I do not recommend this hotel, two things that we liked about it was the attractive main entrance and convenient location. There were dirty stains on the carpets in our room, we were very surprised when we closed the curtains and saw huge white stains there, as some kind of chemical stuff for cleaning or something. What I liked the most- when we opened the blanket, and saw someone else's long black hair there (i’m blonde), with towels in bathroom situation is the same! Nasty and disgusting! There aren't even cups and disposable slippers in the rooms.

Booked two rooms on the same reservation. Only one room was found when checking in which lead to a lot of waiting time, trying to figure out what happened to the other room reservation.

The interior of the hotel reminds me of the 80s or 70s that takes you back in time. I would visit here during the cool season because they don't have air-conditioning inside, although they provide you with a fan but I'm not sure if it's comfortable for consecutive days. The walls are thin too so when a bunch of people are walking in the hallway, you can definitely hear them.

What I like about staying here is how much space you get inside the room. It has a TV and a big closet. Their selection of breakfast is also good, they have something warm and cold. It was also easy for us to roam around the inner city because we are meters away from the central station.

Good location. Close to Zoological Garten train station. Good stuff service.
This is a hotel full of characters, our room was very clean. Bathroom was a bit small . No tea or coffee making facilities.

Top Hotel im wunderschönen Altbau mit toller Architektur mittendrin - direkt am Zoologischen Garten auf der joachimsthaler zwischen Kantstr und Kurfürstendamm.

The hotel staff has been very friendly and supportive during my stay.
I have forgotten my charger and they recommended me to get it organised via DHL. Really great! THANKS again.

Last but not least, the bed is very comfortable and I slept like a baby.

I can recommend this place and will definitely come back.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and while my stay itself was fine, I was disappointed with the way I was treated after checking out. I asked the receptionist if I could charge my phone and wait in the lobby for a few hours, but I was told I wasn’t allowed to stay. I found this response quite rude and surprising, as I believe it’s normal for hotels to allow guests especially those who just checked out to wait in the reception area for a reasonable amount of time. This left a negative impression on me, and I think the hotel could be more accommodating and understanding toward its guests.

I can confidently say this was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The attention to detail was evident everywhere, from the elegant lobby to the beautifully designed rooms. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, always greeting me with a smile and eager to assist. My room was spacious with large windows offering a stunning view of the city. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was stocked with luxury toiletries. The breakfast buffet was excellent, featuring a variety of dishes to suit all tastes. The hotel also had great amenities such as a fitness center, spa, and a rooftop terrace. The location was perfect, close to major attractions and easy access to transportation. I will definitely return on my next visit.
