Reviews
Especially the breakfast I do not recommend for the price of EUR 19...better go out to some brunch restaurant nearby and have a decent breakfast for that money.
Shortly: Horrible customer service, no room cleaning, rooms are disappointing.
So I paid 230€ per night for a simple room in this hotel, and I feel robed, because the hotel was not even close to the 3 stars that is stated here in google. This hotel should have no stars.
They suggest you do check-in online, and give you a virtual key so you can open the room with your phone. Surprise: this key doesn’t work. You need to still ask for it at the reception.
Service at the reception is not welcoming, feels like guests annoy the employees with their requests. When I asked for additional amenities to be brought to the room (a toothbrush), I’ve been told I need to go to the reception and pick it up. Not the service you expect in the hotel of 3 stars or similar.
Room is small and dark, very little light from lamps, and lacking cleaning: there is dust of many weeks on the lamps. The pillow is super flat and uncomfortable, there are holes in the bed sheets, and the mattress is uncomfortable as well.
The basic room doesn’t even have glasses for water. There is a sign however that you can drink tap water, very thoughtful to put the sign and no glasses to drink it from.
In three nights that I stayed there, the room wasn’t cleaned. Hotel clearly wants to skip cleaning as much s possible: the tablet in the room asks you to confirm you want to skip cleaning almost the first thing after you enter the room, and the standard door sign with „please clean“ doesn’t exist, its place took a sign with „please skip cleaning“ (on the other side „do not disturb“).
There was no cleaning done in the room in the three nights I stayed. While on one day I put „do not disturb“ sign for a bit of time, it wasn’t there the whole day, and the team had time to clean. Next day I asked for fresh towels, saying that the room wasn’t cleaned yesterday. They brought towels, but that day the room wasn’t cleaned again, although that day I wasn’t in the room most of the day and explicitly left the room without any door signs. When I communicated this to the hotel, they say that I lied and there was always a sign of „please no cleaning“ or „do not disturb“ on the door, and they do not care what I say. This tells you a lot about the customer service in this place :) I travelled a lot, but this was just a horrible service.
The only good place about this hotel is location. For the rest - really really bad. There is basically no service, employees are annoyed by guests, there is no cleaning in the room, and even no basic things in the room like glasses for water (of course also no coffee or kettle, but well apparently they write it in the room description. Although for the price and level of the hotel it’s unacceptable in any room). Stay here only if you like overpriced super basic rooms and absence of customer service.
The staff were friendly, though there was a slight language barrier at times. Room service was reasonably priced, and while breakfast wasn’t my favorite, I did enjoy the self-serve fresh orange juice machine.
I was originally provided a room on the 7th floor, but since I wanted to avoid the club noise, I requested a lower floor. The front desk kindly offered me an upgrade, which gave me a nice view. That said, the room itself still felt quite small. The hotel could also be a bit noisy overall.
In the end, it was a decent stay—slightly pricey for the room size and breakfast quality, but very convenient for exploring Berlin, especially if you want easy access to transportation, bars, and clubs
Hotel staff are friendly and welcoming
Despite arriving early, a room was available, and it was perfect. We really loved the decor and interiors throughout.
The skybar is a must if you stay here as the view and cocktails are delicious.
The Italian restaurant Gambino was also very good indeed.
We didn't opt for breakfast as we ventured out early every day, so unable to comment.
Great location very close to Ost Bahnhof. Hotel was modern and clean. Good value breakfast. Unfortunately double bed was 2 sogles that kept separating . Very uncomfortable sleep.
Very dark reception & room
Nice toiletries
Disappointed hotel downgraded my room but not the price
Expensive room €107 & no breakfast! No kettle provided in room, disappointed
