Absolutely great resort! Great food and service The rooms are super clean; all area’s are clean and well maintained. The pools are awesome and never have to be afraid you can’t get a spot

Certain areas are busy but there are so many different areas that quieter spots can always be found. Perfect blend of family friendly and luxury

Hotel gym is well equipped, but it hosts local people as well which makes the weight room tight. Food - great but could be better and a wider variety. Bars and food areas located all over, big variety with great service

A big compliment for also thinking of early departures and late arrivals – full meal options are available from 6 AM until midnight. The bars are excellent, the cocktails are high-quality and well-prepared

The hotel, the staff especially deserve a big 5 star 🌟 review. Hospitality best we've had - ever. Combination of local mentality and hotel DNA made the trip incredible. The parts that need to be improved

The rooms are spread on the hillside, so you walk a while from the main building to the room

Unfortunately, there are too many flaws. It definitely needs some remodeling, and the hotel has a lot of flaws in general. The food was okay, but I think more fish and Greek cuisine in general should be offered

We had our honeymoon from 20-27. 09 and everything was wonderful. The food, the beach, the staff attitude and the restaurants. We received an upgraded room and a late check-out because of delayed flight for free

We have a beautiful room looking out to the sea. Our room is lovely and spacious, and the food and service by all the staff is really good

The beach has plenty of sunbeds and a bar, and the beach restaurant serves good food. We would definitely stay at this hotel again

She had the time of her life in all different swimming pools with slides. Rooms, open areas, pools and restaurant were getting cleaned all the time. The open buffet tasted nice and quite some variation

The children really enjoyed exploring all pools. Some reviews say you don’t need to reserve but by the time we got up the beds were all taken so I would suggest going out to the pools earlier

A child did a poo in the pool which had to close the splash park for the whole day to clean the water (which shows how tidy the hotel is) annoyingly it was closed for the day but a good thing it was being clean properly

Pizza, Gyros and Burgers were delicious! The only annoying thing is when people jump in instead of queuing like everyone else but this isn’t the hotels fault. We stopped in a family room which was big and clean

There’s boards with info on about the theme for tea, night entertainment etc. There are restrictions on the slides and the life guards are always on duty

Pool water is cold as a warning, more an issue for the adults I found as kids just jump in. Limited selection of drinks can get boring after a while

A cool place with excellent vibes, music and attractions for the entire family. The service is awesome in the beach bars

Ever time we asked for a dish we got it, even if they had to go out of their way to prepare. They were absolutely superb and we are sure to take that into consideration next year when we look for a place to vacate

We were there as a family at the beginning of April and had fantastic weather. We spent a lot of time by the pools, which were all clean and well-maintained. The rooms and the facilities were more than comfortable

Fantastic family friendly hotel with a beautiful beach! We've visited Pilot Beach Resort two years in a row with our very young children (1 and 3 years old) and it's been a wonderful experience both times

There’s also a new playground near the football grounds for kids aged 3 and up, which is a fantastic addition! I only wish they had something there for children under 3

The variety of food for kids is fantastic, although I wish they had boiled vegetables in the buffet options (like in all the other restaurants). The staff is wonderful, always friendly and accommodating to families

The buffet options at all the restaurants are excellent. The appetizers and main courses are always well-prepared and there’s something for everyone. However, for the desserts, only a few really stood out

On a practical note, we had to visit the nearby hospital during our stay and the staff there were excellent. We felt very secure and the doctors were professional and attentive

Lyttos mare is such a beautiful hotel - the staff were so attentive and couldn’t fault the food, the cleanliness & facilities! Plus the hotels steak and Asian restaurants were stunning but had to be booked during the week

The restaurant was open at almost any time and there were basically no restrictions. The kids loved the water slide. Although it was not big, there were not many people and they could enjoy it

Unfortunately, the temperature was relatively low in early May and there was a strong wind. Although the outdoor swimming pool was beautiful, it was not very swimmable

Really nice hotel with plenty of good facilities and a great layout. The pool is enormous and well lit so it really stands out at night and the private beach is a lovely touch. The food does let it down though

We came as a family of 4 with a 4 year old and 3 month old. The hotel is decent for a family break. Pools and slides very good for the kids and for an all inclusive the food wasn’t too bad although repetitive

As other reviews state, snack bar serving pizza/gyros/burgers which is decent. Drinks mainly all self serve, typical for an all inclusive, local brands but ok

Enjoyed the entertainment with Greek night hosted at the Pool Bar and animation team star providing an impromptu concert after the salsa dancing. Nice location on the beach and easy trip from Chania Airport

We arrived at reception for the room to be told we’d have to wait for another 3 family’s to use it first. Not great with young children when you’ve been promised you wouldn’t have to wait

All in all it was a good family holiday but this incident did ruin our opinion of the hotel at the end. PS ignore people moaning about the beach, it’s lovely and quiet just get some beach shoes to avoid the rocks!!

All staff on all levels are very polite and professional. Special Big Thank you to Kids club, The lady who look after children very intelligent and responsible you can feel you leave your child in safe place

The hotel of course attracts people from different age groups, and perhaps families with loud children isn’t the perfect match for elderly people with hearing aids, but they do their very best to cater for everyone’s taste offering family areas, as well as adult only areas

Awesome place Fantastisk hotell. It was like staying in a little village, they had everything inside the perimeter. shops, outdoor activities, playgrounds pools for the kids. Beautiful view to the sunset/sunrise

"Lyttos Beach is an absolute gem! The crystal-clear waters and powdery sand make it a perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. The scenic views are breathtaking, and the beach is well-organized with amenities nearby

Staff were great although the bar staff were always stretched resulting in long queues. Water park area is fantastic. The option of an indoor pool in low season also great if the weather is not great

i would have liked more entertainment ( during the day and night) so i could come next time with my teenagers kids next time, but this is what make this place extra quiet

Stay was good but I indicated 2A2C and this was not provided and we had to pay additional for 2 children and the price to pay at the hotel counter was at open rate and not at the child rate indicated in your email confirmation

They took care of us like family. Especially the beach bar staff were #1. We were with a large group of friends and they were so attentive and added a lot of laughter and fun to our experience

Very clean with comfortable rooms and beds with comfortable mattresses and pillows that ensure a good night's sleep. It's very easy to access the location and is near by center of town

The animation team was fantastic – plenty of activity programs during the day and great themed evening shows at their dedicated theater. There are many pools, all in excellent condition and very well maintained

My husband and I love Greece 🇬🇷 a lot, our favourite restaurants are Greek restaurant in Germany 🇩🇪, so we decided to go there as our honeymoon 👰🏻‍♀️ 🤵🏼‍♂️ so Crete was the best option and we chose Sol Marina beach hotel, one of the best one based on what we read, and based on what we experienced 😍, very friendly employees, so clean, tidy, and the environment is so beautiful

The food is exceptionally good and everyone in the staff is very friendly. It's a beautiful resort with lots of comfortable sunbeds around the pools. There is animation but not too late and not too loud

We recently had the pleasure of returning for our second stay, and it was every bit as delightful as we remembered! From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming staff made us feel right at home

They were well-maintained and provided a relaxing oasis. We loved lounging by the pool, soaking up the sun, and enjoying refreshing drinks from the bar. Overall, our second visit was a fantastic experience

We had a swim up room which is a game changer with kids. Water park great with slides to suit all ages. We are normally ready to go home after a week, but didn’t want to leave Highly recommended

We stayed at Stella Palace in the fall and had a suite with pool sharing. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the direct pool access is absolutely fantastic

A special mention to George in the restaurant who is just one of those welcoming and helpful people that makes your holiday very special. He’s worked there for 25 years and could not do enough for our family

Other stuff isn't overpriced either. Hotel buildings are 4 stories at max. Water slides offer average thrill. Only downsides are that heated pool was as cold as outside and massage jets don't work

Just back from a ten day stay at Grand Hotel. Super clean rooms and dining areas. Pool areas power hosed every morning and then mopped by the very hard working cleaners

At the pool bar Eva and Alexandriou worked very hard and always had a welcome and a smile

Excellent choice of food in main restaurant and vegetarians catered for at all times. Desserts delicious and plenty of choice compared to many other all inclusive hotels that I’ve stayed in

He’s the type that knows what you need before you know yourself! Nothing is a bother to him and we will always remember his kindness

This was our first time visiting Greece and we want to come back for more! We stayed at the of June as a family of 4 and had a great time

They explained everything to us and were very helpful! We stayed in room 152 which was above the Filamena restaurant. The room was very spacious with the teenagers one end and the adults at the other

We had two bathrooms, which was awesome and also a partial sea view which we wasn't expecting. Unfortunately there is a downside to the rooms and that is the paper thin walls

The transfer from the airport was roughly 20 minutes which was great! We were then greeted by lovely reception staff

The indoor bar by the children’s pool also had people smoking inside it, even with the sides shut and a single door open

Not the hotels fault but didn't help us on the sleep front! We literally spent most of our time by the pool at the Filamena. We didn't have to get up early for a sunbed as there were plenty

The evening program for children and adults was also imaginative and pleasant, thanks to the young French artists, accompanied by great dance routines and music

Programs and care for children, even very young ones, were, thanks to the lovely Czech animators, meticulous and enthusiastically accepted by the children

From the reception to the aforementioned bars or playgrounds, it was professional, attentive, friendly, and helpful

Even though we experienced about 50 hours of constant strong wind, so typical of the southern part of Crete, we found time to rent a car and visit many pleasant and interesting places, including sandy beaches in the southeastern tip and the eastern coast of Crete

As an experienced traveler (here I also include business trips around the world), I greatly appreciated the atmosphere of the hotel and the approach of its staff

I would also like to highlight the unobtrusive, but friendly and very efficient help of Mr. Stephanos Kaminis, the hotel's Guest Relations Manager

However it is well worth the walk along the promenade. The pools were surprisingly good with the main pool being an infinity pool

There was all day entertainment, but the evenings are mainly about children so there is not a lot for adults. We had one fire and LED evening during the two weeks which was good

They also have several free cocktails if that is your thing, Location is on the edge of town, so it is a walk to amenities, which caused us a problem as the temperature was very high until late evening

Lovely hotel covering a large area. Food was brilliant with numerous different options for all meals. There was also a large vegan option at all meal times even though I am not vegan myself

Rooms were adequate and comfortable all with free security boxes and air con. Rooms cleaned daily and cannot complain about cleanliness

Except the exhausting Corona rules it is a place of enjoyment for kids. The water slide park, mini club, children disco - everything made for a perfect childrens' holidays.

Well it is not a 5 star hotel as it claims to be. Housekeeping needs improvement in terms of cleaning, yelling through corridors from 08:00 and general behaviour. The pool is nice for children

Amazing place for a whole family. Aqua park great entertainment for kids and adults also. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Food delicious! Just few steps from the sea! Everything is clean and taking care of

The covid way of breakfast and dinner is an awful experience but only because they followed the all the nesessary rules and safety guidelines

So yes they did a great job of controlling the people and keeping lines and disenfecting everything but the experience is really boring

Children's animation, decent kitchen. The beach is small and not very wide area for children in the shallow water, but swimming with a mask not to swim out of the Bay you can see a huge number of marine animals

My family and I, wife and children aged 9 and 11, had a wonderful 5 days at the Arminda. The food quality was good, tasty and plentiful

Arminda is very good if you have a young family with you, but adult entertainment options are limited and/or not included in the all-inclusive price

The rooms were cleaned daily, at a convenient time for us, the facilities were also exceptionally clean and the gym was great! There was live entertainment including an Abba show, magic show for kids, plays and karaoke for all

One of those events per night. Our kids loved the food variety, pool and entertainment provided. Lots of activities for kids which allowed for some adult time too. Check-in and out staff were helpful with advice too

The service was polite, courteous and engaging as we were always checked on to make sure everything was to our satisfaction

We were accommodated in a large good room /family room/. All the rooms in the hotel are good, modern and neat. The beach is wonderful and the sea is fabulous silky
