Zante Atlantis Hotel in Laganas

Spent a thoroughly enjoyable 5 night stay in September 2025. From the moment we arrived we were treated as friends. All the staff were tremendously welcoming particularly Makis who made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for him.

Breakfast was fabulous, having breakfast in Greece I expected a continental style so I was so impressed to see Bacon and a selection of eggs available. Yes Brits abroad but we like what we like. 😊

The rooms where spotless and cleaned everyday, I oved the touches of the coffee makers, shower caps, sewing kits, slippers etc.

The staff take noise levels very seriously, apologies to our neighbours when we were laughing a little to loudly one evening. That said it was handled well and it was about everyone enjoying there stay with the minimum of disruptions.

The pool area was really nice, plenty of room around the sun loungers and no mad rush to reserve them, a plus point for a September break.

The main strip was about a 15 minute walk which was fine.

Summary, a fabulous stay made better by the staff. Would I return? Not one to return to the same place but I would make an exception for Zante Atlantis.

Makis on reception was very welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We couldn't fault him. Rooms were pleasant - the shower was very good and hairdryer great! We had a room facing the pool. The facilities in the room were good. The rooms were a bit dull as the window isn't very big so we didn't get much sunlight in the room. The balcony did get sun for lots of the day so was good to sit out on. Breakfast wasn't great. Often not very warm although the spread looked impressive. Staff were friendly. Cleaners were very good. We had new towels when requested. We stayed during the last week it was open for the season and sadly this did impact our stay as the hotel was packing up around us. There was no orange juice at breakfast for the last 2 days - just a blackcurrant squash drink. The food choices were reduced too. There were no soft drinks available on the last night - I was offered a cocktail instead but didn't want this! We saw everything being packed up. There was a limited option for alcohol as well on the last night. There were no parasols on the last day as the sunbeds were being packed away. I do understand the hotel had to pack up but it shouldn't really happen while guests are still staying.
In summary- staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is good. The pool was great but don't go in the last week of October!

My wife and I have just returned from a trip to Zante that included 5 nights at the Atlantis Hotel in Laganas. The hotel is situated in a quiet back street about 20 minutes walking distance from the main beach. The reception area is bright and clean. The rooms are well proportioned and have plenty of storage space and the furniture looks recently installed. The shower space is big with both overhead and handheld options. The room had a fridge and was well stocked with a kettle, water, wine, tea and coffee, toiletries and disposable slippers. The pool is a good size with sufficient sun beds to go round. The included buffet breakfast offered a varied choice of hot and cold options and was monitored and topped up on a regular basis by the attentive staff. Food and drinks were available throughout the day at very reasonable prices. Best of all was the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome by the staff on duty who greeted us and introduced themselves to us in particular, Mikis, the person on reception. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Lovely staff who couldn't do enough for you. We didn't like our room the first night we arrived and we were moved straight away. Marko at the front desk couldn't have been nicer as where all the staff. New room was lovely with all the modcons. Breakfast is always fresh but small selection. Only negative comment which isn't really a negative but the food at the pool bar/restaurant was always over cooked and dry eg. Anything with chicken. Myself and my group ranging from 15 yrs - 70 had the best time. Thanks so much

Absolutely fabulous 7 night stay at zante Atlantis hotel from 14th to 21st of October hotel is absolutely beautiful spotless great location off kalamaki road close to restaurant bars shops with everything you need staff are amazing and work really hard especially Irene the bar manager noting was to much trouble she went above and beyond very positive experience little gem of hotel. Thank you Irene for making stay pleasant.

A beautiful hotel very clean and staff are very helpful. Would definitely go back. The food is nice. Everyone works so hard to keep the hotel looking great.

Wow what a fabulous hotel in a great location. The Beach & main part of town was a 10/ 15 walk from the hotel, or just around the corner you can catch a bus, it also takes you to zante and other towns, there is also a ferry you can take to zante or other islands to explore greece. The staff all was fantastic & welcoming Markiss at reception was always chatting and smiling , we were treated like family. Rooms were spacious & spotless ive never seen a hotel staff clean so much, beds were very comfortable , fresh bedding & towels everyday, Fantastic value for money for 4 star hotel. Food and drinks were oustanding aswell as the staff espically Iren withb her special cocktails ,noiseb lever nyou are an incredible lady in everyway love ya x Very peacefull night sleep, noise level what noise. would i come back again , absoloutley..infact i have just booked a week in may next year see you all soon , wishing all the same staff are there..

Location is pretty decent. There's a laundry/dry cleaners opposite the hotel, with fast turnaround and there's an off-license next door.

The room service has been nothing short of spectacular. My freediver self and scubadiver roommate have often left sand in the balcony and bathroom, and we always come back to a super clean room. The breakfast is fairly varied, and the quality is consistent. I applaud the receptionists; very respectful and amicable. They are also quick to respond to any issue or query.

It would be nice if we didn't have to wear these wristbands, but I understand they serve a purpose. Also can the WiFi please be boosted during the daytime when more people are likely to use the WiFi? Some people need to make zoom calls for work/check emails whilst on holiday. The TV apps use Wi-Fi too, so it would be nice to take a daytime break and watch a movie etc. At night, the WiFi is pretty okay.

Overall, a decent hotel for what we paid for, and exemplary staff service.

Had a lovely week stay at the Atlantis. Staff are very attentive and really friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. A special thank you to Makis who greeted us with a smile from the day we checked in until our final day when saying goodbye.
Our room was newly refurbed and was very modern and calmy decorated. We were on the 1st floor with a balcony overlooking the pool.
Only gripe about the room was the shower in our bathroom which only had a shower curtain. Could do with a door on the shower cubicle as it was small, so water went everywhere over the floor when showering.
Plenty of sunbeds around the pool no rushing from other guests in the morning putting towels on them.
Buffet breakfast in the morning with plenty of variety to choose from.
Food is available for lunch and dinner, which was resonably priced.
Cocktails could do with revising as they weren't the best when served.
Payment for food & drinks is by card only, no cash is taken.
An easy 2 minute walk to restaurants along the main road and about 10 minute walk to the main strip for bars and clubs.
Easy 10 minute walk to the beach after we found and shortcut.
In all our stay was superb and would recommend the Atlantis if you are looking for a reasonably priced B&B hotel.
