What an experience! Loved our room, the "peace and quiet" vibe of the place, the no-electricity concept. We stayed for one night but we would definitely go back next year. The road to get there is slightly tricky but doable.

we have been there in 2016 and 2017. our favorite place in crete. feels like a pueblo village. perfect combination of ecology and holidays. warning: this is not for the luxory freaks. no pool, no electricity in the rooms, no full service slaves. if you need this, better choose the "white river cottages" in the neighborhood. but here in a.p. you get helpfull staff, lovely people and - if you feed them - lots of cats. we are on our way to spend another week at aspros potamos. :-)

Very nice but it does miss a little plus in terms of deco, check-in/out, we would love something more personal, a little cosy touch in terms of linen, tables, sofas, outside furnitures. The place and the view are delightful, but a personal touch is missing, in the furniture, the emailings, and the deco.

I hate the fact that we didn't find this yesterday when we first started looking for it. Because this was really worth looking for. It is AMAZING here. It is a calm, peaceful, beautiful, unique, and relaxing place. The room/apartment was so cute and unique. It was a little too cold for us, and the bed was VERY firm. The other bed was softer. Please get an extra mattress for the other bed also. Should've had some extra blankets as all of us were a bit cold during the night. (We can't sleep with the windows closed due to the gas heater. The smell afterwards is pretty hard on the brain)
We had some problems paying for our stay. (Apparently the whole system is down today, and we could pay either with cards or get any cash out) This isn't anyones fault so no worries. Just have some cash on you at all times in case of situations like this. This place is amazing. I recommend it wholeheartedly!😊

An incredible stay at Aspros Potamos! The cottages are amazingly beautiful with a strong taste of authenticity and rustic style. The surroundings are just amazing, luscious green, peacefulness and serenity just a couple of minutes away from amenities.

This place is very peaceful and the staff is very kind! You have to try the breakfast with the local cheese pie, it’s delicious.

Best b&b I’ve ever stayed! Be aware...No electricity in the rooms! Only in the common area of reception!

A charming getaway nestled in the rolling hills of southern Crete. With houses built in traditional style and only basic updates for running water, refrigeration an simple lighting. On cold nights you will find yourself reading by lamplight in front of a roaring fire as you have left the electricity and the WiFi back in the breakfast area. The food served here is excellent, made with love and fresh island ingredients. My first introduction to dakos which I have carefully re-created many times since leaving. The cats are charming but don't let them into your suite. Go for a long hike to see the gorge or visit Myrto's shop back in town. Definitely a rustic approach in a busy world where we all need some time to slow down and relax. A car is a must-have.
