This is a lovely hotel built in the style of a Greek village going down a hill to the sea. Our room was modern with a lovely sea view. The buffet breakfast and evening buffet meal in the main restaurant were very good as were the other restaurants. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to make out stay enjoyable.

The hotel is in a perfect location, within walking distance to the city of Agios Nikolaos and a number of beaches. It is situated in a quiet location but also very central. There is a municipal parking 1 min from the hotel with reasonable prices. I really enjoyed the buffet breakfast with very big variety and good quality of products.

Our room wasn't ready (for two people they had given us a room with 5 beds!). They gave us another room number 311. A real scandal, impossible to take a shower, the shower head is in the bathtub and the bathtub is very small. I am 1.53m tall and weigh 65kg, impossible to turn around without flooding everything. Nice quiet clean hotel set off a quiet bay about 35 mins walk from the centre of Agios Nikolaos. The staff were friendly and there was a good selection for breakfast. We were in main building with a garden view and the room was a good size with a mini fridge and kettle. We had a wonderful stay at Mirabella Apartments. The studio was comfortable and had everything we needed. The ocean views from our balcony were beautiful. My husband swam over a mile each morning right in front of the property. Also, the staff were super friendly. One added bonus was the ping pong table. We played quite a few fun games.

It was my first time visiting Greece and I was definitely not disappointed. The hotel really deserves 4*. The environment is large and maintained. The food did not disappoint either. Lovely place, lovely people. Not their fault it was raining. There is no indoor pool at Cretan village, surprising as it is so large. Nowhere for people to go when the sun is not shining. Covered bar next to reception not open through the day, bit of a con having only the pool bars open when the weather is bad, Only one bus a day to Heraklion 9.15am back at 13.30pm. when you get to town, go upstairs...

We stayed there four nights in April 2025. Room ( 2 pers.) was recently renovated. Kitchen was brand new. So was the kitchenware. The view from a seaside room is fantastic especially for sunrise ( seaside rooms overlook the pool and terrace. this is the most relaxed place on earth.. great family run apartment complex. great setting.. absolutely outstanding we have been here many times and will keep returning if you like swimming or snorkelling there is no better place to do it safely

We went very early in the season so it was very quiet. Our apartment was spotlessly clean with a stunning view that I would never tire of. It's out of the way so a car is pretty essential unless you want a long walk or just intend staying at the resort/pool all the time.

Our stay was great, I wish the towels were a little thicker and change every day, also we could have had more coffee bullets for expresso machine.
