Comfortable hotel with good food. Decorated in traditional Cretan style. Convenient location, close to a busy street with shops and restaurants. On site there is a minimarket with all the Essentials. Sandy beach across the road. Active sports animation during the day and evening show-programs in European languages. Suitable for people of all ages, families with children and youth.

Location: 35 km East of Heraklion airport, 6 km from g. Hersonissos, in the resort town of Stalis, 50 m from the sandy beach across the road. A bus stop is 200 metres away.

Consists of 12 two-story buildings.

The hotel has 300 rooms.

Beach: public, sandy (across the street from the hotel), 60 m from the hotel, 1 line. The entrance to the sea of sand (in some places large stones). On the beach umbrellas, sun beds: free. Deposit towels (change of towels - in the mini market). Pool towels: free. At the pool umbrellas, sun beds: free of charge.

We accept credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, American Express.

Pets up to 5 kg, on request (possible charge).

Hiii! This May i went to the Cactus Beach Hotel in Stalis, Greece with two of my best friends. We had the best time there!! The resort is beautiful, the food was so nice and all the people were so nice and helpfull! The Pink Wave animation team was the best!! We had the best time with them and we did a lot of fun activities, Thank you very much to Nas, Lynn, Samuele, Gabriel, Lina and Alessia! We will definitely be back! The location was very nice, just a few steps away from the sea, where there is a nice beach. There was also a pub at the beach to get drinks and snacks: very relaxing. The Hotel was very well cared for, and very clean. There were several buildings with each their own pool, and a central swimming place with slides. Also, there was animation, from yoga and water noodling to bingo and disco. There are stairs, ramps and elevators, so it's also good to do for people with a walking disability. The food in the restaurant was actually very nice. A lot to chose from, nice environment, and people helping you to your table, sometimes with time to spare for a little joke. The reception was not consistent. Some were more friendly and helpful than others. The mini-golf was a disappointment. There weren't even tracks to play in, just holes and obstacles, you had to figure out yourself how to take them. The chess-game outside was cool. The people in the store were very helpful and nice. The Spa, actually belonging to the Cactus Royal hotel but also on our terrain, was excellent, I had a massage from Anja, she was great! What really was lovely was that the people from Cactus beach knew so many languages. Everyone seemed to know German, English, and French. And the lady from the spa even knew some Dutch.

Very professional people very professional service and with all inclusive you have food and drinks the whole time till 11 o’clock at night and you have early breakfast also . It starts at 4am, so if you have to travel to visit other places or do some activities you can get breakfast and start your day. So they think about everything. They are very polite very friendly and they care a lot about the residence of the hotel. It is also very safe here.

The best bart of the stay was the Staff, Gym needed to be paid, Chairs at the beach needed to be paid, Rooms wer outdated and super noisy, we had reserved 2 rooms and got 1 at the checking only the staff helped get us a second room and then we had to change the rooms 2 times, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

We arrived late at night where we were greeted by polite reception staff. We were given a bagguet each as we had missed the evening meal water was provided in our room (this was not replenished during our stay). Room was modern clean and bed comfortable ( lacking storage) housekeeping was every day and towels changed every 2nd day. No kettles in room but there was a hair dryer. Restaurants were also very clean and modern food was excellent plenty of choices. We used 2 of the ala carte restaurants during our stay great service from staff and again excellent food. Hotel beach is a short 2 min walk from entrance of hotel payment for sunbeds at 10 euros each but bar and snacks very accessible from the hotel beach bar. Alchol menu is vast lots of cocktails to choose from. Lovely well kept pool areas and grounds within the complex well looked after. Great holiday. Can't comment on the evening entertainment as we did not use this at night. We did notice there is no bar in the outside theatre where they hold the entertainment.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff a couple of things that let it down are it’s not anti smoking and people are even smoking around the kids pools/ areas, also there are no lifeguards/ staff around the pools, witnessed a few accidents on the slides as there was moons there directing people when to go down.

Good hotel for the adults and for children. Nice rooms and friendly service Staff. The only issue are the beach beds not for free. But the sea is wonderfull. You will surely enjoy your holiday here🙂

Nice place for families very clean lots of food choice … lots of entertainment pools lovely …. however watered down wine not a good idea!!
