Where to stay in Kos

It is a good hotel deliciaus food, super nice people, everything is perfect. Especially the staff take care of everything very nicely and smiled the whole week.

We have just stayed at Mitsis Ramira for 11 nights, travelling from the UK as a family of 3 - 2 adults and a 16 year old. Overall, we enjoyed our stay - the staff are incredible and are really keen to ensure that you have had a good stay and will promptly sort out any issues reported. The room itself was nice - we had a family room so had a partition between the main bedroom and the extra bedroom...

My son and I have had an awesome time here! Staff really go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable; from those serving drinks, food and cleaning staff. Everyone was friendly and professional, I loved that we never felt rushed or like we were an inconvenience. Great location on the beach, clean rooms and great food! Highly recommend the Italian restaurant 🙂

Second time here for us, first time we gave 5 stars. But on the second visit, we were given an auful apartment, this one was so dark and out dated. No hot water in the bathroom sink, but hot water in the shower. Dead ants under sink and light fittings in poor condition. Basic but good. Great location on the harbor right next to ferry loading dock and restaurants. Rooms are basic and sparsely decorated, but nothing really wrong with them. Beds are firm, but nothing too out of the ordinary for Europe. Sound insulation in the room was lacking so you hear housekeeping and people moving around in the morning. Very well situated just on the harbour so location is very good with unlimited restaurants, shops and bars within a few minutes of stepping out on the street. Rooms were pretty basic, AC worked, the beds were 2 single beds pushed together. Rooms were cleaned every day and fresh bedding and towels. Toilet paper is single ply so get used to that. If you get a harbour view room you won’t be disappointed...

Firstly, I'd say this is in no way shape or form a 4 star resort in the average persons views, it is 4 star based on the amenities but not what you'd think is 4 star. Beautiful middle-sized hotel with engaged staff! Rooms. Just came home after a 7-day vacation at Atlantica Thalassa. I have to say one of the best family hotels i have ever experienced. We had all inclusive and the variation of food is great. I've stayed here for 7 nights. I'm writing this review on my last day. Overall I'm really pleased with this hotel and having a great time in Kos. And would recommend people to stay in this resort. The hotel lobby looked really nice. Our room on the third floor looked the same as the advertised photo. And we had to carry our suitcases up the stairs, no lifts unfortunately. I love rooms with sea view. But the room I stayed in Kos Aktis was the best gift I gave myself. It's like being in the wheelhouse of a ship on the ocean, but you're actually on land! ❤️

This has to be one of the best locations on the Greek Island of Kos. I had previously stayed and enjoyed the views and cleanliness of the rooms, so it was time to return. You didn’t disappoint! Amazing hotel, closely located to the center. The front office team is extremely helpful. You can swim just in front of the hotel. The breakfast is also delicious. The only bad thing was the additional bed in the room, which was truly tiny.

We just went for dinner. The outside dining area was fabulous and we got a table right by the sea. The food was delicious but it was so slow we waited about 45 minutes for our starter. Then another 30 minutes for our main course. The staff started clearing up when there were still 3 tables with people eating. It’s worth recommending as it’s so beautiful and if you’re not in a hurry.

the hotel is clean and in a good location. 5 min walk to the center. the swimming pool is not allowed, but you can use the sister hotel's pool 500m away. comprehensive breakfast and good service. the gym room is really small and hot in the summer. it was the only modest one in this hotel. we are really satisfied with the visit and can recommend!

Hotel due for refurb but didnt matter to our stay. William helped us out with bigger room on arrival. Again william and all staff superb. A little gem. Much prefer the smaller hotels more traditional hotels. The welcome,service and facilities were brilliant. Adam and Willian on reception couldn’t do enough for you. Spent 10 nights at the Astron in June 2025. Received a very good welcome by William on arrival who provided us with the hotels amenities and also places to visit in Kos town and the island. The room we were allocated was excellent with views of the harbour, was spacious and very clean. The only negative was there was a plastic toilet seat which moved when you sat down. Just come back from 10 days in Kos. This hotel is in a great location with stunning views at breackfast and evening drinks. Hotel is very clean and well looked after. If you are seeking for the original greek hospitality this is the place! The rooms are very nice and clean. You are provided with everything you need: clean sheets every two days and extra towels for the beach 🏖️. It's quiet and suitable for families with or without children. The best accomodation in Kefalos, probably in all of Kos island. Barbara is one of the best guests I've had so far, very nice and welcoming. She was always available to give advice and make the stay the most comfortable possible. I would recommend it to anybody, anytime!
