Smaragdine Beach Hotel in Stalis

I want to share this is the most terrible place where I have been, they are very rude, evil people, I don’t recommend this place, there is no respect for tourists, it’s a pity that my acquaintance in Crete was exactly like that, that’s why this place is on the black list

We stopped the car for a while without getting out of it with my family and a gentleman came from the goldsmith's shop who told us, don't park here, friend, it's our hotel area (in Greek) while he immediately told us in foreign languages ​​no parking here . The above gentleman obviously did not understand that we are Greeks and spoke to us like that, while when we spoke to him in Greek and asked him to say at least one sorry, he replied that I will say sorry wherever I want. Unfortunately unacceptable behavior at the beginning of the tourist season.

Knowing what hotels in Greece, and even 2 stars, did not really count on a miracle, but with 1 visit of the room, I was a little surprised at the asceticism.
The room is small, renovated long ago.
For 11 nights: cleaned every day, changed towels 1 time, did not change bed linen, but changed every day.
Air conditioning chargeable, 6 € per day. Safe - 20 € and it is at the reception.
Breakfast is poor: eggs, cucumbers, tomatoes, bread, jam, some fruit, coffee and a few slices of cheese and ham are given separately, the amount depends on how well you behaved the day before.
On the veranda of the hotel, which is on the 2nd floor, in the evening, Mr. Law asked not to consume alcoholic beverages (beer, wine), although he himself was noticed for this several times.
Also, if he saw that we were going to the room with food, he asked not to do this anymore, since this is a hotel, not an apartment, and this also attracts ants. By the way, there are a lot of the latter, as well as the smell of dampness in the cabinets in excess.
Wi-Fi is free at the reception, it does not work in the rooms.
The refrigerator is small and heats up more outside than it cools inside.
Mister law & order, hotel owner, obsessive, curious.
There is a snack bar in front of the hotel, suitable for light meals and a magnificent beach. The city, the place is good, I recommend it. The hotel is not recommended.

Grumpy owner, room ok, in 10 days 2 x clean towels, bed sheets not changed ... Owner was sometimes unsolicited in room to close door of balcony, while we left that open for fresh air .... Breakfast minimal, but beautiful view from balcony with sea view ... Well 50 eu extra for that room, and air conditioning 8 eu a bit unfortunate.

Host is terrible, only thinks about money! Hygiene is minimal and it is very difficult to do the simplest things such as changing a towel that was already dirty before it was used!
