Came to the Varres as at the end of our holiday my wife was admitted to hospital on the day we should have flown home. Moved to Varres Hotel as it is close if not the closest to the hospital. All the staff were brilliant and their shuttle service spot on , can’t fault the hotel or staff, and when we are back in Zakynthos will head for the Varres rather then a beach all inclusive hotel .

Excellent place! If you are in Zante for a quiet and peaceful vacation - Varres is a great place for that. Rooms are cosy, the pool is ultra clean and the staff is just perfect. 30 minutes to the port by foot, or 7-8 mins with a car. Shuttles were available for anywhere on the island. Hotel restaurant is just what you need for a cosy evening - food was great! Can’t wait for the next visit!

A nice hotel. The rooms were neat and well cared for, though the atmosphere felt a bit lacking (with one of the lamps it had a bit of an aquarium vibe, but that was mostly just funny). The Cactus Hotel is a vibe. Ice cold beer on tap, a balcony made for pretending you’re in a music video, and a logo so good I’d happily wear it on a T-shirt. This is a nice hotel with a lot of character. The Veranda bar overlooks the ocean and has a very pleasant atmosphere. There is a beach across the street and a grocery store next door. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is old, I changed several rooms, all except the rooms with a sea view have a stale smell of old age, breakfasts are like Groundhog Day every day, the same thing, they don't even change the omelette to fried eggs. We had a good stay here although we didn’t have chance to use the pool it looked lovely and was well-maintained. We only had a short time in Tinos but the time we had was lovely. Really enjoyed our 2 week stay We booked B&B but eat once and was thankful we didn’t go all inclusive. Rooms were nice with AC and the grounds are spacious. 2 lovely pools. We travelled with our friends so we had 2 rooms. The rooms have no balconies , no views at all. There is only a wall front of the window. You can only see the wall. Nothing else. The weather was amazing (some days a little windy)- but due to the hotels great location we could walk to the beach within 3-4 mins or take the bus to Chania. The service and openness of all staff is spot on and we have throughly enjoyed it. Looking forward to coming back next season.

Had a lovely stay at Corinna Mare. The location was ideal, with great views of the sea and good transport links to both Chania town and beaches. Stunning. We had one of our best holidays here, the pool area overlooking the beach is just beautiful, with an infinity pool that was really quiet throughout our stay. Small but kept spotless. We got a free breakfast buffer with our rate and the spread was outstanding. Great location in that you can walk to the Central Market area in 5 minutes.

My stay started out very rocky but the night manager was amazing! Mary the manager went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied with our room. Breakfast was amazing! Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Parking was close by for in a grave for 12 Euro per night Staff was friendly a the room was small but clean.

Close to center of town with shopping and restaurants. Nice lobby. Bathroom was very small. Good water pressure. Room had a musty smell and I wasn’t able to move. Unfortunately we have to leave a very bad review. The place was not bad but do not expect parties every day every moment like Mykonos, it's quite more calm. But the worst part is what happened with the service in our room. We forget our speaker (music box, brand Wonderboom) in the bathroom and after the cleaning service the speaker disappeared. They were rude and bossy from the beginning. There is actually fee for everything you do in this place. Sit by pool fee, sit by the beach a fee they provide no towels so you gotta bring or purchase your own. Use the gym fee. Its fees galore. This island is known as the party island of the islands. This was first time staying here in the far-out hotel. They say you get what you pay for. In this case it is very accurate. The rooms are mainly to get some sleep that's it. The hotel has a definite party vibe. However, absolutely everything you do cost a fee. Far out camping is not good. The tent was dirty , dusty and had many holes. For a cheap place we expected it to be minimal and not great , however it was bad. The dust could have been wiped and holes covered up. The bed i stayed in was extremely uncomfortable, and had missing planks in it. The resort is directly located at the beautiful Mylopotas Beach. I booked the beach resort but it was not opened as is the beginning of the season. I got a free of charge upgrade to the hotel and got a very nice and spacey room with all what is needed. It had also a huge terrace.
