A public, small rocky pebble beach lies 250 meters across a quiet road, featuring wooden decking and paid sunbeds and umbrellas; the beach entry is rocky, so special footwear is advised. Stayed here for 14 nights breakfast included. Although we stayed up so late every night we didn’t get chance to sample much breakfast but what we did have was a lovely selection of both hot and cold foods. First few days we spent around the pool which has a lovely cocktail bar and hot food options. The room was nice enough, however the 2 beds together was a nightmare and no matter how we tried we couldn’t both cuddle up. The staff were amazing, helpful and tried their best to make the evenings enjoyable for both adults and kids.
Mini market on site is also very handy. Good selection of items you would need.
Negatives:- our room didn’t have the option to not ask for housekeeping, this button outside the door didn’t work. Every morning you’re woken by housekeeping, which is fine for those getting up for breakfasts but if you’re trying to enjoy a lie in past 9am forget it. You can also hear them clean all the adjacent rooms from 7am onwards.
WiFi is also chargeable, there is free WiFi but it’s not great, this is charged per device. At €15 for 2 weeks it’s an added cost.
The main bathrooms were also in a poor hygienic state, every time they were used they were dirty, had no hand towels and a hand dryer that was as much use as me blowing on them.
Overall it was ok, but I wouldn’t stay again, it’s too far away from most things. If you’re happy to chill in a hotel then it’s fine, but if you want a nightlife and different food then it’s not the right place.

We stayed at the Kresten Palace in Rhodes towards the end of October 2025 and had a really lovely time. The weather was spot on for that time of year — warm and sunny every day, but not too hot, which suited us perfectly. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well looked after, and our room was always spotless and a nice place to come back to after a day out. What really stood out though was the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and a special mention has to go to Niki and Margarita in the dining room — always smiling, chatty, very helpful and genuinely made us feel welcome. All in all, it was a very relaxing break, just what we needed, and we’d happily stay there again.

A very typical greece hotel. There are other better options out there

Booked a week here to celebrate my hubbies birthday. We arrived late, around midnight. There were only 3 groups checking in before us, but it took the gentleman on reception a very long time to process their arrival. He was polite and gave clear instructions to locating our room, and basic information on breakfast times, location of shop and restaurant.
The room was of good size and presented well. On closer inspection, there is some wear and tear that should be addressed.
Still comfy and cozy.
Cleaning staff faultless, but did remove our ashtray and did not replace towels correctly, no floor mat on 1st towel change and only one bath size provided too. Saying that, we were more than happy, and were very comfortable.
Food was pleasant and plentiful, as you'd expect, somewhat repetitive. Dining staff welcoming, always smiling and there to assist you at anytime.
Pool and pool bar, great. Staff happy attentive and genuinely cheerful and friendly. Food really good, great variety and big portions.
Finally, last but not least!! The animation team. It was a November, so late season so I guess thats why the team was limited, Team leader Kiko and Zico a relatively new member were absolutely great. Being the quiet season, more of a challenge to "get the small crowd involved and laughing" but they managed it, and we were laughing along and got involved. By the end of the week, they were more like friends. Daytime activities with them again were varied and fun, but not many got involved. Nevertheless, Kiki showed up every day smiling and enthusiastic. My hubbie played table tennis 🏓 with him a couple of times, Kiko won 🏆 both times lol! They sang Steven happy birthday 🎂 totally embarrassed him lol. We took photos with them on the last evening, ending a fantastic holiday 😀

We had an excellent stay at the Kresten Palace. The staff were so friendly, the room we had was a deluxe swim up pool room and this was clean, comfortable and very quiet. We went bed and breakfast and there was a huge choice of different items each morning. Food was sometime luke warm but overall very tasty. Pool facilities are brilliant and the kiosk which served the food was outstanding. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

We’ve just got back from a week here and sadly we are glad to be home. We had a swim up room which was lovely however the pool was freezing all day every day. We had lots of ants in our room which meant we couldn’t leave food in our room. The cocktail bar was lovely- staff all friendly however you do have to ask them to come over to serve you- they don’t take much initiative. Meal times were chaos- breakfast no matter what time you went was awful! We never had a drink with breakfast as they always ran out of cups and didn’t restock them! Evening meal was very simple- we spent most nights hungry and going to the shop on site for snacks. The themed nights were okay. Meat was always undercooked and obviously this is very off putting. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and our room and the time to relax but sadly will not return!

dissatisfied with our stay. we payed a lot of money as a young couple for a swim up room to treat ourselves. we arrived at night and for the-next day did not have a single speck of sun on our terrace. shame as wasted our first day as couldn’t sunbathe. asked to switch rooms and we were able to the next day. in the new room sun was on our terrace until about 1pm which still doesn’t give too much time to sunbathe. the sun beds on our terrace were filthy and covered in children’s crayon wax. the room itself was okay although both bedside lampshades broken, little bits around the room that needed replacing. breakfast at the hotel was very bad too, cold and covered in grease, didn’t bother with it most days. there was two wasps nests in the corridor leading to our room which we found disgusting and unacceptable. “private beach” nice to snorkle at but not to sit at, i think the sunbeds are even older than me lol, seems a shame. drinks are okay, some of the food at the pool is okay some is overpriced. most of the staff friendly accept from one women in the mini mart. mini mark overpriced. beware the taxis will take multiple different trips at once, you may be sat with strangers a lot. disappointed considering price. all of the sunbeds around the big pool are broken or broken and glued back together. lots of chips of wood from the broken sunbeds all over the floor which is definitely a hazzard. sunbeds will break when you sit on them from it have been broken before already. this is supposed to be a 4* im not so sure how. wifi and safe you need to pay for if not in a swim up deluxe. wifi runs out after a week and you cannot log back on. swim up room pools are freezing which takes away from the romantic feel you were hoping for. makes you not even want to go in the pool it is so cold.

When we first arrived the children were given a little octopus toy, this is my babies favourite toy as it’s soft with a rattle inside. We was glad the porter helped us with our bags and showed us our room and we wouldn’t have found it. We found the corridors very dark and did think on first impressions the hotel was a little run down in places. However, our room was clean and spacious and once there was availability we upgraded to a swim up pool. The room was even more airy and was immaculate and new. The swim up pool however was freezing. The restaurant food we found was cooked well and tasty as we all managed to find enough to eat each night. They had themed nights and we found they had enough variety. As the week went on, we enjoyed our stay more and more as we enjoyed the happy hour in the cocktail bar and the kids liked the entertainment at night we also ventured into Rhodes town. Public transfer is right outside the hotel and very regular. We also went to Lindos. Definitely recommend both. The beach we found a little scruffy and not much around the hotel but down the hill was a bar and supermarkets. The hotel also had a well stocked supermarket. We had a lovely stay though.

Just got back from a lovely 5 night stay at Kresten palace with my partner for his birthday. All in all, the trip was wonderful, the staff were friendly and accommodating and extremely helpful with providing information regarding buses and taxis.

We had breakfast included which was a brilliant selection of hot and cold food including fruit and cereal. We also paid €20 each for an evening meal in the restaurant which was a great option for us. We also had a meal and drinks in the cocktail bar.

The hotel has a luggage room for after you check out if you need to wait for your transfer, this makes it easy to enjoy your last day before your flight home.

The only issue was that I payed extra and booked a room with a terrace/balcony and sea view, however our room just had 1 small window and no terrace or balcony and overlooked the car park at the front of the hotel. When we got to the hotel, it was very late and we just wanted to go to sleep but I’m sure if we bought this to the attention of the staff, this would have been resolved but it wasn’t a major issue for us and I think was an error on the brokerage side than the hotel themselves.

I was a little apprehensive about our stay given the reviews I had read before the trip, but I can honestly say the hotel was amazing and we had no issues ( other than the room, but again, i think this was more of a brokerage booking error).

We will definitely be revisiting !
