Rostock, Doberaner Str. 96 🧭 Map
Clean and comfortable room and friendly, attentive staff. Very nice!
Close to communication, restaurants and a food store. Nice beds but if you are sensitive to traffic noise you might hear the trains outside.
A very nice hostel, perfect for families and short trips. We felt very welcome from the very first moment. We'd love to come back!
This hostel is perfect for anyone, especially families. It was fresh, organized and cozy. The shared kitchen provided everything we needed for making food. Moreover, it was nice to watch a movie in the common room after a long day out. The staff was helpful and really friendly. Me and my friend booked a room for two which had plenty of space and nice beds. We shared a fresh bathroom that had a shower...
Big rooms with lots of space, very nice common area with big couch and fully furnished kitchen, good location, friendly staff
Very nice hostel with serviceminded reception. Nice rooms, new bathroom's, kitchen too prepare food with cooler and freezer so you can buy your own food. Stickers to put on your food in the cooler. Beer and soft drink too be bought. Everything was too our greatest expectation. Recomended!!!

amazing people and great facilities
1. Clean and comfortable
2. A bit far from the station, about a 10-15 minute walk
3. The toilet and bathroom are okay, but the kitchen is a bit basic.
I lived with two other people, so the space was very large, and my roommates were all very nice. The view outside was also absolutely gorgeous, probably because of the bright sunshine.
Although the location isn't near the train station, the city isn't large. It's just three stops on tram number 11 from the new city train station, then a five or six-minute walk. While the bathrooms are shared, they are clean and well-designed, making them easy to use. There's free coffee at the reception on the first floor, and free tea bags in the kitchen. The kitchen isn't large, but it's very clean...
The location is very good. As a youth hostel, the room is just so-so. But the locks and towels are charged. On the day of check-in, I was with the youth football team, and the black kids were noisy in the corridor until midnight.
Have to explain why I’m giving 3/5 for cleanliness: I think there was a trash juice leakage in the stairway which left a trail and stank while I was staying. Other than that it’s a perfect place for solo travelling - good price to value, friendly staff, ease of checking in and out, adequate facilities and amenities... Overall it was a great experience

Berlin, Pappelallee 21 🧭 Map
The hostel is very nice and clean. The localisation is great. The only issue are very thin walls, during nights it is extremely noisy. Hard to get some sleep.
Excellent hostel in a good neighboorhood with plenty of places to get breakfast, eat and drink. We had a small 3 bed appt but it was all we needed. It was quiet, clean and the facilities were just down the hall. Might come again when revisiting Berlin.
Excellent hotel. A little far from different places but still a good location (great transportation nearby).
Rooms: great and super comfortable
Common spaces: there was a living space, library or office, dining, great kitchen!
Bathrooms: super clean and big
Not good for light sleepers, you can hear the train running and people talking outside even when windows closed; moreover, the floor makes noise when anyone walks. But overall a great place to stay, great location, clean bed supplies, functional bathroom and basically everything a person needs for staying a few days. Will visit again if I ever come back to Berlin.
Happy with how cosy the private rooms are, I think the bathrooms were also excellent. Beds comfy, everything really clean. Location is wonderful. Only thing I will say is that the floors are really creaky meaning that I got woken up a few times by people walking around outside, and there's a lot of noise from the street outside. Otherwise a brilliant experience and will be happy to return
There were separete bathrooms(single shared baths outside the room), that we very appriciated. In the bathrooms there was a hair dryer and we were also given an additional towel under your legs and for yourself
The room was nice and very comfortable. The check-in was really fine and easy. Very kind lady told us everthing neccessary and important for our stay.

Good ambience and self check in if you are late . Rooms are big and appropriate. You should provide towels and soap
A solid choice if you don’t mind a slightly noisier atmosphere. The rooms are tidy and spacious enough, but there are always plenty of people in the hallways and common areas. Still, the price is reasonable for Hamburg, and it’s definitely a good spot if you’re traveling alone and want to meet new people.
Pretty good rooms, let me self-check-in since I was late. Would be nice if they were in office earlier than 10 to checkout (but that was my/Deutsche Bahn's fault for having to self-check-in anyway) but they accept PayPal as a payment method which made that part easier as well.
I gave 5 stars even though I rated the other aespects 3. The location is far but quiet, the rooms are simple but clean. On top of that they had a smart tv and a kettle. For the money I paid, I’m very satisfied.
Halfway through my stay so far. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable (and don't make too much noise—nice when you're the early bird of the room) and the kitchen is well-equipped.
My only two gripes are that the location is a bit out of the way (the street it's on is primarily an office park and residential area, but it is still easy to get into town or to the shops via S-Bahn) and that there...
This hostel Is very nice and silent, it's a pretty new building, the rooms are big enough, the toilets and the showers are very clean.
The staff is kind and helpful. U didn't use the kitchen but I saw that is useful.
Moreover the hostel is located 5 mins walk to the underground/trains station.

Bremen, Am Dobben 62 🧭 Map
The hostel is easy to get to. There are some unsavoury characters hanging around the neighbourhood but not directly outside the hostel. Facilities were ok, but the dorms really need privacy curtains. There were also dishes regularly left in the kitchen sink. Staff were great. However, some sorta social events should be organised as there was no atmosphere.
I booked here again and I find this time quite good.
The location of the hostel is very good, easy to walk in all directions. There is a private toilet and shower per room. The kitchen is open, meaning everyone can use it. It's a very good price. I found the place clean. There is internet and a socket near the bed.
I stayed here for a week in a one bed room with a private bath. The place is clean, has a kitchen and is situated in a great location, close to the river and the main train station. The staff is friendly (big thanks to the handsome guy who helped us with our laundry). The only disadvantage was the cooktop which didn’t really work. But I’ll definitely recommend it to my friends.
Just adding onto my review from November 2021 after staying for a duration of times a couple times in May 2022. Townside has pretty much everything a traveller needs, and the location is great. The staff are friendly and accommodating (big shoutout to Darleen). Gets a little hot on the top floor.
Amazing hostel, the girl at the reception has amazing vibes and is super welcoming and friendly (red hair blue eyes), very clean, quiet and well located. Perfect hostel in my eyes ! And cheap !!

This hostel is an Oasis in the middle of Frankfurt's downtown heart. You'll feel like in a cyberpunk movie when you are arriving at night, but once you've entered the hostel lobby, you will find a nice and warm place with comfortable tables to chill and relax and unlimited coffee and tea. The rooms are wide, the sheets are clean and the beds comfortable. The hostel 5 elements is convenient and well...
Beds have cracking sounds other everything perfect need to fix
Pity I could take only one night, as I was meant to spend the next 3 with other 3 colleagues, and this place was PERFECT for our stay... I realised when it was too late.
I now know for next year! Will be coming back.
The staff were incredibly welcoming, and I felt relaxed from the moment I arrived. The room was spotless and well-equipped, with a beautiful view from the window. Breakfast offered a great variety of dishes, making my stay truly satisfying and enjoyable.
A decent seat, and excellent customer service !
Had a glitch with an online payment, and was accidentally over-charged. The manager was quick to look into it, and fixed it before I checked out in the morning. Excellent customer service !
Thanks to all for the good stay.
Hostel staff is amazing!! We attended free beer tasting night with Fabian and tried lots of amazing beers from all over Germany. Awesome vibe the hostel staff has and shows to its guests. Will definitely try to make it back to this place hopefully soon!

Munchen, wamslerstraße 7 🧭 Map
After booking the wrong hostel and actually booking this one, I was shitting myself after reading the reviews. Probably more the fact that I was in charge of a stag and I had 7 other people to win over after my mistake. Who by the way didn’t let me live this one down.
First impressions definitely led up to the reviews. The outside was scattered with rubbish. The entrance resembled something of that...
It's quite far away from the centre of Munich and it cost €5.50 on public transport to get here, taking 45 minutes.
The place itself is very basic, but immaculately clean. We hired towels for €2. The showers were hot and powerful and there was a hairdryer in the shower room. There are vending machines for drinks and snacks. For the money, I would recommend.
The shared restroom and shower room was cold and impossible to shower in. The room wasn't cleaned daily, and the bed linen wasn't changed until a week's stay. On my first day, there were other people's hair on the bed. Aside from the front desk's service, I wouldn't recommend it. It's close to the Munich Exhibition Center, one subway stop away, and one kilometer from the main train station.
At first, I was skeptical because of the bad reviews. But, the hostel is actually pretty decent. This is the kind of hostel you need if you just want to have a short-term stay. The staffs were helpful. The bathrooms were clean.
The hostel is clean, the beds are comfortable. There are enough showers and toilets. There is also a small kitchenette. But it is not enough personnel to maintain the place, the halls are dirty and the check-in was more than 15 minutes in the evening. Overall, good stay for fair money.

One of the BEST Hostels in city!!!
Very nice and quiet place .. cheapest hostel in the Bremen it's not like Big hostel chain but recommend to stay. Everything is on walking distance like shopping center , bus station , Train Station
They are so nice and accept my request on Booking.com! Thanks a lot and next time if I go to Bremen I'll definitely stay there! Good place and nice price!
I really enjoyed my time in the clean, positive-spirited, well maintained hostel with lovely soft bed and even other luxuries like water kettler and a free WiFi! The price was Really decent, for as good service and facilities as were provided. The only minus I came to notice in the facilities was that in the room I stayed the closets with locks didn't really work. :s They'd have been really handy!...
While cheap, the place was pretty mediocre. The beds were kind of bad too. The location is great though.
Elevator's not working even though it is present, so I had to carry my luggage to the 5th floor myself. The pillows and the mattresses are hillarious, WiFi is only downstairs, and it smells like cigarettes in the common room because of bad ventilation in the smoking area.
But it is cheap and very centrally located. Also the ladies room is very nice.

Great staff. Nice for a hostel. Clean helpfulness
Great welcome and very friendly team! Also the location is great, in the middle of the alternative district of the city, with a nice parc nearby.
We had the best time at Lollis Homestay! Super friendly staff, good atmosphere and chilled main area in the hostel with free coffee and tea at all times. The room was very pretty and clean. We‘re a queer couple and not always that relaxed with also showing it, for safety reasons, but at Lollis it was not a problem at all - felt super safe and comfy at all times! Thanks! (:
The room was nice and clean, but when I stayed for 2 nights, they didn't clean the room or refill the towels. If I wanted to, I had to pay 10 euros for cleaning and 1 euro for towels.
It's a very nice hostel with an eclectic and original vibe. The staff was helpful and it was easy to connect with other travelers. It's a bit further away from the old town, but the tram station is nearby. I stayed in the girls dorm, the beds had curtains for privacy a power outlet and a light.
Loved our stay in Lollies From the first email giving us directions to the hostel to the lovely Scottish/ German receptionist who was so helpful and friendly and great at explaining.( Please let her know she was appreciated!). The area was great area to stay too. Thank you

A cool, welcoming spot right on the city’s iconic art street. The service was warm and attentive, making it a great place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
The hostel was really clean and the rooms were great. There’s a nice little biergarten/cafe at the bottom of the hostel and the employees are really nice and helpful. It’s only a couple of minutes from the S-Bahn. Highly recommend for your next stay in Leipzig.
One of the best Hostel in city! Good price, excellent staff, really recommended. Only thing is if you prefer the "centrum" experience, maybe look for other options.
In Homeplanet you will get a unique experience of what Leipzig is all about, friendly ppl, all that. I would give 5/5 but I realize some in ppl prefer the city center experience with all the commodities (and noise :) around so this is...
We were desperately looking for a place to stay at half past ten at night when we around this little hostel. Super nice staff and great prices. Clean and well equipped. Our room smelled a bit of scented candles, but I think it was just to fit in with the atmosphere of this hostel.
We stayed two nights at Homeplanet Hostel in the Egypt Apartment.
+ Very friendly and helpful personell
+ Very nicely decorated room
+ Reasonable prices
- The beds were just cruel. The double bed was just too small for two people and the matress was probably quite old. With every turn, the bed made loud noises and was very uncomfortable
- One of the single beds in the apartment almost fell apart...

The hostel is nice, the location is decent, suitable for backpackers. If you stay alone, you can meet some foreign friends, eat and chat together. There's a supermarket downstairs and a subway station nearby. Besides, for this price in Berlin, don't be picky, it's really a good deal.
My brother’s first ever hostel stay and he was fine. Checkin was via a box outside, we never saw a person working there the whole time! Room was good, twin room, really comfy beds. Showers were only one temp with a press button start which ran for about 20 seconds a time! Sure to have a quick shower! Location was great, underground stop right out the front, 2 stops from a central station. Natural...
Small dorms which could use big windows and air. Not enough showers and toilets for all the people - waiting lines
The rooms have interesting names, creative decorations and are well maintained (plus you get your own locker with a key). The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The hostel is easily accessible from public transportation.
You would get somehing worse for the same price in many other cities in the world. So i dont complain about quality. They could improve the cleanliness especially in the toilets, and check in at 3 pm is definitely too late.
Extremely good for the price, the location was excellent (literally 20 seconds away from the main subway line that goes North-South). Friendly service, cozy rooms, I mean what else can you ask from a 1-star hostel. Would recommend every time.

Slamba hostel is located in a busy street with tram (rail publictransport) stopping infront.
That makes the rooms (located at front) noisy till late at nigth.
Rooms have no airco so windows are used for ventilation and cooling.

The hostel is in a vibrant part of Augsburg above KFC and with plenty of food and bars on walking distance
Beds are very soft but clean
A few nights here. Rooms are good. Hallway needs updating. Overall a good night sleep
Clean room and bathroom, nice and helpful staff. Also inexpensive.
Cool and serene environment with wonderful location.
Bed is too soft for me, but it is excellent for the price!
First impression of the house, the hostel is situated in, was not the best, but after entering the actual hostel it was great. 100% recommend this place if you are looking for calm and comfort! Myself and my partner stayed here for one night and it was such a cool experience. Cozy, Safe and Great Location! I booked the Minimal Hostel for two nights in November. I stayed in a co-ed room that had six beds. This was my first time staying in a co-ed room. It was great as always. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were always clean.
The hotel is located in the courtyard on the 4th and 5th floors of an office building. The rooms are basic but clean, the internet is fast, and the shower doesn't get hot. The city center is a 5-minute walk away. There is no breakfast, and it's a bit noisy at night. The reception closes after 10:00 PM.
At firstvwe struggked to find the hotel...due to our own ignorance, not following directions properly. We we tbtobthe first hotel to check in then down the road to the hotel we we had a room reserved. The room was lovely , clean, well equipt with everything we needed. The kitchen was amazing, fresh milk for us, cereals and tea and coffee for us to have use of free.
Tge kitchen was also free for us...
Well located.
Good for a short stay in the city.
Right in the city center, everything within walking distance.
However, it's also quite noisy and poorly soundproofed.
The bed is very comfortable.
The staff is nice and friendly, the location is good. Bit hard to get in, it's a 5 story climb. Bathrooms have very little privacy and the shower isn't easy to operate nor does it work properly. Rooms are pretty clean and sleek but the beds are a bit hard. Reception room is wierd, there is no desk. Another plus is the large amount of sockets in a room.
Wow 10/10

Although quite shabby on the outside, the minute we walked through the door, we were so comfortable. We were greeted by the lovely Sophie and given the tour of the hostel. It’s super quirky and unlike anything we ever stayed in. To top it all off, the garden was amazingly lush and quiet and the coffee was awesome.

The hotel itself was fine and the chap at the counter was very helpful but just be sure to understand what kind of "hotel" it is. Overall a great experience to stay at Kiezbude hotel! At first it seems kinda shady and dingy BUT its actually very clean and cute! It’s definitely an aesthetic that not everyone likes, but me and my sister found it very funny and authentic. good hostel, and bathroom clean
Very noisy as school students are playing catching all night long and no one in the hostel managed them
The location is great, very close to Stadthaus metro station. However, the shower facilities are quite old, with issues like clogged drains and uneven water flow. The girls' room has a strong smell of paint or wood, which is a bit unpleasant.
The shower was really uncomfortable; I had to keep pressing it for the water to come out (maybe I was using it wrong).
But the location is pretty good, right in the west-central part of the city.
Would it be more expensive during cherry blossom season?
The window faces a children's playground, which is a bit noisy during the day and not ideal for naps.
The bed sheet was funny. I noticed a hole...
The location of the hostel is a bit scary. So, the way to the hostel in the evening was scary.
The check-in time was so, so slow. I arrived 10 minutes before the check-in time, but I was only able to check in after 30 minutes.

Very poor value for money, especially for a hostel with shared bathrooms.
A clear recommendation
Very friendly receptionist, single room nicely furnished, clean and quiet. Toilet and shower were also clean and nice, the shower pressure was pleasant. The kitchen is well equipped and clean.
Very clean hotel with shared shower and toilet. Quiet place outside the city. 4-bed room. Ideal for nights passing through.
We were able to check in late thanks to the excellent service.
Nice and affordable if you only need to sleep. No breakfast included. Staff is nice, but people might be loud and drinking alcohol (depends on the mixed dorm if that's what you booked). Bunk beds are low, careful not to hit your head.
Good friendly clean .. you dont have to pay 100$ a night .. pay 20$ a night and spent the rest in the entertainment inside the city:))
Pros:

Cons:
Bathrooms and showers are on another floor than the bedrooms.
