good hostel, and bathroom clean

Very noisy as school students are playing catching all night long and no one in the hostel managed them

The location is great, very close to Stadthaus metro station. However, the shower facilities are quite old, with issues like clogged drains and uneven water flow. The girls' room has a strong smell of paint or wood, which is a bit unpleasant.

The shower was really uncomfortable; I had to keep pressing it for the water to come out (maybe I was using it wrong).

But the location is pretty good, right in the west-central part of the city.

Would it be more expensive during cherry blossom season?

The window faces a children's playground, which is a bit noisy during the day and not ideal for naps.

The bed sheet was funny. I noticed a hole in it the first time I put it on, so I went to the front desk to change it. After changing it and taking it to the third floor, the hole was still there, and it had moved from the edges to the middle. I was too lazy to change it in the heat, so I just made do.

One negative point is that there seems to be a dance studio downstairs, and there are children hanging out in the stairwell that belongs to this part of the hotel during the day. Of course, it could be a family, so I'll have to check it out.

There's no air conditioning, and the room gets direct sunlight in the afternoons during the summer, which can be a bit warm.

There is need to improve on the check in times . I ended up not checking in because my flight was delayed and they insisted that checking in time was between 4pm - 7 pm . I ended up booking elsewhere to cater for my flight that was landing around 9 pm .
