After unpleasant start (we got a room that was dark and had mold smell), we were given a very nice room on 7th floor. Breakfast was good, vasrious dishes avaiable. A small beach is near the hotel, old town 15 minutes walk. All in all, a very nice experience.

Our room was huge with its own small pool and large terrace together with sunbeds and wonderful views. We stayed at this boutique hotel for 10 days in the mezzanine room. It was a beautiful quiet hotel centrally located in the heart of old town Rethymno. The bedroom was comfortable and had excellent air conditioning. The bed was also very comfortable. The pool area was fabulous and also very relaxing. The Pepi is located in the heart of Rethymnon and provides an oasis of peace in the city. It has everything you need for the perfect holiday, including a small pool and loungers in the garden. We loved our stay at The Pepi. It was charming and the service was excellent. The interior of the room we stayed in was well laid out. The beds were very firm, almost too firm for us but it was not a deal breaker and the service and hotel itself were wonderful. Very sweet breakfast options and it is directly in the center of old town but it was quiet.

Clean, cute and simple apartments. We felt very welcome by Kostas, who is doing everything there. From breakfast to check in to cocktails, etc. :) The service is great and Piskopiano is also a cute little village where you get everything. Loved this place! Looked like it was from a set from a movie. Great view of the water. Pretty private pool. Walking distance from restaurant and shops. But beware, the walk back up to the hotel is a steep one.

Would’ve been nice to have a chance for a firmer and thinner pillow. The pillows in the closet were the same as the ones in bed.

The restaurants head waiter is very kind and polite. As we arrived midnight after 15h travel, we did not have any toilet paper until next day. Luckily we survived. Would have been nice to apologize immidiately and offer some extra as a kind gesture. The shower head’s upper holder was broken in our room but we weren’t bothered about it after not having toilet paper the first night. Hope they wont try...

Just returned from 14 nights in Despina Apartments, our third time, nothing is too much trouble for George, the apartments are spotless, attended to by Valentino, and the surrounding area, by George. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and shops all along the main road, and a short walk to the beach with sunbeds and shades. We are looking to go back again next year and highly recommend this complex

We had a lovely week's stay and were looked after by our host George. The apartments are close to the beach and are various spacious inside and are spotlessly clean. George was very helpful and knowledgeable of the area and gave us some great tips in terms of places to go. If we come back to Crete, we would definitely come back and stay at Despina Studios again. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely apartment, very spacious, with all the mod cons. Comfortable bed, air con, mini kitchen, terrace, Next decade bathroom - so many options for how you want your water to come out for shower. Short walk to Heaven Beach and restaurant/bar. Other restaurants/shops on main road. So wanted to give this a 5 but just felt a little let down by owner/manager who was not particularly helpful....

One of the most welcoming and friendly host/staff I have ever seen! During our 7 night stay at Ippoliti village there were no problems and the staff was always asking if everything is okay. What is more, I forgot my watch at our room when we checked-out and the staff went out of their way to help me and send it back to me.
