Lovely hotel, super location on the beach short walk to centre (lake) 5 mins only, supermaket outside, reasonable spa, lovely room nice decor, amazing amaneiteis - Cool Clarins bottle red color, breakfast restaruarant on 5/F overlooking the sea, infinty pool all great

Wonderful stay! Not far from the city center, the pools are nice and the staffs are friendly. Breakfast was so good and they even have live musician playing for dinner

Lovely property with lovely stuff and wonderful facilities. The half board may be worth skipping as €100 goes a long way at the town centre just down the street.

Lovely location, just minutes walk from the centre, where lovely restaurants and bars.

I’m not your normal busybody who leaves reviews for anything I am however exceptionally fussy and this by far is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in having visited many hundreds of hotels over the last 40 years the room the staff the food everything was superb and the location is fantastic

Stayed at NIKO for a long weekend in mid October - we had the BEST weather (sunny and warm but not too hot) and really enjoyed our time there. The views are just stunning (definitely recommend sea-view rooms)

Amazing food (actually too good). Only downer is a 100 euro "climate crisis tax" slapped on your bill at the end. If you're going to obligatorily add 100 euros to a bill. You should say this at the time of booking

When do we draw the line on this? A "water crisis tax" of 20,000 euros slapped on a check out bill? I realise it's not all their fault

Get a Bungalow on the north side of the hotel. You'll have your own sunbeds right on the water. The area offers a few things to do but you'll never want to leave the hotel

Gem in Greece Absolute best surprise hotel. Loved everything about it. From service to very big rooms, lovely food, other guests etc. Will definitely return.

Well located not far from the marina and the city center, this hotel seems to be surviving. The rooms are clean and the bedding is comfortable. In the bathroom, a tiny bathtub doubles as a shower

The hotel is in a perfect location, within walking distance to the city of Agios Nikolaos and a number of beaches. It is situated in a quiet location but also very central

There is a municipal parking 1 min from the hotel with reasonable prices. I really enjoyed the buffet breakfast with very big variety and good quality of products

The location is excellent, right next to the beach and many bars

The staff doesn't seem familiar with the restaurant's rules. We had drinks included (1/4 wine and 1/2 water per person), and there were no problems with the water, but we had to ask for the promised 1/4 wine

To secure your valuables in the room, you have to pay an additional €3. 50 per day and request a (huge) key from reception. A strange practice for a four-star hotel these days

First the negatives, the single room I was in was clean, but in need of a general update; there was also a safety issue where the gap between the end of the bed and the wall where the TV was fixed, was so narrow that you had to crane your neck to avoid a collision

The hotel is a city hotel, and shouldn’t be compared with large all inclusive hotels. The facilities are fine, it’s well organised, and pleasantly compact, and very close to a beach and the town centre

This is an excellent 3* hotel with a very relaxed atmosphere. The bedding towels changed everyday. The rooms are perfect ,clean and Greek. The food was very good and something for everyone

The hotel staff are one big family and brilliant, the room staff really work hard to keep everyone happy, restaurant staff very attentive and quick tockear and clean, 24 hkur reception very experienced, I even experienced Greek dancing with the manager

The location couldn't be any better, 1 min marina beach and excellent walks around the peninsula from Marina to the port and lake this way is a flat surface to walk it

As previous reviews have stated, there are many more positives than negatives with this hotel

The additional charge for air conditioning is a rather salty 8eur/day/person, and the power of the air conditioning leaves much to be desired. The facilities are a bit shabby but clean

The room was cleaned every day. The ladies who done breakfast always welcomed us every morning with a cheery greeting and a nice choice of buffet. The hotel is in the best location just a short walk to everything

On Angela's advice we took the Little train tour into the mountains to the ancient village of Krista which was very interesting and worthwhile trip. There are plenty of different trips available

Top of my review must be Angela and George who work on reception, they are both really friendly and helpful, they advised us where to eat, the best beaches, places of interest to visit, Angela even found me a good shop to purchase a lovely handbag, nothing was too much trouble! A room with a sea view is a must, the view from our balcony was beautiful

The room with the sea view was fantastic. The room was clean and cleaning is done both on request and without. The breakfast was tasty and surprisingly versatile considering the star rating, the products were fresh

Lovely balcony and amazing view. A kitchen I could make a meal in. Comfy bed. A small problem in the room which was speedily sorted. Friendly and welcoming staff. A short walk into the main town areas and beach.

The room was incredible, it was so large with a fully equipped kitchen. Everything was spotlessly clean. Our welcome was warm and friendly, and enjoyed sharing stories with the marvellous French-Canadian owner

Although only 5 min walk to the start of the action, can be challenging if you have mobility issues, but where in Greece isn't like that. Curtis and Karen (couple in their late fifties)

Fantastic location, 5 star view, large room with kitchenette, very clean, large balcony, exceptional value. Bernadette and her (family) staff were very engaging and super helpful

We were able to check in early which was a bonus and after we checked out they kindly looked after our luggage for 3 hours. The room had a good fridge and good kitchen amenities

The bathroom also had a bath with toiletries. The air conditioning was very good too. Reception were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again

It is like you enter in a building of 1970, but in a good and nostalgic way. you will not find fancy bathroom and a pool but a great great view of the port and whatever needed for your vacations

Had breakfast here every day of our stay. The owners are lovely and can't do enough for you. Crepes are fantastic and the Greek coffee is good too.

The couple owning the hotel is taking care of everything and they're 2 of the most lovable people we met at Crete

I stayed there a year ago and it was a lovely experience especially for the price. It is not an Americanized hotel meaning no air conditioning

Very nice people, and they have a gorgeous dog called Argos, always a bonus 🥰 We booked this last minute, as our original accommodation was cancelled, so glad it was because this place is lovely

Ikaros is a family-run hotel, and you are made to feel welcome. The owners can't do enough to help you. It is well located, close to the harbour and the town

It has a traditional feel to it, and you can choose breakfast as an optional extra. We didn't bother as we had a fridge in the room to keep milk, yoghurt, and fruit for breakfast

There is a kettle and cups, but I would recommend taking your own mug. The beds were comfortable, and there is ample storage space

Central to everything really!! It has a tiny lift up to a beautifully decorated room. The view isn’t great, but I enjoyed watching the cats and locals go about their day

Bring a mug if you want a cup of tea, as the cups are tiny. There’s a small fridge big enough for keeping your mixers cold, and the air conditioning works great so nice and cool in the evening

The hotel is in a great location with the town centre and beach both very close and the seaview rooms offering an incredible view of the bay. The room itself was clean and comfortable

We rested at the hotel in early October 2025. First of all, I want to note the professionalism of the manager Tanzel - he will always tell you about the shops nearby, about the order in the hotel, etc

Regarding the hotel - Mistral bay has a great location - 1 coastline of the sea and near the town center - very convenient! The rooms after renovation - we really liked ours (especially the direct view of the sea)

There was a fridge, two mugs and a kettle. We had half board and the food was very good. I am vegetarian and was never stuck for choice. Lovely Greek salads and desserts. The hotel is very clean and well maintained

We stayed at the Mistral Bay Hotel and were very happy. The hotel is modern and the Premier Sea View room had the most amazing view. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom modern with a powerful shower

We must thank Tanzeel for all his help. Anything you needed to ask he was there with a smile. There are 62 steps to reach this hotel BUT this winter a lift is being installed from the road to the reception

Breakfast wasn't included in my reservation but the hotel is very centrally located close to the lake, with plenty of restaurants and bars, so there were plenty of places to eat

Overall, good hotel within very easy access to the centre and lake

The location in the middle of the town is great for being in the centre, but parking is just a free-for-all on the streets surrounding, and the streets are narrow, so it's not really ideal if you have a hire car

I stayed 4 nights and it was my first time in Crete, enjoying the sights and also visiting family who had recently moved to the area. The room was very spacious with a large balcony and a side view of the lake

We had a room on the lake side wich was simple, clean and nice with a incrediblle view with the only disadvantage being the bathroom wich was small, We felt that the price we paid was appropriate for the quality of the room

There is also a nice lounge and terrace overlooking the lake and the seafront is 2mns away. Price was very reasonable for late May. Will definitely book again for my next visit!

This is a very nice hotel near the marina, a bit away from the chaos of the center of A. but still close to restaurants, the beach, etc. The perfect location in my opinion. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful

We arrived around midnight, reception was closed but easy to get in. Breakfast was continetal, fantastic. The room was amazing, especially the tub on the patio. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of pillows

From the moment we entered the hotel until we checked out, we were made to feel very welcome guests. We had a room on the 3rd floor with our own very private balcony , sun loungers and jacuzzi!! It was amazing

Overlooking sports running track and the sea. Wish there was instructions how to use the minipool. Our fault we could have asked. We found a sandy beach close by too. Visit Jollies bar a few doors along

Had a 2 night stay in the Deluxe Double Room with seaview and minipool. The room is spacious and nicely decorated. Large balcony area which had sun loungers, table and chairs plus the minipool

It located a few minutes walk to the centre of Ag. Nik and within spitting distance of the sea. Victoria and Stavros are excellent hosts, would definitely return to stay again

Nice location too, short walk to town and the beach but not right in the centre so it's still nice and peaceful. We will visit again if we return to Crete for sure

Great hotel! If you're not too pretentious, the value is exceptional. The hosts are friendly and the cleaning standards are high (daily cleaning). This was very important for us (especially during this times)

Great place to stay when visiting the East of the Island. The vistas here are breathtaking, wheather it's the moon rising over the golden mountains or the multitude of corals to explore

The hotel has a lovely bar with great service. From the minute I arrived they really took care of me - bar lady bringing me a drink upstairs as she noticed I was hot and bothered

Nice touch! Receptionist lent me a charger for my phone overnight. Other bar lady got me towel for the beach. Chamber maid got me more milk. Nothing was too much trouble at all

Lovely Stay We Did Not To Leave My wife and I had a lovely stay, the concierge at arrival was very polite and helpful and he couldn’t do enough for us, we had everything we needed for our stay in the room, including a safe and air conditioning, the views from our room over the harbour were lovely

Have just spent a week in this hotel and had a marvellous time. Continental breakfast in room each morning to set you up for the day. Room kept beautifully clean each day

Reception staff helpful and went out if their way to help. Going on a half board basis, you will be issued with a voucher to be used in a restaurant close by and it is delicious

Our room was perfect, with a balcony overlooking ageos Nicholaos and in the midst of this lovely town in Crete, walking distance from beaches, boat trips, restaurants and cute shops, Angel and Ross, the brothers that manage the hotel were mega helpful and friendly, snorkelling easy in all beaches, this has been one of our favorite holidays, open air cinema on a Tuesday night very cool and restaurants...

Excellent location Great room with lovely view overlooking the sea, met the owner fortini who was very friendly and pleasant , room was well equipped with everything you could need , our flight home was late at night and we asked could we keep the room on at a extra cost, but fortini explained that the room was already booked for new arrivals , but found us another room , we asked how much and how...

The kitchen was equipped with a 2 x ring hob, mini oven, pots and pans, fridge, etc. The washing machine and clothes drying rack were especially welcome. Fotini had very generously left basic kitchen supplies for us, I

Added to was the bonus of the delightful Fotini who welcomed us warmly and offered helpful advice & recommendations. We have a fabulous few days there & I would happily recommend Bellevue Suites to my family & friends

We found parking easily on the street outside the apartment building. Fotini answered the buzzer herself and showed us to our apartment. It was spotlessly clean and newly renovated

If i could give more stars zI would. The apartment was very comfortable, beautifully appointed with a stunning view from the huge balcomy & the kitchen well equipped

The icing on the cake was a hand written note & a small gift Fotini left on our door when we left. What charming thoughtful touch. Can"t recommend this place enough

Everything in the apartment was immaculate. There is a nice kitchenette with a sofa and a further balcony which was perfect (with a fridge, kettle and Nespresso machine and facilities to enjoy snacks/ light meal)

Traveling in greece was a great exerience and staying the Pension Mylos hotel surely made our trip unforgetable. The views were splendid and the hygiene incomparable
