We stumbled across this amazing place sort of by accident, having pre-booked other accommodation in the area but didn’t like it when we got there. So we had to find a suitable alternative very quickly. This place is magical! It’s in such a special place and has an wonderful energy. Had a really lovely stay at this hotel with family after staying at the sister hotel last year as a couple which didn't disappoint so we were familiar with the area and loved it. Well located not far from the marina and the city center, this hotel seems to be surviving. The rooms are clean and the bedding is comfortable. In the bathroom, a tiny bathtub doubles as a shower. The hotel is in a perfect location, within walking distance to the city of Agios Nikolaos and a number of beaches. It is situated in a quiet location but also very central. There is a municipal parking 1 min from the hotel with reasonable prices. I really enjoyed the buffet breakfast with very big variety and good quality of products.

Our room wasn't ready (for two people they had given us a room with 5 beds!). They gave us another room number 311. A real scandal, impossible to take a shower, the shower head is in the bathtub and the bathtub is very small. I am 1.53m tall and weigh 65kg, impossible to turn around without flooding everything. Also hello hygiene!!!! The pool closes at 5pm and the water is 19 degrees. Not at all

I was very pleased with my experience The room was very clean, and the hotel's central location made it easy to get around. The food at the hotel restaurant was tasty, and it was clear that they emphasized quality. I higly recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay!

Nice quiet clean hotel set off a quiet bay about 35 mins walk from the centre of Agios Nikolaos. The staff were friendly and there was a good selection for breakfast. We were in main building with a garden view and the room was a good size with a mini fridge and kettle. We stayed here following a 4 star holiday in Chania last year. Although the communal areas of the hotel are lovely, the pool areas and rooms need updating badly. We were given double rooms in the detached block which were cleaned with fresh towels daily. A very nice hotel situated overlooking the bay in agios Nikolaos. Rooms are light and airy with rooms cleaned on a daily basis with fresh towels. The staff are amazing and so friendly and the breakfast has a huge choice from fresh meat and cheese to yoghurt cereal and sausages and bacon. Cute hotel with great views in the breakfast area, and nice staff. Also, the view of the hill at the semi-private pools is beautiful. The cleaning was done thoroughly daily in our room. As a nice bonus, there is a cute cat that comes to join at breakfast time every other day.

We had a great time here in off-season, my rating is based on the price and value you get. We had only Breakfast (Agios Nicolais has a tons of choices for lunch and dinner) that offered all we expected e.g. fresh fruit, eggs, omelette - the only drawback was the coffee and juices are not fresh and came from a kind of “instant” machine, but if you want a good coffee you can order one from the barista...

Lovely place, lovely people. Not their fault it was raining. There is no indoor pool at Cretan village, surprising as it is so large. Nowhere for people to go when the sun is not shining. We spent two weeks in this paradise on earth. Our room and the huge terrace provided real luxury comfort. Very nice complex with a large pool and loungers. The equally beautiful beach is a 5-minute walk away. Parking is available directly at the house. The apartment is modernly furnished and very nice, although the space is a bit limited in the bedrooms and on the terrace. The kitchenette is large, although the kitchen utensils could have been more comprehensive to allow for proper cooking.
