The service here was lovely from everyone we met. We had an executive triple room which was ok but quite small. Breakfast was very nice, but the hot food was not kept hot apart from the one containing pastries, the burners were not on either of the others on both mornings. Great spot though for all that Thessaloniki has to offer and very reasonable.

I’ve stayed at this hotel for the past 3 years and always had a great experience which explains why I choose it again and again. Until, on the 2nd day of my stay, early in the morning, a woman knocked and just entered my room while I was asleep. No permission. I was shocked. There is a problem with their savage system. Asked them to repair my toilet as flush doesn’t work. They didn’t repair it. You are expecting more comfort after paying that amount of money but hotel is really old and I don’t think it’s value of the money has given

The location is near to the center. The rooms are small but for me it was fine. My room had a balcony and a small desk. The personal was very friendly and the reception is open also in the night.

The hotel is conveniently located, and the rooms are very clean. Service is available 24 hours a day. The breakfast is good, with a reasonable selection and very fresh ingredients. There are also many coffee shops and snack bars nearby.

I was able to book a room for one night very quickly , the staff was super friendly and willing to help with everything we needed. Considering the price , it was very good for its value . I would definitely consider staying there again on my next visit to Rethymno

A fabulous family run hotel in a superb location. We ended up with a room at the top of the hill with stunning views of the mountains to one side and the sea the other. This hotel offers great value for money. Although the facade is small, it has quite a few rooms. The staff are all very responsible; when our water heater broke, we told the front desk, and they quickly sent someone to replace the set for us. Another visit the Palmyra did not disappoint, a well run hotel with spacious rooms with waterfall showers in the bathroom. Complimentary toiletries are nice bonus . Everything is mediocre, the pictures are misleading, rooms don't look like that. Breakfast is ok but the tables are not enough for a hotel that size. My friend and I stayed here mid September. Lots of positives and a couple of negatives. First negative, on arrival at about 11pm, our room had a double bed rather than the two singles I had booked. No good nearby beaches. Shuttle only runs a few times a day and is tiny. The room's fridge was half broken, and the freezer compartment was always open. Lots of ants everywhere. Food was good. The bar played weird and too loud music at most times. The pool is with saltwater, which gets very salty throughout the day.

You can't beat Olympic for the location, nor for the price. The bed was comfy, the breakfast was fine. Olympic has a pleasant terrace on the top floor, where you can sit and read and watch the planes take off from the nearby HER airport. My only complaint was that the smallness of the bathroom meant no towel racks, only a couple of hooks behind the door.

Below average The nice lobby is deceiving. The rooms are very old and mine was very dark (the only windows faced a skylight well). Decently clean but I found a hair in the jam at breakfast (I guess that it can happen but it is the first time that it happens to me, in the more than 30 years in which I have been travelling). It will not be my choice at my next visit at Crete University.

The hotel entrance is not easy to find, but the island itself is not big, and it is very convenient to go anywhere in the city. You can find the entrance by asking. It is very cost-effective and the transportation is also very convenient.

Perfect for night next to the airport. 5 minute drive from Heraklion Aiport and super friendly staff with a 24hr desk. Have stayed here a few times and each was great. The hotel is good on an investment-return basis. ALL inclusive concept. There is not a huge amount of food, as in some other hotels, but it is very well prepared and tasty. The Hotel is near to the beach. The food and drinks are not qualitative. Despite the fact there was hot kitchen offered, some things were made for them to be there.
