The hotel is in a great location, 19 minutes from the airport. The room was OK. The bathroom was small for our family of four. The buffet restaurant was average, and the food was pretty much the same every day. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent splurge location for a couple. We stayed for 3 nights at the end of our trip and loved it. The service is great, breakfast is excellent with amazing views. A Cretan Delight Minos Palace was simply excellent from the moment we checked-in thru to our departure. The rooms are immaculate, the restaurant areas amongst the best we’ve been to, the quality of cooking at the restaurants is world class. It’s an absolute gem.

We stayed here in August as a family of four and absolutely loved it! First of all we were surprised that when we booked a supreme room the room was small and how we were on the ground floor. Beautiful oasis in a searing hot day. The suite was just beautiful. Comfortable bed, fierce shower, huge fridge. The weather was particularly hot and so we stayed by the lovely pool. Luckily we were able to find something to eat at a local taverna, there are more places at the lower town so do check on opening before you go.

Excellent venue! Location in a nice little town in the mountains, beautifully renovated historical building, cosy place as there are a limited number of suites, the suites are of excellent comfort and well maintained and they fully deliver what the description and the pictures promise, finally a sympathetic and efficient manager who makes sure everything runs smoothly.

This is a beautiful place. Our "room" was a huge suite, beautiful and comfortable. The people are very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts are excellent. And the pool is a great relaxer. We had a lovely holiday here in a resort that is small enough to feel that you get to experience the real Greece. The water park keeps the kids happy and happy kids means happy parents! This hotel has been a really good experience. The best hotel I have been to in a long time. The staff is very friendly and service minded. We relocated to this hotel because of M issue with the original one. We didn't have full money at the time because we were waiting on a refund. Staying at the hotel for the second time we realized that is still a great hotel with some ups and downs. Ups: Service, location, pool, spacious room with kitchen and very friendly staff. Downs: The spa treatment are too expensive ( double the price of a regular treatment), coffee at breakfast is a disappointment and the beds are rather soft. Just returned home from a week on our honeymoon. We stayed in an Aqua marine suite with a sea view. Room was spotless, staff very friendly on arrival. First time in Crete and couldn’t of picked a more ideal place. I’m of Cypriot origin and was like being on holiday with family. George is such a lovely man as were his family who run Palatia Village. An easy relaxing break and will definitely return.

What a quaint little gem! We stayed S/C for one week. The studio was immaculate, with everything you need to prepare and eat a meal. The balcony had an exceptional sea view and mountains.
