Decent, could use some renovation as well as more accurate cleaning. Volunteer staff are super friendly and helpful! Bed bugs in my bed (maybe I was unlucky).

We agreed with some more people/guests that a year ago it was better. The hostel needs a proper maintenance and cleaning, if not a renovation. There's so much work but noone to do that job.

This hostel - hotel has spacious clean rooms and the pool is very nice and clean. The common areas are ok but noisy so not recommended it for work. The management is absent.

Very friendly service and good location (only about 7-10 min walk to Matala beach). The beds were very comfortable. We booked a private room and there were only rooms left with 2 separate beds so they offered to put both beds together. First time staying in a hostel and my experience for the weekend was amazing! Everything's really clean, tidy, the staff is really polite and helpful and I had the pleasure of having really good roommates and neighbors! It's close to the city centre so I definitely recommend it!

was staying here during off-season in December. my first staying at hostel, and staffs were super friendly and location was perfect. if you visit Crete, i would recommend this place most definitely. had best nights there!

Receptionist was very friendly and showed me around the hostel. The room is clean and bedsheets are already laid on the bed when I arrived. Kitchen and toilet is very clean too, overall an enjoyable experience staying at the hostel

Stylianos is a good host and he makes really good lemontseli. The dorms are ok, nothing special. Everything is under one ceiling except the toilets of course. Overall for hostel to spend a few nights very good

We had a nice time at this hostel. We booked a private room and realised that we was alone at this hostel. There is a big kitchen with everything you need. It was a great time!

Authentic experience of a local old hostel. Nothing fancy at all even for hostel standard. Location is great and has kitchen which is quite helpful. Staff are very friendly and good breakfast.

Owner was fantastic, friendly, and very interesting to talk to. Hostel was clean and cool. Free breakfast (hard-boiled eggs, toast, yogurt, coffee, orange juice, fruit, etc.) Only one bathroom per dorm. Reasonable prices 15euro. Pretty garden.

Relaxed easy going hostel. Great location and easy access to airport with bus stops outsides. Owner is fantastic and makes you feel at home. Breakfast included during summer months is a great bonus

Planned 3 days for crete stayed for 7 based solely off this hostel, ive made friends for life from all over the world and had experiences i thought existed only in movies. It sounds too good to be true but it is not! I highly recommend the roof rooms. It is incredibly affordable and close to everything. It is totally clean and the owners are super friendly and accommodating!

The price value is pretty amazing. It's not a fancy, polished hostel but it has charm and character. I would definitely come back. You can lock your valuables in an extra locker in the room. There is a rooftop with a lot of space but no spectacular view. The water pressure in the shower could be better. All in all pretty fine.

This place is very weird. For a youth hostel is doesn't make sense that I would get locked out at 1am...

Hostel is run by a family, and is close to everything in town. Its an older place, but clean and tidy with clean white sheet provided. If its hot, then a bed on the roof is more comfortable than inside. The owners are friendly and helpful to give advice on bus stations, surrounding areas, food, laundry centre etc. The port and bus stations are within walking distance, which is handy when coming in...

I like the vibe of this place, dont really like staying in hostels but in this one even for several days, went there several times over the last few years. Its located in really nice neighborhood, not far from city center and girls who work there are always polite and ready to help, they can give you tips about everything regarding local attractions. Its always fairly clean as well.

We booked a double standard room with was stunning! The interior decoration as well as the exterior, we’re just beautiful! The room was really clean! I was expecting a hostel but it’s not a hostel! It’s a really nice boutique hotel with minimal decoration and amazing amenities! I’d definitely visit it again! Thank you

The hotel is super nice and the staff is friendly and helpful. Only downside of the stay were the bathrooms, they are not divided by gender and the showers are way too little considering you must take everything with you. But that would be the only thing to improve, the hotel is beautiful and you will have for sure a great time here!

Simply the best hostel in Crete! Friendly/sweet staff, owners are all the time around making sure you get all you need. Clean rooms, comfy beds, cheap drinks (beer for 1,50 EUR), tasty sandwiches. Can’t wait to come back!

Very nice hotel safe and very clean.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Private attached bathroom, and a separate toilet, with toiletries, and towels. Location is very central. The feel is more of a 5 star hotel, than a hostel! I don't need to say much. Just take a look at all the pictures I have taken the photos. Its without any edit. See them for yourself.

Great location, in the core position of Chania. The amenities are new and clean, and the room is tidy. Maybe it’s off season so I haven’t seen any staff either check in nor check out, but it’s not bad for me.

It's close to the bus terminal and operates with the latest systems, so it's great value for money. I recommend it to everyone.

the room was fine. a bit expensive for one person but it was large - 4 beds. the owner is friendly. I had transport to get into the centre otherwise it might be a kilometre or two. it’s definitely in suburbia. it’s also up a couple of flight of stairs but as I said, nice big bright room with a balcony. it was fine

Clean, cheap rooms very close to the sea and Constantine always ready to serve his clients

This is the ideal place to save your load. As a slight complication, picking up the key may seem elsewhere, but it is down the road from the center and from the bus station. The station is a 20 min. walk away. In addition, Constantinos is a great guy who likes and willingly advises. Accommodation is very clean. There was no problem even early check-out, it was not necessary to hand in the door.
