Atlantica Beach Resort Hotel in Kardamaina

A very pleasant hotel for families with children. Great pools and a large, two-level paddling pool. Delicious food. Convenient location. Unfortunately, the main restaurant is very crowded during peak season. Large hotel, lots of walking. A wide selection of snacks between meals: burgers, pizza, kebabs, pasta. We recommend the a la carte restaurants. The service is very friendly and professional, especially Zorbina from the Italian restaurant – always friendly, smiling, and competent!

We had a fantastic relaxing holiday. This is a beautiful hotel and quiet location, built into the coast with no road between hotel or the sea. It was stunning. Lovely landscaped gardens. A large pool with not overwhelming entertainment and a separate adults only pool was a great luxury to have (wish smokers were corralled into a smoking area though). The beach was sandy, loads of sunbeds and it was easy to swim in the sea. Really hard working, courteous and helpful staff throughout - thank you all. It seemed a really well managed hotel to us. We went late October so it was peaceful and quiet. The main buffet restaurant was great, so much choice for every meal. We booked the other restaurants with no problem too. Yes we could find a couple of minor gripes (bathroom in our older room was annoyingly small ) but - nothing to whinge about. For sun, relaxation, swimming, sport, beach time and unpretentious but tasty food, this was ideal. Thank you everyone at Atlantica.

Just returned on 15 October after 8 day stay our third visit to Kos always stayed at Atlantica hotels this is first time at Beach resort but far the best we usually go Adults only but the children were all well behaved so was not a problem on arrival George the hotel manager booked us in and treated us really special cannot thank him enough what a lovely human being he is. We stayed in the Residences which we were delighted with the whole area is maintained to a very high standard with landscaped gardens and the facilities were second to none. Everything from dining to leisure and entertainment were perfect plenty of choices to eat and relax or swim we were always able to get one of the many many sunbeds gueste did not need to reserve with towels as Dawn breaks as many other hotels we stayed at did. This is the first time in Greece that we had a Sandy beach so was perfect for us. I would like to give thanks to the 3 piece rock band we were priveleged to watch the lead guitarist was up there with the best. although our rooms were at the residences 5 minute walk aways they have buggy service to ferry guests back and forth between main hotel these guys were fantastic so helpful and polite they deserve a special mention. I would rate this hotel 100% no complaints whatsover I am 80 my Wife 77 perfect

Absolutely fantastic holiday. We stayed for 10 days and were in the residence part of the hotel. Room was comfy and had a good view. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much for them. Food was good and there was a choice for every one. Only downside was there was not much evening entertainment but that could have been because of the time of year. Close to the beach and a buggy to ferry us from the residence side to the main hotel. Receptionist in the residence side was fantastic and friendly I can’t remember her name but is from Estonia. Would definitely go back to this hotel.

Just returned from our holiday and we've had an amazing week here. The hotel is beautiful, very clean and well kept throughout. The food was amazing. Always a good selection and very good quality. We ate at the snack bar for lunch and it was perfect overlooking the sea whilst eating. All the staff were very attentive and friendly. The location of the hotel is perfect, such a beautiful beach.

We have visited the Atlantica Beach resort Kos for the last 3 years. This stunning hotel continues to tick all our boxes for a beautiful family holiday. We visited again in August this year with high expectations and sadly on arrival we were disappointed with the attitude of some members of staff on reception. We were under the expectation that our room would be near to our families which we requested a year in advance- as well as contacting Tui, and the Tui rep at the hotel. All of our wishes were ignored. Requests weren't considered. Our room was outdated and air con not working, bathroom toilet was in the shower cubicle. Plus there was an expectation that our two children shared a small sofa bed, which is not what we requested. We had booked a room with a sliding door and two separate single beds. We contacted main reception via telephone to explain the air-conditioning wasn't working and the room wasn't fit for the purpose of our stay. Reception were completely unhelpful and said there was nothing they could do as they were fully booked. But they would send an engineer to sort the air-conditioning. They attempted to fix the air-conditioning twice- clearly it wasn't working and was too hot to stay in that room. I then went to reception to speak with the manager in person, at this time feeling angry tired, upset and having missed 3 hours at the start of my holiday with my family. I was greeted by Mario's. Who showed empathy, kindness and support. He was totally aware of how upset I was feeling and said he would do everything he could to improve this situation and our stay. I am aware that Mario's is the wedding and events planner..and in my opinion this is not an expectation of his job. He passed on our concerns to the manager of the hotel who came to meet me to explain there is nothing he could do, they couldn't change the rooms so to revisit in the morning to see if the situation changed. He said he would go and double check, and to take a seat for 10mins. The manager never returned. Mario's stood up and took charge of the situation Mario clearly values people's expectations, and opinions and wants to ensure everyone is happy! He went out of his way for the next few hours to sort us a room with a working air con and a better bed situation for our children. He made us feel that nothing was too much trouble and clearly knows how to communicate with guests to ensure they have the best stay possible. Something many of the staff need to learn. Mario checked in with us every day as well as booking us in for some amazing food in the restaurants. Mario's who was modelling the new beach Hat vibe this year is a superstar and a credit to the Atlantica Hotel. This should be rewarded and acknowledged as we were contemplating leaving the hotel if we could not overturn this obstacle. Thank you Mario's. After all the initial upset, we have rebooked our next visit in August 2026 thanks to Marios and turning our holiday around. The

We stayed at the Atlantica Beach Resort for a week at the end of July. We stayed, on the Residence side in a Premium Room with a Private Pool – and I can honestly say this was one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. On arrival, the entrance was busy and loudbut welcome drinks were provided, and we were checked in relatively quickly. Our room wasn’t quite ready at 2pm, so we were invited to have lunch while we waited, which was a lovely touch. By the time we returned, everything was good to go. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful, offering us great information about the resort. Since we were on the Residence side, a buggy was ready to take us to our room, as it’s a bit separated from the main complex (which we loved for the peace and quiet). The room itself was modern, spotlessly clean, and while not the largest we’ve had, it had plenty of storage space, a huge patio, and a very generous private pool. Our room overlooked the gardens – a truly beautiful, relaxing view. The bathroom was clean and well-stocked with towels, which is always appreciated! The Residence area had its own pool, snack and ice cream bar, and an à la carte restaurant (which we didn’t try). Breakfast and main meals were at the main buffet restaurant or one of the à la cartes. One of the à la carte spots looked like something straight out of Mamma Mia – just stunning – but it was quite difficult to book, even on the first day. If you’re planning to dine there, I recommend booking as early as possible. The buffet restaurant could get quite loud and very busy, but the food was decent and typical of an all-inclusive – varied enough to find something you like. The bars were a bit slow, but staff were always friendly and cheerful, and service was consistent. We had one maintenance issue: on the second day, we realised our door wasn’t locking properly. We reported it, and a maintenance team arrived quickly – although, during the fix, they accidentally locked us in our room for 90 minutes! Thankfully, we had the private pool, so it wasn’t too much of an inconvenience. Again, staff handled it all very nicely. Entertainment was hit or miss – we never quite figured out where it was happening each night, and it was a bit of a guessing game. I’d call it average at best, but we didn’t go for the entertainment, so this wasn’t a dealbreaker. The hotel is located about 2 miles from the nearest village. We were told there are only 53 taxis on the island, so taxis need to be pre-booked. There is a local bus service every 90 minutes or so but they get very crowded. We only used it once. Now – the beach. Absolutely gorgeous. The resort has a long stretch of private beach, and even when visiting in the afternoon, we found sunbeds. The sea is rocky, so bring beach shoes, but once you’re in, there’s plenty to see while snorkelling – loads of fish and clear waters, with a beautiful horizon. A real highlight! The hotel is located in a stunning location with incredible views. Located with beaches around the hotel, making for an incredible seaside setting. Pictures below are taken from the beaches. One beach faces the sunrise & another beach faces the sunset. Which were both incredible might I add. We booked an Executive Suite which was located in the main hotel & the room was decorated tastefully & modern. Our only issue was the room (155) had absolutely no hot water thought our seven night stay. After three reports to reception, which I was fobbed off with, eventually on the fourth report we were offered a change of rooms. Which was on the 5th night. We were firstly offered a double room near to our original room, which was declined as it was not to the same standard of room which I booked and paid for. Secondly, offered a junior suite which we viewed & decided not to move into. Given we’d have to move all our stuff to a different part of the hotel for only two nights. Other than that issue, we had a wonderful stay & would certainly return. So much so we have booked another Atlantica hotel in a different part of Greece for next year. I have attached some photos of the hotel, which was always spotlessly clean & with friendly staff. P.S the bed & pillows were the comfiest I’ve ever slept on!
