have to buy a parking ticket from a machine)
The parking for Oktoberfest went up from 29 to 39 Euros, but it's very close to the festival. Breakfast was really mediocre; the only good thing is the location.
This hotel is new and the environment is good, but the space is average and not very spacious. There are parking spaces on the road
€30 per day, even if you check in at 8 pm! Shameful! The mattress in the room is obviously dated and has dips without any support. Not to mention the four pillows, which are all completely flaked
The water is blocked and I can't wash or take a shower.

The hotel facilities are new, and the rooms are a bit small. It's very close to the central train station, and attractions like the Royal Palace and the Deutsches Museum are within walking distance
The hotel is conveniently located near the central station, with supermarkets nearby. In the evenings, there are quite a few Middle Eastern people on the streets
The hotel facilities are excellent, especially the large bed. Having a 2-meter bed in Germany is a real luxury! However, it's really only suitable for a small family or a couple. The sofa isn't suitable for sleeping
Clean and modern hotel, spacious rooms. The area near rain station is not the best, many weird people, but we were prepared as it’s always like this near major railway hubs. The hotel itself is very good!
The hotel location is not in the heart of old town Munich but it’s just 5 mins walk from the main train station, so that’s a plus. To go to the old town Munich, it’s just 1-2 stops away using Metro/Tram
The front desk staff were super friendly and the room was very clean. We arrived really early in the morning, and they were still so welcoming, letting us relax in the lobby.

Munchen, Sophienstraße 28 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
We just stayed at The Charles Hotel in Munich and honestly had a really great experience. The service was top notch without ever feeling stiff. Every single staff member we interacted with was genuinely kind and helpful
You can order à la carte and/or do the buffet, and both were fantastic. The view from our room was amazing for February, we were lucky to have some beautiful snowfall. Location-wise, it’s hard to beat for Munich
The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and turndown service was consistently done well. It’s one of those hotels where you come back at night and everything just feels taken care of
Very convenient to get around, but still feels calm and refined. It’s also just a few minutes’ walk from Marienplatz, which makes exploring the city incredibly easy. Beautiful hotel and even better service
The concierge in particular was incredible — they were able to get us tickets to the FC Bayern match with zero hassle, which made the whole trip even more memorable
” Two minutes later, I was offered another room in the same category overlooking a very quiet street with no traffic. I was fully satisfied — but it makes me wonder why this option was not offered from the beginning

The staff were very polite and helpful. The location is a few minutes walk from the Munich Central Station (HBF) and very convenient if you're using the trains. Also it's a 15/20 minute walk to Marienplatz which is great
One road away from Munich central train station (hbf). Walkable distance to old town and also can go by tram. Nice breakfast. Definitely recommended.
The hotel is in a great location, very close to Munich Central Station. It's very clean and the service is excellent.
Just a five-minute walk from the train station, which is super convenient if you're catching a train. There are also plenty of cafes nearby for breakfast, so you don't really need to opt for the hotel's breakfast
The room size is quite big enough for us and very clean. The staff always come to clean your room everyday. Breakfast and staff in the restaurant is very awesome

Munchen, Dachauer Str. 21, Maxvorstadt (in the centre) 🧭 Map
I've stayed at multiple Ibis hotels in various countries, and I've been extremely satisfied every time! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff are friendly and polite, and check-in is quick
The staff is really nice, however, the room I was assigned is not soundproof, for me it's fine, but I guess it will be very noisy for some travellers, as you can hear the trains go back and forth
My only minor complaint is that the rooms don't have a kettle
There also seemed to be a communication issue among the staff. I purchased breakfast during check-in, but the next morning, the breakfast staff told me I hadn't. I had to go to the front desk again to clarify and confirm
Great location, very close to the train station. However, there was no bottled water in the room, and the water dispenser downstairs was empty at night. The room itself was quite small
Lastly, the shower (toilet) is a bit tiny, and interestingly the door is installed oppositely

Very comfortable, cozy, friendly staff, incredible Breakfast ,to be at the center .Within walking distance from the Central square, and most of all interesting.
It has been some time since I last stayed in Platzl hotel. No changes to the superb rooms, breakfast and service. This is my first choice hotel for Munich.
I spent five nights here and absolutely loved it. I had a single room on the fourth floor overlooking the Hofbrau house. While it got a little noisy on the street at night it generally quieted down after 9 PM
I also appreciated the in room coffee and tea. The room was cleaned daily and was absolutely spotless, plenty of plush towels and nice amenities. The bed was comfortably firm, and I slept very well
The location is a four minute walk from the S Bahn stop at Marienplatz, which takes you directly to the airport, as well as connects you to other parts of the city
The staff is exceedingly welcoming and helpful. The fifth floor spa/sauna is very nice. The lobby is a cozy place to sit in the evenings and have a drink

However, it's a great choice for an overnight layover if you're transferring trains. The room was spacious, the mini-bar was completely free, and breakfast was quite generous
The location is super convenient, right next to the main train station. It's only a 10-minute walk to the old town's main attractions, and there are plenty of dining options nearby
The hotel is conveniently located, about a 3 to 5-minute walk from the train station and a 10 to 15-minute walk to the old town. It's a completely non-smoking hotel
The breakfast buffet wasn't particularly extensive and mostly consisted of cold items, but it did offer Munich's specialty white sausages
The hotel is very close to the train station, just over a 5-minute walk. There are plenty of food options nearby
The area around the station is a bit messy due to ongoing construction, so be sure to watch your belongings when out and about, and be careful at night

Eventually took a bus and spent some time and had quick breakfast before taking the train to the Munich airport to return to California. You can purchase a day family pass for 25 Euros that works for train and bus
The double room was well-equipped with a small kitchenette and refrigerator. The bathroom was a good size with plenty of storage space. The sauna and fitness room were great
The rooms are spacious and cosy, the prices are affordable, the employees are always friendly and service minded and the wellness center is very nice with a very good sauna
The hotel is situated in a very beautiful neighborhood in Munich, with many good restaurants close by (a good one even in the hotel but my favorite is the incredible restaurant Il Piccolo Principe only 150 meters from the hotel) and also cafes (my favorite is Eiscafé Italia only 400 meters from the hotel)
The breakfast was delicious, with both savory and sweet options; nothing was lacking. Of course, the hotel's 80s/90s style takes some getting used to, but it was perfectly adequate for a few days
The property wasn't easy to evaluate from outside, but once we entered into the room, we were highly impressed

My stay at the Munich Art Hotel was absolutely fantastic! The decor is very stylish and there are many artworks adorning the hotel. The location is incredibly convenient, being right next to Munich Central Station
The guy at the front desk was also really friendly and welcoming; he'd always greet me warmly whenever I came and went, which made me feel right at home. Plus, a free and generous breakfast was offered every morning
