Super hotel We really enjoyed our one night stay. We arrived early in the afternoon and had a swim in the pool and had sauna me very nice. Afterwards we had a swim in the lake. We had a balcony with sea view. Really nice. Big room. Everything was perfect. We had dinner in the restaurant which we enjoyed. We did not have breakfast which we considered a bit expensive.

The room size is decent, staff are friendly. Only thing is they do not provide any toothbrushes. The only thing provided is towels.

If you want to check in before 2pm, they want a 25 euro fee. Seems a bit excessive. The toilet in the room also made a refilling noise for over 15 minutes whenever flushed. That said, the room itself was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location too, very close to train and bus stops.

I stayed at this hotel and had a very good experience. The hotel manager is extremely professional and well organized. The night shift staff member was also very kind and helpful.

We booked the presidential suite. It was a very clean, nice and big appartement. Space enough! Big terrace. Family Friendly, in fact designed for Familys with every consideration put to the forefront of the concept, I was amazed at how brilliant the Hotel has focused on looking after the needs of families. Nice hotel, lovingly furnished. The staff is very attentive and friendly. It is worth eating here, there are delicious creations and there should be something for everyone. The only downer was, I had a stain on the bed sheet. Instead of exchanging it, the bed was put in and good. I would have expected more, too bad.

We stayed here for 2 weeks. It was friendly, clean, perfectly located, easy for families like ours with a young child, quality spa treatments (Aloe vera facial is heavenly!) and fantastic restaurant. ONLY thing missing was tea/coffee in the room but apart from that, we were really happy with everything.

Everything was very clean and tidy. The balcony was a bit lacking, for example, for drying laundry and, of course, for sitting. Otherwise, everything you need was there.

The bizarre use of Denglish as a language grates a bit... trying too hard to be cool. But that's the only niggle, everything else was fine. The rooms could do with more and better lighting, especially for those of us who have to work on holiday. Loved the free early bird coffee on the roof terrace each morning!

Steg 1 review: food was OK but nothing special. Be aware that you can only pay with EC (German debit card) or cash. No credit cards accepted. As a foreign tourist this is challenging. For a restaurant being part of a hotel I would have expected credit cards are accepted.

We had a wonderful stay at the Garner Hotel Elmshorn by IHG. From the moment we arrived, Cavolin welcomed us warmly and helped us with great professionalism and a big smile.
