This place is autentisk, with a lot off background history from the 1600. We stayed in the old hotel room. And i loved it, big room and toilet/bathroom for very cheep price. 👍 They have build new apartments to at the hotel There is a nice pool also for small children.. For a 2 star hotel I am very satisfied. The breakfastbis 8-10am and isn't something super fancy but you do have quite a few choices. Simply the best! The family operated guesthouse, is that. You’re a guest and they offer the best of Cretan hospitality. They make you feel like family. It is just far enough out of the hustle and bustle of chania, yet only about a 5-6 minute drive into town. The orange groves, pool and pool bar area is perfect. We have visited and stayed numerous times.

10min drive from Chania, quite and relaxing place, lovely pool with a bar, great breakfast (don't miss the yogurt with honey!), our room was the cheapest I could find so nothing fancy but had everything you need and was very clean! The staff are the friendliest, sweetest people I've met! Would definitely be back!

I stayed in the updated apartments booked via Airbnb. It was absolutely beautiful. A cool well decorated room with a powerful shower and great aircon. The location is just perfect for exploring Chania. The hosts were very helpful and the little terrace is perfect for coffee and a book or perhaps wine and sunset. I would happily stay again!

Loved staying here in the old town. The door did not lock very well to the room, but the entire building was locked at night and the owner was always sitting outside because they own the shop downstairs, so it felt very safe.

What a find!! Spotlessly clean, helpful staff, lovely swimming pool (unmanned but not too deep with the same depth from end to end) road in front is a busy road but after a while hardly notice it. Close to the beach and the local restaurants, this hotel has to offer really clean and spacious rooms with all the facilities,e.g. room service,parking space,bathroom amenities and a pool with a garden. It is a very small apartment but very good location about 40 m from the sea. The toilet shower space is good, and renovated and nowadays. The livingroom is small, the kitchenette outdated. I am travelling around Greece for a couple years now and all I have to say is that I have never experienced better hospitality than the owners of the apartments. Apartment was clean and the view was amazing , it's next to every hotspot of the area and you really not gonna need to use the car . I recommend it no doubt.

Staying at the hotel for the second time we realized that is still a great hotel with some ups and downs. Ups: Service, location, pool, spacious room with kitchen and very friendly staff. Downs: The spa treatment are too expensive ( double the price of a regular treatment), coffee at breakfast is a disappointment and the beds are rather soft. The service was excellent! The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. However, the hotel has a few major flaws: 1. The photos are misleading! The actual rooms are extremely small. A bed is almost completely full, and if both suitcases are open, there's barely any room to walk. 2. Don't use the hotel's toiletries; the quality is too poor. I suggest bringing your own.

Typical large hotel, everything is fine. It is a good location because the subway is right next door, but it is close to Omonia station, so if you take the wrong road, you can get into trouble. I got my wallet pick-pocketed while trying to transfer at Omonia station.

Really nice, modern hotel. Immaculate, good facilities. pool was a bit too cold for me, the sea is a 5 minute stroll away, that was fantastic. Breakfast was great, with plenty of choices. All staff were friendly and accommodating. Gluten free and Lactose free options were no problem at all. Relaxing and enjoyable stay. The rooms were spacious and a very comfortable and roomy bed. This hotel offers a shuttle service from and to the airport, the cost is 45€ per route. We booked the shuttle service from the hotel because we arrived late at night. Dinner variations were really good but breakfast was repetitive. Room was nice and had a big balcony. Bathroom light was very dim which i didn’t like. Also the information letter says breakfast until 11 but actually it’s until 10:30, so keep that in mind if you’re staying there. Waiting staff were nice and polite. Normal aprtment-hotel. Got lucky and got a room with a ocean view from the balcony which was very nice. Good service, very nice pool area, also for kids. We recently just stayed at Matheo for a week in May and honestly we cannot fault it. On arrival they kindly upgraded our room to the suite and it was beautiful.
