Amazing staff and beautiful place

A charming place to stay with the staff and facilities ecellent. The accommodation beautiful and a little oasis in the heart of Agia Pelagia. Will definitely book again when i come to Crete.

Not luxury. Its a nice hotel.. Nothing special.. I certainly would not call it "luxury" as its name says. Having to constantly pay for drinks around the pool and bar is a hassle and a faff.. a luxury hotel would give you a tab.. room was clean, staff friendly

Had a wonderful and relaxed time. The Apartments are well equipped and spacious. The small village has everything you need like supermarkets, restaurants, etc.

Very nice and helpful staff. They allow guests drop their bags and to remain in the pool area or elsewhere outside the hotel and shower after checkout. This was extremely convenient, as I had a later flight. It allowed me to take full advantage of the last day. I loved the apartment. It felt like a home away from home.

Wonderful, in every way! Close to the beach, Clean sandy beach and sea. The pool area is also nice and clean. Fits for couples and families, for anyone actually. This hotel was basic and cheap, which is great if that’s all you want. However, the food was not great; there wasn’t a big choice, the chef clearly can’t cook eggs (the omelette and scrambled eggs were SO rubbery) the salad bits were nice though. After unpleasant start (we got a room that was dark and had mold smell), we were given a very nice room on 7th floor. Breakfast was good, vasrious dishes avaiable. A small beach is near the hotel, old town 15 minutes walk. All in all, a very nice experience.

There's good & bad here. First up, the Aegean classes its self as a 4* hotel, meaning the tourist tax is €10 per room, per night - payable on check in. Second up, it's a no flushing loo roll place, which is fairly common but worth noting as most of the 2 bed suites only have one bathroom. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Instead of the studio we booked, we were given a spacious apartment, which was a great surprise. We just came back home from our stay at Kastalia Village. It’s on the edge of town and it’s perfect- quiet, far from all the crowds. It has large parking so ideal place for people with rented cars. There is some restaurants and shops nearby and a tiny shop just next to it- the lovely gentleman there has everything you need. This was a great hotel to stay in, especially with having kids. Had great swimming Pools and activities one thing though the Bar and Restaurant shut to early of an evening by 10 o clock they should of stayed open later at least till 12 o clock so guests could enjoy themselves more with being on Holiday that was my only criticism. WiFi slow. targeted towards families. If you are a couple I highly suggest a room with private pool. Cleaner inconsistent. Our stay at Marninis awesome. Our suite with private pool is very luxurious. When we had a complaint it was easybtobreach the front desk. Staff is friendly and very helpful. I definitely recommend this place.

Hotel apt was clean and comfortable and staff is alwas nice and ready to help. Be aware the beach is not for children , it is really deep right after you step in the water. The beach is the gravel type!!! We had to travel 8 km towards Chania everyday where is sandy beach and calm water!!!

Good hotel and very helpful staff, the cleaningladies are very nice and happy! If you are there more than 7 days you will get tired of the breakfastbuffé let alone 7 days the juice ia barely juice and tastes very synthetic. Perfect place for a family holiday, the hotel on the first line, 20 meters from the beautiful sea, the magnificent sandy beach. We had a nice spacey room with sea view. We stayed there for one night, which was quite expensive, but for a family with kids this is definitely a place to visit. Very good bathroom and shower and good quality beds.
