Excellent hotel. The cuisine is excellent. The service is excellent, clean. Very beautiful place. Panoramic view from the room windows to the sea. I liked it very much. I definitely recommend it!!!

Cannot complain about the location, really beautiful place. Staff were mostly fantastic. Room was tired and needs updating. No water left in room, all bars closed upon arrival and therefore nothing to eat or drink upon arrival. Food was fine. Not a good selection at all, very small offering. I survived on greek salad and grilled fish. Baklava excellent! Lots of weird rules around the All Inc. Several tiers for drinks, which I have never seen before, seemed very odd. Late checkout expensive at €80. Cannot continue to use AI when have checked out, which I have never seen before at an AI. All in all, I had a nice time here. But I wouldn't come back. Other places available for much better, for less money.

We have just spent a week at Miramare , absolutely loved it , the staff were great always happy to help and chat , every where was spotless and the food was lovely always a good selection , just a short walk to a gorgeous sandy beach , 15 minutes into Agios Nicolas , it is very steep in places around the hotel is if you have Mobility issues but there were buggies we saw taking people around , a shout out to the bar staff the girls were all lovely so friendly and chatty , manilto ( I hope that’s spelt right ) thank you for answering some questions from a previous visit 40 years ago 😊many thanks everyone for a lovely holiday will definitely recommend you to everyone

The hotel itself is good. The food and service are good. The massage, on the other hand, was very disappointing. Instead of a deep-tissue sports massage, we were only lightly stroked, despite repeated requests to apply more pressure. The reason given was that the masseuse was pregnant, which unfortunately is not my problem a deep tissue massage being some lightly strokes. They could‘ve told us in the beginning, which we would‘ve accepted and could‘ve decided on our own whether to still do the massage or not. In addition, the massage was supposed to last 55 minutes, but only lasted 45 minutes. The sauna was so cold that I got cold legs. Too bad about the money. As compensation, we were offered a relaxing massage…

Bed and breakfast only. Fantastic seaview room - we were upgraded free and I'm glad as our room was really spacious. Exceptionally clean everywhere. Pool areas lovely and we always found a bed. Gym - some equipment older but new stuff was being delivered whilst we were there. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice. As others have said lots of steps and hilly which was fine for us but not sure how accessible it would be for people with mobility issues. Walk to lake took about 20 minutes. Definitely recommend comfy shoes. Almyros beach, area for hotel guest 15 euro for beds inc bottle water. You can put bed charge on your room bill or pay by card which we wished we'd known before as had no cash with us so had to use the rip off cash machine in the hotel.

Great views and beautiful outdoor areas. The standard of the rooms varies significantly and it is random what kind of room you will get. The room was clean but worn and the view was limited. Pool areas are clean and beautiful. Food is ok but made for a large crowd. Snacks in the pool areas are poor: only donats, small pies and some times watermelon. All inclusive is not worth of the price.

Mixed Experience – Stunning Views but Lacking in Key Areas The hotel offers incredible views and plenty of clean, spacious pools, which were highlights of our stay. Staff were friendly, our room was large with a great balcony, and housekeeping was consistent. The caddy service was useful when available. However, several aspects fell short. The food lacked variety, especially for vegetarians – mostly salad and veg every night – and even my meat-eating partner wasn’t impressed. The à la carte restaurant had a beautiful setting and friendly staff, but the food was poor. The hotel is set on a steep hill, involving many stairs, and there’s no shuttle or bus service, so we had to rely on taxis. The spa staff were lovely, but the massage was disappointing and overpriced compared to what I’m used to. Pool bar drinks tasted off, and the snacks were the worst we’ve had abroad, despite being all-inclusive. The on-site shop was overpriced, and evening entertainment was minimal – just someone playing piano/organ, which we found dull. Overall, while the location and staff were great, the hotel lacks in food, entertainment, and accessibility, which impacted our experience.

We spent 7 nights at this lovely hotel. Our room was basic very clean. Bathroom was OK. The shower was an issue the shower screen was on the wrong side so when the shower was in use the floor was soaking wet .we reported this and was given extra mats for the floor which did the job .we was half board we could not fault the food a good choice of food. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. The bar has a wonderful view with seating inside or outside. Again the staff were amazing. The bar manager was brilliant he always spoke to everyone and was very friendly and funny. I highly recommend the spa i had a treatment which was brilliant. The only thing I would say about the hotel is there is alot of steps so not ideal if you have mobility issues

So, where to start. The staff definitely make this place special. They are all very friendly and did so much to make our stay a truly wonderful one. From the moment we arrived to the morning we left they all showed us nothing but kindness, and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is perfectly placed for the short walk into Agios Nikolaos. There are also two beaches within easy walking distance. We had a pool room with a sea view, but discovered it was very public as there was a walkway right in front of it and very little shade. I requested a parasol but unfortunately this wasn’t available due to the high winds. Instead we were upgraded to a beautiful suite which was much more private and offered plenty of shade all day. We opted for All inclusive Premium (Gold Band) because we wanted the convenience of not worrying about paying for extras. We did get some extra types of drinks, including bottles of wine with A la carte meals every night if you’d like it (and for us, it was entirely worth it), a free massage each, room service, mini bar topped up every day, free safe and theme nights all included. The problem is the scheme is very confusing and some drinks aren’t included particularly a Mojito which is my personal favourite. It’s confusing because there are several tiers of Accommodation. Bed and Breakfast, half board, all inclusive and all inclusive premium. The food and drinks menus are marked with White and Gold flags to indicate which drinks were included for each category and quite frankly it makes no sense. I my opinion to simplify the packages all normally available cocktails should be included if you’ve paided for all inclusive irrespective of what colour band you have paid for. Then maybe have branded drinks for the highest band. The entertainment can only be described as poor I’m afraid, it’s a mixture of some of the worst piano playing and singing we’ve ever heard. However the Cretan evening was excellent. It was a supplement plus drinks for all other boards but included in the Gold Band. This in itself made the upgrade worth it. The rooms are a little dated, ours had a stereo with a cassette player built in, but again, they were well appointed and the toiletries were excellent quality. There were areas of the public spaces that have some issues with missing or broken fixtures. This is particularly important as there are some very steep drop off and stairways. The pools are cleaned regularly but along with the sun beds and parasols could do with upgrades. The food was ok, pretty standard fare for all inclusive these days. We especially enjoyed breakfast and the A la carte restaurant, and the views were breathtaking from all areas of the hotel. We spent all week gazing out to sea, and it’s not anything we’ll forget anytime soon. The staff, the views, the whole experience, we would return. The only major caution we’d add is that you do need to have a reasonable level of walking ability to get around. There are a few lifts

Lovely hotel with great views. We went half board and were very pleased with the food and service. Rooms were very clean and lovely apart from small shower. Atmosphere was quiet and relaxed (April). Agios Nikolos was a beautiful town to potter around. We hired a car and would recommend day trips to: Spinalonga Island, Plaka, Sitia, Richtis Gorge, Cretan Olive Oil Farm Agios, Vassilakis Estate Free Olive tour, Krista and Ancient City of Lato.
